Hermione examined the lavatory carefully and finally found the Slytherin mark on the tap of the sink.
It was a snake, the symbol of Slytherin House!
Andy waited for about fifteen minutes before he saw the young witch run over with a flustered look on her face.
"Andy, I found it ..." The little witch panted.
"Shhh-"
Andy put up a finger in front of his mouth and whispered, "Let's go talk outside the castle, it's not very safe here."
"Not safe?" Hermione looked around with a puzzled look on her face.
How could it be unsafe in the castle?
Andy led Hermione towards the outside of the castle while explaining, "I found out that the portraits and ghosts in the castle are most likely Headmaster Dumbledore's informants."
Andy said it bluntly, not caring at all if that statement would be heard by one of the portraits or ghosts in the castle.
"It can't be, can it?" Hermione was a little surprised.
"Defence is essential."
Andy said solemnly, "Anyway, there's been a bit of a misunderstanding between Headmaster Dumbledore and me. I have to guard against him now."
Hermione looked at Andy with an odd expression on her face, "You got caught by the Headmaster on a night out?"
"How could I?"
Andy snorted, "Can Headmaster Dumbledore catch me?"
Do you believe that?
"So not only have you been on a night out, but you've been caught by Headmaster Dumbledore?"
The little witch discovered the truth, "Otherwise, I don't think there would have been a run-in between you and Headmaster Dumbledore."
After all, she and Andy were together most of the time during the day.
Andy: "..."
A high IQ isn't a good thing sometimes!
Andy wisely chose to ignore this topic, and the little witch didn't continue to pursue it.
Anyway, as long as they didn't lose points from Ravenclaw, the night out didn't seem to be a big deal.
Walking outside the castle, Andy opened the door and asked, "Hermione, what did you find in the lavatory?"
"I found the Slytherin mark."
Hermione gathered her thoughts and said, "After entering the lavatory, I met Myrtle and asked her about what happened when she died."
"According to Myrtle, before she died she heard the sound of someone talking, and it was a boy. Just as Myrtle pushed open the door to the toilet cubicle to see who it was, she saw a pair of yellow eyes."
"We were right before, the monster in the chamber was the Basilisk!"
When she said this, Hermione looked at Andy with a twinkle in her eyes.
The secret that had plagued Hogwarts for so many years, the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets that even Dumbledore hadn't discovered, had just been easily cracked by Andy.
Hermione continued, "I found the snake's mark on the tap in the sink, and that might be the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets."
Taking a deep breath, Hermione looked at Andy with some uneasiness, "Andy, if the monster in the secret room is a Basilisk, it is by no means something we can deal with. Anyone, who sees the eyes of the Basilisk, will be killed by it."
Andy smiled with some excitement.
After hearing Hermione's words, Andy deliberated for a moment and spoke, "The Basilisk's weakness is the sound of a rooster's crow, which I had already prepared for before."
"As for the boy Myrtle heard talking ... if I'm right, that would be Voldemort from his student days."
Andy frowned in contemplation.
Voldemort should have gone to the Chamber of Secrets alone, so ... who would he have been talking to?
After some thought, Andy asked, "Hermione, does Myrtle remember what the boy said?"
Hermione shook her head and said, "She only heard talking."
Andy's expression shifted and changed.
"What?" Hermione asked.
"Remember how we speculated a few ways to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets earlier?" Andy asked rhetorically.
"Hmm!"
Hermione nodded, "I remember you saying that the way to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets would be either the Slytherin bloodline or the Parselmouth ability."
"You mean ..."
Hermione obviously realised as well, "The way to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is Parseltongue?"
Andy nodded, "The lavatory is a very empty environment, Myrtle was hiding in the toilet cubicle, if someone was talking, even if they were talking very quietly, she should be able to hear some of it."
Hermione recalled the environment of the lavatory and realised that it was indeed a very empty environment, as Andy had said.
Any little movement could be heard very clearly, even with the door closed.
The only explanation for why Myrtle didn't hear what the boy said was - he wasn't speaking in the human tongue.
For some reason, Hermione was suddenly relieved.
"If the way to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets is a Parseltongue, we can't get in, can we?" Hermione asked.
Andy was speechless, "Actually, neither way is something I can handle."
The Gaunt family, the descendants of Slytherin, was now largely extinct.
This stupid bastard family was popular for inbreeding, and as a result, one generation was more pitiful than the other, and after that, they played themselves to death.
Nowadays, the only remaining descendants of the Gaunt family, besides Voldemort, maybe the only one left is Gormlaith Gaunt's side who established the Ilvermorny magic school, right?
It was also unknown if she had any descendants left behind.
So, whether it was the Slytherin bloodline or the Parseltongue ability, it wasn't something Andy could handle.
Of course, some things just couldn't be told to Hermione.
Andy had seen the Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone film, and after crossing over, Andy had recalled the film back and forth several times.
At the beginning of the film, Harry has spoken to a snake.
So ... Harry Potter is a Parselmouth.
He was the key to unlock the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets.
Besides, the second part of the film was the Chamber of Secrets, and if Harry Potter couldn't unlock the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, then the second part couldn't be made.
Because of this, Andy had already thought of a way to enter the Chamber of Secrets from the very beginning.
Now, it was up to Andy to trick Harry.
Hermione looked at Andy and tried, "Perhaps, we can tell Professor Dumbledore about this. Think about it, a Basilisk is living in the castle, and it threatens our lives at all times."
"Hermione, I want to try."
Andy sighed and negotiated, "Give me a term, and if I still can't handle it after Christmas break, we'll tell Headmaster Dumbledore together."
Hermione pursed her lips for a moment before nodding softly, "Alright then! But you have to promise me that if you find a way to open the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets, you absolutely can't go in there alone."
"Of course!"
Andy chuckled at her words, "I'm very concerned about my own little life."
Hermione hummed lightly, "Come on! Let's go to the library. I want to look up the records of the Basilisk."
