"Never mind, all in all, it's good that the operation went well."
Andy didn't dwell on it too much.
Instead of trying to guess Snape's thoughts, it was better to carefully recall tonight's action and see if there were any oversights.
"No fingerprints or footprints were left behind, and the odour has been dealt with, plus the invisibility of the Disillusionment Charm ..."
"Oh yeah, no hair loss either."
Andy repeatedly combed through it a few times, and after realizing that there were no omissions, he was truly relieved.
Looking at the potion materials in his hand, Andy deliberated for a moment and finally decided to wait for the wind to pass before coming back to the Room of Requirement to make the Veritaserum.
Especially, since it was already too late now.
There were still classes to attend tomorrow.
Back in his dormitory, Andy lay quietly on his bed, but his mind recalled the image he had seen last night - Snape's name, disappearing from the Marauder's Map.
He had left the castle!
It was reasonable to say that it was actually a normal thing for a professor to leave the castle. They were adults and inevitably had their own personal things to do.
But what kind of person was Snape?
Did he have friends? Did he have personal things to do?
What's more, Snape had left the castle at around ten o'clock at night.
Who would be looking for him that late?
He couldn't have gone to meet his lover privately, could he?
Andy didn't believe it!
If Snape had the intention to find a lover, Snape wouldn't have had that murderous look on his face when Andy introduced his aunt to him.
"It's a big secret...!" Andy showed a puzzled expression.
After mulling it over for a few moments, he ended up being a bit clueless.
The clues were too few.
Although this matter was suspicious, it lacked key clues that pointed in the right direction.
"Let's wait and see!"
Andy muttered, closing his eyes and preparing to sleep.
***
The next morning, nothing happened in the castle.
It wasn't until noon, when the young wizards from Potions class came into the Great Hall for lunch, that Andy heard a bit of wind.
"Is Snape out of his mind? He deducted over twenty points from us Gryffindors today!"
"Merlin's beard! I can't believe it, when did brushing teeth affect the effectiveness of boiling potions?"
"Snape is staring at us like we're burglars today."
"George, Fred, have you two been up to something again?"
"Definitely not us!"
Andy mourned three seconds of silence for the Gryffindors in his heart.
Who would have thought that Gryffindor and Slytherin would be in Potion class together this morning?
Slytherin was Snape's true love, so there was nothing he could do but take it out on Gryffindor.
Andy didn't budge and followed the crowd to watch the fun, and Hermione beside him suspiciously sized Andy up several times.
The little witch remembered that Andy wanted to steal Snape's potion materials some time ago.
Coincidentally, the Weasley twins also knew about it.
They even sponsored the Marauder's Map for this.
The Weasley twins turned their heads at the same time to look at Andy, who shook his head slightly invisibly, indicating that he had not acted yet.
Seeing Andy look like he was watching and knew nothing about the matter, the Weasley twins were somewhat persuaded.
"I've heard the news that Potion materials were stolen from Snape's office, just last night."
Someone in the crowd said something, and Andy felt his asshole tighten.
Luckily, both George and Fred were kind enough to not look at Andy after hearing this.
Andy nodded his head, worthy of being a repeat offender, they have some experience.
In contrast, a certain Miss-Know-it-all was not so experienced. She glared viciously at Andy several times, in a manner that made Andy give her a clear explanation.
Andy tugged at the little witch and gave her a 'stop it' look.
The little witch grunted lightly.
The crowd clamoured and speculated about which hero had given up his life and dared to ruffle Snape's feathers.
Gryffindor even loudly announced that the person who stole the potion materials was the hero of Gryffindor.
Furious, Slytherin House almost fought them.
Marcus Flint of Slytherin likewise loudly declared, "Who on earth stole Professor Snape's potion materials, you better come forward yourself! If we find out, I'll make you suffer."
After saying that, Marcus Flint also raised his big elbow as if demonstrating.
"Let's go!"
Andy pulled Hermione a bit and whispered, "Let's go outside and talk."
Hermione nodded slightly and followed Andy.
Arriving outside the castle, Hermione instantly couldn't help but ask, "Did you really do this? Geez! I thought you were just saying it. Andy, it's illegal to use Truth Potion!"
"No..."
Andy just wanted to deny it, but after seeing the little witch's angry expression, he could only say helplessly, "Well, it was me."
Seeing that Hermione was still going to speak, Andy jumped ahead and explained, "Of all the classes at Hogwarts, it's only the Defense Against the Dark Arts class that can't be self-taught."
The Defense Against the Dark Arts class, to put it bluntly, was a class that taught the young wizards how to protect themselves.
How to deal with dark magic creatures was just one of the contents of this course.
Identifying and defending against dark wizards, including how to deal with some dangerous dark magic, were all contents of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
If the professor was willing, he could even teach the young wizards how to fight.
A lot of the knowledge here couldn't be learned from books.
That was an experience.
It was like this: you found a recipe on the internet and memorized it, but could you make the dish perfectly?
Defence Against the Dark Arts is like that.
What was the use of just reading a book without actually doing it?
Andy continued, "Hermione, you know my ideal, I only have seven years to study, I can't let an incompetent professor waste one of those years."
"Besides, didn't the subsequent Professor Down teach us well after we drove Quirrell away last year?"
Hermione was silent for a moment, then looked at Andy with a serious expression, "If anyone finds out, you'll be expelled."
"Just don't let them find out then." Andy laughed.
"Hmph!"
The little witch huffed and snorted lightly, purposely bumped Andy and walked towards the castle with a sulky look on her face.
Andy shrugged his shoulders and followed behind with a helpless face.
When she walked to the entrance of the castle, the little witch's body suddenly froze.
Snape, who had his potion materials stolen, was currently standing at the entrance of the castle, his eyes dangerously sizing up Andy.
Fearing that Hermione's inexperience would reveal a flaw, Andy quickly stepped forward and lightly smiled, "Good noon, Professor Snape."
"Good noon ... Mr. Collins ... and Miss Granger."
Snape kept the same slow, unhurried tone and said in a soft whisper, "It seems I've frightened you both."
"You think so?"
Andy asked rhetorically, then quickly said, "I heard your office was burgled? What a pity, I wonder if you have found any clues? Do you need my help?"
Snape looked at Andy, "There's already a clue ..."
