"Hissing?"
Dumbledore stared at Harry and said in a somewhat serious tone, "Harry, where did you hear that sound?"
"I ..."
Harry opened his mouth, he looked a little nervous, "Professor Dumbledore, I heard the sound in the hallway. We followed the sound and came to see it ..."
With that said Harry glanced a little sadly at the Ravenclaw girl who had been attacked.
Dumbledore nodded slightly.
If he hadn't learned from Andy that Harry is a Parseltongue, Dumbledore obviously wouldn't have thought of the crux of the problem so quickly.
That 'hissing' sound, if it was a Parseltongue, then it shouldn't have been a 'hissing' sound that Harry had heard, but normal speech.
The Parseltongue wasn't a simple snake tongue, but a kind of 'snake tongue proficiency' magic.
Under the effect of this Parseltongue magic, the language of snakes would sound no different from the normal language to Harry.
So ...
Either Harry was lying, or he was trying to hide the information that he is a Parselmouth. Or it was just a normal 'hissing' sound and not a sound made by a snake or a parseltongue.
Dumbledore was more convinced of the third possibility, though.
Someone had told Harry that he had heard a 'hissing' sound, which had then led Harry to the area where the attacked Ravenclaw girl had been found.
Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore, "Albus, what does that sound mean?"
"Minerva ..."
Dumbledore said cryptically, "Fifty years ago, in this same place, Myrtle heard some strange noises."
"You mean ..." Professor McGonagall's face changed dramatically.
"Yes!"
Dumbledore nodded, "Someone is trying to use this news to create a panic. Minerva, you and Poppy take this child to the school's hospital wing. Harry, Ron ... you two come with me."
Andy glanced at Ron who was following Dumbledore, his brows slightly furrowed, and there were a few questions in his heart that he could not figure out.
This attack was too bizarre.
First of all, it was Ron who had acted a little differently and then let Hermione notice it.
Secondly, according to Harry, he heard some 'hissing' sound before the attack happened.
But that's simply not possible.
Since Harry is Parselmouth, Parseltongue is normal language to Harry's ears - he simply can't hear the 'hissing' sounds that snakes make.
Finally, there was that whole thing that had happened earlier.
Ron aside, Harry just had that anxious look on his face, clearly worried that someone was going to reveal some secret.
But why exactly was he worried?
Andy thought at first that Harry was worried that he would expose Ron's secret.
But Andy soon realized that Harry didn't have to worry about that at all.
Because Andy didn't have any proof.
If he wasn't worried about Andy exposing Ron, then was Harry worried about something Ron said or did?
'Is it about his Parseltongue secret? Or is it something to do with me?' Andy guessed in his mind.
"Andy!"
Hermione looked at Andy and asked in a whisper, "What did Potter just mean by that? Is he suspecting you?"
Andy made a helpless expression, "Let's go eat first, we'll talk on the way."
"Actually, I was wondering what that Harry fellow really meant. But one thing is certain now, and that is that Ron is definitely not the culprit."
In this matter tonight, Ron was at best cannon fodder.
His role was to serve two purposes.
First, to draw Andy's attention to him.
Second, to influence Harry's judgment in some way.
It's just that ... even if Andy now has four points of the [Thinking] attribute, it's hard to figure out what exactly is the connection between these two points for a while.
"Indeed!"
Hermione said quietly, "I just paid attention to Weasley. At first, he had a slightly odd expression on his face. Then ... when you said you hadn't noticed anything, he didn't show much expression."
"Well ..."
Andy pondered for a moment and spread his hands, "We're still missing a piece of information, a key piece of information that can connect all the clues together."
"We can just sort the whole thing out from the beginning."
Hermione said, "Let's start with the fact that I noticed something unusual about Harry and Ron last night ..."
"No!"
Andy interrupted, "If we're going to sort out the clues from the beginning, I think ... it would be best if we started with Voldemort's purpose."
"Voldemort's purpose?" Hermione was a little surprised.
While speaking, Andy and Hermione had already walked into the great hall.
Perhaps it was because of the attack that had just occurred, there were not many people in the great hall at all.
Andy and Hermione found a seat and sat down.
"That's right, the purpose of Voldemort!"
Andy said with a straight face, "We all heard it, both of those two victims of the attack had a large amount of their life force sucked out of them. From the looks of it, that dark magic item wanted to regain its power and then escape Hogwarts to resurrect."
"Exactly!"
Hermione nodded in agreement, "I have no doubts about that."
Andy continued, "He's heard something about me since Justin's attack. Perhaps ... he also found some clues in the Chamber of Secrets that would prove that I had been there."
Hermione nodded.
Judging from what had happened so far, Andy's judgment should be right.
"So he's on to me."
Andy thought for a moment and continued, "Of course, he's also been keeping an eye on Harry. For this reason, he also controlled Ron and learned some information from Ron."
"For example, the fact that I once learned the parseltongue from Harry."
By this point in the analysis, the situation looked a lot clearer.
"He placed the location of the attack in the girls' lavatory on the second floor ... Is he doing this to set you up?" Hermione asked with some concern.
There was no need to be afraid of thieves stealing, but they should be afraid of what thieves would want to do.
If the culprit really targeted Andy, then Andy would be in too much danger.
"Maybe!"
Andy said calmly, "Hermione, do you remember what we talked about before, the real purpose of that dark magic item?"
Hermione's eyes lit up at that, "Escape from Hogwarts and resurrect himself."
"Exactly!"
Andy nodded and said, "To achieve this goal, he needs power, intelligence, and more importantly, chaos in the castle, which will create an opportunity for him to escape the castle."
The Basilisk was already dead, so the Chamber of Secrets had lost its value.
If Voldemort had tossed the Chamber of Secrets out to get the attention of the crowd, then the whole thing made sense.
"Andy!"
Hermione said with a look of approval, "Do you remember Professor Dumbledore's words? He specifically mentioned Myrtle and the attack fifty years ago."
"But ... we told Professor Dumbledore the location of the Chamber of Secrets a long time ago."
Andy suddenly snickered.
Let Voldemort scheme as much as he could, no matter how much he thought, I believe that he would never have anticipated that his plan would be ruined by a 'loudmouth', right?
I, Andy, will keep my mouth shut!
