A little while later, Professor McGonagall led the first-year freshmen into the great hall.
Looking at the group of apprehensive freshmen, Andy laughed gleefully, "Did we look like that last year?"
At the mention of this matter of sorting, Hermione huffed and poked Andy in the waist. She remembered how Andy had lied to her last year, causing her to worry since on the train.
"What are you doing?" Andy had a puzzled look on his face.
She's only twelve years old, it's not time for menopause, is it?
"Hmph!" The little witch tilted her chin and gestured in the direction of the first years.
Andy looked back and said with a laugh, "It's been a year, why are you still holding a grudge?"
Hermione was also a little embarrassed, but still said with a stiff tongue, "I can remember it for the rest of my life!"
Andy threw up his hands in surrender.
When the Sorting Hat finished singing a song, which it had personally arranged and composed the lyrics, the Sorting officially began.
Of the freshmen in this session, Andy only knew two people.
One was Ron's sister, Ginny Weasley. The other was Andy's neighbour, Luna Lovegood.
According to the gossip in his previous life, Ginny seemed to have married Harry at the end, he didn't know if it was true or not.
In fact, in terms of Western aesthetics, Ginny Weasley did look pretty. It has to be said that Ron is actually a friend worth making.
When the sorting was done, Andy took the time to look at the professor's seat.
The professor of this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts class was the big name in the magic world, Gilderoy Lockhart.
Andy had investigated his information.
Lockhart was an internationally renowned writer, recipient of the Order of Merlin, Third Class; and an Honorary member of the Dark Force Defence League.
He is a man of great achievements.
With all these honours, he was much more influential than even Snape.
Moreover, Lockhart was handsome and had a kind smile, and at the moment was chatting with Professor Flitwick about something.
Compared to Snape's gloomy, greasy state, he was completely different.
Andy was somewhat looking forward to this year's Defence Against the Dark Arts class.
It was just that for some reason, Professor Flitwick's face looked impatient, and the look he gave to Lockhart had dislike written all over it.
After the sorting, Dumbledore spoke briefly for a couple of minutes before leaving the Great Hall with Professor McGonagall.
"What are you looking at?"
Noticing that Andy was a bit distracted, Hermione followed Andy's gaze, "Are you looking at Professor Lockhart? He's amazing, isn't he? He's done so many amazing things."
"I just wish he could teach me something useful," Andy said with a nod.
If those 'autobiographical novels' of Lockhart were true stories, then he was indeed an amazing wizard.
"Hey! Do you guys think that the famous Saviour Harry Potter, and his henchmen, will be expelled from school this time?"
Someone at the Ravenclaw long table blurted out suddenly.
Andy turned his head to look, not too familiar, he should be a third-year senior.
"He truly wants to attract attention, he ran out for a night out when he was a first year, and now he even drives a flying car to school, I don't know how many points will be deducted from Gryffindor this time."
"It's a good thing he didn't come to our Ravenclaw."
"..."
Several people on the train had seen the car Harry and Ron were driving, someone had started a conversation and instantly there was a lot of chatter.
"How boring!" Hermione complained in a small voice.
Andy shrugged, "It's because it's boring that they talk about these things. If they had something to do, they wouldn't have this free time."
"Andy, you always see right through things."
A slightly ethereal voice rang out, Andy turned his head to look and smiled, "Luna? Welcome to Ravenclaw."
After saying that, Andy introduced Hermione, "Hermione, this is Luna, Luna Lovegood, my neighbour. Luna, this is ..."
"Hermione Granger!"
Without waiting for Andy to finish, Luna jumped in and said, "I've heard Isabel talk about you. Hello, I'm Luna."
"Hello, Luna!" Hermione nodded at Luna, her eyes sweeping over the accessories on Luna with some surprise.
It was the first time Hermione had ever seen someone make a necklace out of a butterbeer cork and wear it around their neck.
Luna looked down, "I find it pretty."
As the words left her mouth, Luna returned to her trance-like state, humming an odd tune as she ate her dinner, looking rather self-satisfied.
Hermione leaned closer to Andy and whispered, "Andy, she..."
"Is she a bit weird? Not a bad person, though." Andy said.
After dinner, Andy followed the other Ravenclaws back to the common room.
After chatting with his roommate about his summer holiday, Andy took a shower, changed into his pyjamas and lay on his bed.
Nine forty.
"Anthony? Terry? Michael ...," Andy called in a lowered voice.
"Anyone not asleep?"
"..."
Seeing his three roommates sleeping like dead pigs, Andy changed into his wizard robe, grabbed his wand, and sneaked out of the dormitory.
The Astronomy Tower was not far from the Ravenclaw Tower.
Andy stomped up the stairs to the Astronomy Tower, Hermione hadn't arrived yet, so Andy found a spot to sit on the floor and looked up at the night sky, his mind was at peace.
"Twelve years!" Andy sighed.
Ever since he received the acceptance letter from Hogwarts, Andy had put all his energy into the study of magic.
Now that he was quiet, Andy had quite a feeling that time passed quickly.
"Tsk!" Andy suddenly skimmed his mouth.
He thought of how he had asked the old headmaster to come to the Astronomy Tower to look at the stars last year, only to be rejected by that awful old man.
It's only been a year, and he asked out a girl friend to come.
Where was the old headmaster?
I'm afraid he's lying alone in bed at the moment, sleeping alone, right?
What does it mean to be a winner in life?
"Andy...?"
In no time at all, Andy heard Hermione's voice.
"You're there?"
Andy looked back and greeted, "Come sit here, it's a nice night, and the stars are bright."
Hermione ran over and sat next to Andy, looking up at the night stars together.
"I didn't realise you had this kind of leisure time," Hermione said with a surprised look on her face.
"You have to relax once in a while!" Andy put his hands behind his head, and his whole body directly lay down.
It was rare to be so quiet, and Hermione didn't ask what that secret about Hogwarts and Voldemort really was.
"Andy!"
"Hmm?"
"... It's okay."
"Ha! It's just the two of us here, so you can say whatever you want." Andy said lazily under his breath.
"I'm just a little curious ..."
Hermione looked back and said with some hesitation, "I get the feeling...you don't take a lot of things seriously. You know, it's that kind of, well ... I can't really describe it quite well, but it just feels like you're different from everyone else."
Andy smiled at her words, "Of course I'm different; as far I know, there aren't two exactly the same people in this world."
