Killing Curse!
It dawned on Andy's mind that a strong killing intent and magic power being discharged together would form a killing curse.
Then what about other emotions?
Before Andy could think about it, he heard Dumbledore ask rhetorically, "Collins, do you know why the happy emotion is so special?"
Andy: "?"
Are happy emotions special?
Andy had never pondered this question.
Dumbledore suddenly asked, "Do you know Severus?"
Andy nodded, there was nothing wrong with admitting that.
Dumbledore continued, "Severus is strong, he experienced bone-crushing pain, but he pulled through and has held on to this day."
"He never forgot for a moment why he did what he did."
Andy recalled the Snape he knew.
If all those things he guessed were true, then Snape as a person ... was indeed quite strong.
Of course, what Dumbledore wanted to express was not this point.
Once ... even just a few months ago, Andy thought that happy memories were very short, and only pain could be etched in one's mind.
This is the truth.
It was said that it was not too late for a gentleman to take revenge after ten years, but no one had ever said that it was not too late for a gentleman to be happy after ten years.
Happiness is often just a momentary thing.
But what Dumbledore is trying to say is ...
Some people were healed of their trauma, while others spent their lives trying to heal their trauma.
The happy memories in Snape's mind were a ray of light in his life. His joy was very short-lived, but that short-lived joy was enough to heal Snape for the rest of his life.
Andy somewhat understood what Dumbledore meant.
"Happy memories are very special indeed," Andy said frankly.
Dumbledore slowly said, "Casting a Patronus charm ... requires recalling the happiest things in our mind. And happiness, in turn, often stems from the love in our hearts."
"What is the Patronus Charm?"
"The happiness born from the love in your heart, it will always guard your heart ... This is the Patronus Charm."
Andy felt like he was being fooled.
But it had to be said that this 'love' statement of Dumbledore's sounded a bit reasonable.
A short period of love would be able to heal a person's broken heart for a lifetime.
It can even be said that the most fundamental reason why those bitter and painful memories are unforgettable is - the loss of love.
For example, ... Uchiha Obito.
He chose to destroy the world because of the loss of love, and in the end, was saved because of love.
If you analyse it according to this theory, then instead of saying that happiness is the most special emotion, it would be better to say that love is the most special emotion.
Love?
Andy pondered thoughtfully.
Dumbledore had always preached that love was the most powerful magic.
If analysed according to the relationship between the mind and magic, this theory was actually correct.
Positive emotions stem from protecting one's love, and negative emotions stem from losing one's love.
Everything originated from love!
Andy scratched his head and glanced at Dumbledore with some complaint.
Am I being fooled, or is this theory itself correct?
Andy had a bitter look on his face.
Dumbledore was surprised, "What's wrong?"
Andy sighed and replied, "Nothing ... I just suddenly feel that what you said really makes sense."
Dumbledore: "?"
What's wrong with that?
Dumbledore was a bit baffled, when did what I said not make sense? It's just that most of the time, people don't believe it.
"Love is the most powerful magic."
Andy laughed, "Headmaster, I kind of understand."
There was no reason for Andy not to believe it.
Whether it was Andy's own Patronus Charm or the magic Lily had left on Harry - they both proved it.
And what Andy had studied so painstakingly for years - the subject of the mind and magic - when the research came down to it, everything seemed to point to love.
Andy thought that if he hadn't been fooled, then that conclusion was the right one.
Love was the most powerful magic of all.
Dumbledore was somewhat relieved.
Just look at it, look at what it means to be a magic genius.
How many people, throughout their lives, have never been able to comprehend this?
Even Snape!
He personally had a love that was engraved in his heart, but he could never believe that love was the most powerful magic of all.
Every time Dumbledore and Snape talked about this topic, Snape would always have a look of contempt - old thing, you're fucking fooling me.
Now look at Andy Collins.
At a young age, he already understands love and also understands that love is the greatest magic.
He's going to be the future of the magic world!
Andy stopped talking and instead walked towards the great hall while pondering this question in his mind.
Dumbledore also walked quietly.
To be fair, it seemed like there was nothing wrong with saying that love was the most powerful magic on the surface.
But in reality, love cannot bring power.
At the very least, it wasn't intuitively powerful.
According to the values in the Harry Potter novels ... even if Andy hadn't read the latter parts, he had a few guesses in his heart - He believed that Harry had relied on 'love' to defeat Voldemort.
But in the end, it was still the influence of the mind on magic power.
Because love itself is a kind of mind power.
But unlike the direct increase of negativity on dark magic, love doesn't intuitively increase the power of magic - it doesn't actually boost your power.
It is simply a form of belief.
The patronus charm is special ... Instead of saying that patronus is a fusion of happy memories and magic power, it should be said that it is a fusion of love and magic power.
Because those happy memories all originated from love.
Andy had a realization in his heart.
The old Headmaster was not exactly fooling Andy, but Andy was indeed fooled and stumped initially.
Dumbledore's theory was not suitable for other people.
But it was quite suitable for Andy.
Walking to the entrance of the great hall, Andy and Dumbledore met Snape, who had just walked up from the underground floor.
Snape froze when he saw the two of them, and then said with a sneer, "Talking to your brilliant student again?"
Dumbledore glanced sideways at Andy and said with a faint smile, "I think ... Mr. Collins has a pretty good gain."
Andy smiled and said, "Professor Snape, Headmaster Dumbledore and I were just talking about magic."
"Oh?"
Snape was not surprised and sneered, "Did your great Headmaster tell you that love is the most powerful magic?"
Dumbledore smiled and looked at Andy.
"Love is supposed to be the most powerful magic!"
Andy spread his hands, "In fact, just a few minutes ago, I was unimpressed by this. But now I've had an epiphany ... All magic power stems from love."
Snape: "..."
Confundus Charm? An Imperius Curse? Or memory modification?
Snape looked first at Andy, and then at Dumbledore ... The two men's expressions were amazingly consistent: love is the most powerful magic, and we've both had an epiphany.
How about you?
