Snape didn't dwell on it, "How is Lucius going to get that thing in here? If it was something left by the Dark Lord, I believe, he wouldn't give it to Draco."
At that, Snape thought of the Defence Against the Dark Arts class professor for the next term.
The curse is present.
Maybe next term's Defence Against the Dark Arts professor would die because of it.
"Have you investigated Lockhart?" Snape asked directly.
Dumbledore hesitated for a moment.
It was true that he had hired Lockhart for some personal purposes, but Lockhart and Lucius Malfoy ... should be unrelated, right?
"During this time, I will have someone keep a close eye on Lucius."
Dumbledore said, "If Lucius really sent that dark magic item to Hogwarts, it would be a big favour to us."
Snape's expression relaxed considerably as well.
No matter what Voldemort had left behind, that item would definitely be found since it had been sent to Hogwarts.
Once the secret of Voldemort's immortality was cracked, he wouldn't be so scary anymore.
Dumbledore should be able to defeat Voldemort...right?
Snape gave Dumbledore a suspicious look.
This old punk!

Andy waited for two days in a row, Snape's reply was still nowhere in sight, but he did get a reply from Hermione.
Hermione happily agreed to Andy's offer to go to Diagon Alley together to buy textbooks, while at the same time sternly refusing the rude request to help Andy with his homework.
The young witch made it clear with conviction that she would never help Andy write a single word. If Andy doesn't do his homework, he'll be waiting for a scolding next term!
However, the little witch was a little hesitant about the small request of lending her homework to Andy for 'reference'.
Andy showed his teeth and was happy.
The matter of copying homework was considered a done deal.
As for Snape's reply, Andy never expected it either.
Snape was never a well-spoken person.
Telling Snape about Dobby's matter was a decision Andy had made after careful consideration.
Whatever Lucius Malfoy was trying to do, it had to be very dangerous.
But as long as Dumbledore was watching, Andy could happily raid the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets.
Dumbledore gets what he wants, and Andy gets the Chamber of Secrets.
It's called a win-win situation!

A day later, Andy cleaned up properly, looked in front of the mirror for a while, and after making sure there was no problem, he pushed open the door of his room and walked downstairs.
Seeing Isabel curled up on the sofa, glaring at him with a puffed-up face, Andy couldn't help but ask with amusement, "Issa, are you sure you don't want to go with me?"
Without waiting for Isabel to speak, Helen said seriously, "No! The magic world is not like the muggle world, you can still take care of yourself alone, but letting Isa go with you is too dangerous."
Isabel muttered in dissatisfaction, "Mum! It's not like we're going to Knockturn Alley, how could it be dangerous!"
"When I say no, I mean no!" Helen said seriously.
Andy smiled smugly at Isabel and shrugged theatrically, "That's a shame, isn't it?"
Grabbing a handful of Floo powder and walking into the fireplace, Andy sprinkled it down while reciting, "Diagon Alley!"
Boom!
A ghostly green flame ignited, and Andy's entire body instantly disappeared.
Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour.
Andy ordered a cup of vanilla-flavoured ice cream and took small bites while waiting for Hermione to arrive.
After waiting for about fifteen minutes, the door of the ice cream shop was pushed open.
Hermione glanced around the shop, rushed over to Andy and said pleasantly, "Hi, Andy."
"Long time no see, Hermione!"
Seeing the person following Hermione, Andy's expression was slightly more formal, "Hello, Mr Granger."
Mr Granger's expression wasn't that pleasant when he saw Andy. He nodded stiffly and hesitantly, "I've heard Hermione mention you for a while now, how do you do, Mr Collins."
"You can just call me Andy," Andy said in a hurry.
He might be his future father-in-law, so Andy didn't dare to leave a bad impression on him.
Pulling out the chairs for Hermione and Mr Granger to sit down, Andy said, "Let's have a bite first, and then we'll go buy next school year's textbooks later. What flavour of ice cream do you guys like?"
"You two eat it!"
Mr Granger said, "I've just had a dental treatment, so I can't have cold treats for a while."
"I'll have the chocolate flavour."
Hermione wondered, "Andy, is there any difference between ice cream in the wizarding world and mine?"
Mr Florean walked over with a cup of chocolate-flavoured ice cream and said with a smile, "The ice cream in our shop has some special magic potions added to it, as for the effect ... the young lady will know when she tastes it."
Andy glanced at Mr Florean with annoyance, damn you for talking too much.
A little bit of foresight is not there, you deserve to have bad business!
Hermione picked up the spoon and tasted a mouthful, her whole body shivered involuntarily, and a small smile appeared on her face.
"Is there an elixir of euphoria in it?" Hermione asked curiously.
"It's a modified version of the elixir of euphoria."
Andy explained, "On top of that, it keeps you cool for a long time. After eating ice cream, you won't feel hot even if you hang out for an hour."
"Is this an effect of magic?" Mr Granger asked.
"It's the effect of a magic potion."
Hermione said, "It tastes pretty good, Dad, are you sure you don't want to try it?"
Mr Granger said slightly helplessly, "You know, I just finished my dental work. But when we go back, I'd like to buy two bottles of wine from the magic world."
Andy was curious, "Is there something wrong with your teeth?"
"I work as a dentist, and my teeth are my signature, they must be maintained regularly." Mr Granger explained.
Andy nodded in understanding.
If a dentist had bad teeth, who would trust his skills?
After chatting with Hermione about her recent life and eating ice cream, the three of them went to the Flourish and Blotts Bookseller and purchased the textbooks for the next academic year.
Hermione also purchased a few extra books beyond the curriculum.
"That ..."
While Mr Granger was reading a book on the magic world, Andy pulled Hermione aside and whispered, "Hermione, I really forgot there was such a thing as homework, can you help me ..."
"Don't even think about it!" Hermione refused rhetorically.
"Then why don't you lend me your homework?"
Andy said cheekily, "There aren't many days left until school starts, so I'm afraid I won't be able to make it in time if I write it myself."
Hermione glared at Andy without good humour, "The homework is very simple, it's just a few papers, with your level it's very easy to finish it."
"Hermione~"
Seeing Hermione's stubbornness, Andy had to take out his master stroke and pouted, "Please lend me your homework~"
Hermione took a deep breath, the whole person involuntarily shivered, "That's enough!"
Andy looked at Hermione and winked.
"Fine! Just this once."
Hermione compromised, "And you have to do your own homework for next school year!"
