Chapter 138 - Chapter 138: It's Really Cool to Burst up power level

Tumbling around on the ground again, before Andy got up, he aimed his wand at Kyle.

"Expelliarmus!"

Without looking at the result of the spell, Andy made another lunge forward, dodging the Stunning Spell that Helen had shot at him.

"Protego!"

After getting up, Andy first mended his Shield Charm and then used a spell to counterattack while running.

That's it?

Andy's mind wandered a bit.

Was he already this strong?

Although both Kyle and Helen didn't use spells with too much killing power, Andy didn't use his full strength either!

After all, it was just a practice session with his family, Andy didn't even use the Smashing spell.

Smashing spell is also a highly destructive spell, once hit by the spell, it is possible to be blown into bits and pieces.

The three of them fought and struggled, and the only spells they used to attack were Disarming Charm, Stunning Spell, and Full Body-Bind Curse, which were not very lethal spells.

It was described as a duelling practice, but it wasn't even close to a proper, solid duel.

However ...

Andy pondered in his heart, 'The physical strength consumption is too much, if it continues like this, I might lose.'

I can only try to burst up the spell power.

Andy immediately adjusted his mindset, his eyes quickly glanced at Kyle, and his mind constantly hinted to himself, 'I'm going to defeat him, I'm going to defeat him, I'm going to defeat him!!!!'

When the [Mind] attribute was added to [5], Andy could mobilize his emotional power extremely quickly.

With just a slight hint in his mind, Andy felt that his heart was filled with the desire to win.

"Protego!"

"Expelliarmus!"

Andy cast two magic spells in a row, and the wand in his hand quickly pointed at Kyle.

As for Helen ...

Andy still had to rely on boiling magic potions to earn pocket money, at this time, Andy didn't dare to offend his financial mommy.

But hitting Kyle wouldn't have this heartbreak.

A small arm thick red magic beam shot out from the tip of Andy's wand.

Kyle didn't think much about it, he just calmly added a Shield Charm to himself, and then he planned to fight back against Andy.

After not being able to take Andy down for such a long time, Kyle also felt that he had lost his dignity as a father.

Bang!

"What?"

Kyle only had time to exclaim in shock before he watched Andy's Disarming Charm tear through his Shield Charm and send his entire body backwards.

The wand dislodged and fell to the side of the clearing.

Bang!

Helen's spell hit Andy's Shield Charm and was bounced to the side.

"This ..."

The sudden change caught Helen a little off guard. She didn't continue to fight anymore, she just looked at Andy with some shock.

How come, after only a semester of absence, this brat has become so powerful?

Obviously, during the Christmas break, she was still able to play Andy in the palm of her hand.

How did he become so strong?

"Hoo-"

Andy breathed a sigh of relief.

In fact, Andy knew very well in his heart that he had indeed become stronger, but the thing he had gotten stronger was not his magic attainments, but his duelling skills.

The key to truly affecting the victory or defeat of this duel was actually the [Mind] attribute, which was as high as [5] points.

This attribute seemed like it was of little use, but once it was brought into play, that explosive power could definitely give everyone a headache.

As for Kyle and Helen...they just have the strength of a normal adult wizard.

Although they had practised duelling techniques during their student days, they hadn't practised magic for over a decade since they graduated.

Under these circumstances, it was considered good that their strength didn't regress.

For many spells, they were only at the level of 'knowing how to use them', which was not considered proficient at all.

"Brat, not bad strength!"

Kyle slowly got up, patted the dust on his body, and said in a somewhat irritated tone, "How did your disarming charm... suddenly grow in power?"

Andy picked up the wand and handed it to Kyle, explaining with a smile, "By utilizing the power of emotions! When you are extremely eager to defeat or disarm your opponent, the power of the Disarming Charm will increase drastically."

Kyle froze.

The words were true, but there were simply not many people who could truly do this.

How many people did not have fear in their hearts during a life-and-death battle?

Once there was fear in the heart, what was there to say about defeating the opponent?

Even if it was just a duelling practice, what Kyle was thinking about was how to deal with Andy's magic and how to counterattack.

With so many thoughts in his mind, there was no way to focus his emotions.

Kyle had even seen many newbies who had no duelling experience, and when faced with a life-and-death battle, these people's minds would pretty much go blank.

Not to mention focusing, they even forgot to use magic.

Why did Death Eaters have such a great reputation?

It was because they wanted to kill, the killing curse shone in their hands.

As for the ordinary wizards in the magic world?

Those ordinary wizards who hadn't even experienced a few duels would probably be scared silly when faced with the vicious and infamous Death Eaters, right?

To put it simply, they hadn't undergone special training.

In the entire magic world, except for Aurors and Hit Wizards, the remaining more than ninety percent of wizards, besides being able to use magic, were actually no different from muggles.

"Tsk, tsk, Andy, you are really impressive!"

Helen teased, "Even Kyle is no match for you now."

Kyle's face darkened at her words, "I was just being lenient with him. If I were to get serious, this kid would never last more than three moves."

Yes, yes, yes, you are right about everything.

Andy didn't dare to refute it at all.

These two people are not in tune tonight, it can't be a fight, right?

"Andy, are you going to continue practising?" Helen asked.

"Uh-huh!"

Andy nodded, "It's not even eight o'clock yet, I'll go back to sleep at ten."

"Don't be too late," Helen instructed, turning around and walking out of the practice room.

Kyle glared at Andy with some irritation, "Go to bed early and get up early tomorrow morning. You're twelve years old, what's the point of sleeping in day after day? Getting up even later than your sister."

Andy didn't dare to squeak.

When Kyle left, Andy was puzzled.

What the hell did these two folks want to do in the end?

"That's it!"

"Scourgify!"

Cleaning up the dust on his body, Andy adjusted his emotions, and then softly recited the incantation, "Expecto Patronum!"

The fat cat patronus looked around, then happily circled around Andy twice.

Seeing that his patronus was still so spiritual, Andy instantly let go of his worries.

This was followed by a grimace.

If you don't have any abilities, what were you fooling around for just now?

I really thought that you could rebound the curse.

Isn't that cheating on people's feelings?

Andy stretched out his left hand, and the fat cat patronus consciously placed its paw on Andy's hand.

"What should we do next?"

Andy frowned slightly.

That duelling exercise just now was not useless, it proved at least one thing.

That was: although the Patronus appeared to have mutated, it did not affect Andy.

The Patronus hadn't changed, and Andy's spellcasting ability hadn't changed either.

"What the hell are you good at?"
