Chapter 85 - Chapter 85 The Curse of Defense Against the Dark Arts Class Comes True

"Andy, you can't go on like this."

Inside the quiet classroom, Hermione's slightly helpless voice rang out.

"There's an exam coming up soon, we should be studying now! Instead of practising magic or reading books that have nothing to do with exams."

The little witch flushed red and looked at Andy with a slight reproach in her gaze.

"It's just an exam, do you still need to review?" Andy shut down the system, and his tone similarly carried a few points of helplessness.

Andy had only heard of premarital anxiety, and postpartum anxiety, and had never heard of pre-test anxiety.

And there's also a long time to go.

"You wouldn't just want an A (Acceptable), do you?"

Hermione looked at Andy and said, "It's not that easy to get an O (Outstanding) in an exam."

As early as half a month ago, Hermione was preoccupied with her revision.

As the date of the exam got closer and closer, Hermione became more and more anxious.

Andy was tempted to say that getting an A is actually quite good.

However, considering the little witch's values, Andy still changed his rhetoric, "The opportunity to practice magic is rare, so I'll be reviewing in my dorm room at night. There are still three months until the exam, there shouldn't be any problem dealing with the written exam."

In Hogwarts' coursework, Andy belonged to the practical camp, with extremely strong practical skills, but the theory was on the weak side.

Andy's memory was average, and he would only memorise key points when reading books, so if it was a written exam, Andy really wasn't sure that he could get O.

Moreover, Andy didn't care much about the Hogwarts exams.

What Andy pursued was power and immortality, not exam results and the House Cup.

But Andy wouldn't impose his ideas on others.

Although Hermione was smart, she wasn't really different from the other young wizards in the school. The purpose of their schooling was to find a decent job after graduation.

Kids, always think idealistically.

"I envy you!"

Hearing Andy say this, Hermione, in turn, revealed an envious expression, "There's still a big gap between my Charms and Transfiguration compared to you, I can't even dare to imagine what it would be like if I fail the exam. How disappointed Professor Flitwick would be if I only got an E (Exceeds Expectations)."

Andy: "..."

A hundred points out of a hundred and a ninety-nine on a test is the same as failing?

If those academic scumbags heard you, they would beat you to death.

"With your current level, even if you take the exam tomorrow, you will still be able to get O's in all subjects."

Andy spoke the truth.

Hermione had memorised all the textbooks before entering school and had been practising magic with Andy during this time, plus the explanations from the Professors of each subject...

Getting O was child's play.

"It's getting late, let's go to the Great Hall for dinner!" Andy suggested.

Hermione looked at the sky outside the window and nodded her head obediently, "Okay!"

The Great Hall was as lively as ever.

The injuries on Harry and Ron were a thing of the past, and now the most discussed topic amongst the students was Quidditch.

Looking at the current record, Gryffindor was in first place, followed by Slytherin, and Ravenclaw was at the bottom, completely out of the picture for this year's Quidditch championship.

Next month there is a match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, a crucial match that will determine the winner to fight with Gryffindor for the final title.

The Quidditch Cup rivalry had led to a sharp deterioration in relations between the three houses, and there was always a smell of gunpowder when the three houses were together.

As for Ravenclaw, who was at the bottom of the ladder... they were as well-liked as ever.

While eating dinner, a few senior young wizards suddenly ran into the Great Hall in a panic, shouting as they ran, "The Forbidden Forest is on fire! The Forbidden Forest is on fire!"

What the heck?

With a question mark on his face, Andy hurriedly got up and looked in the direction of the Gryffindor long table.

Thankfully, Harry was still there.

"What's going on?"

The young wizards were both nervous and excited.

Nervous because something had happened at Hogwarts, and excited because the location of the accident was far away from them, and they could eat in peace.

Some bold young wizards wanted to run out to see what was going on, but they were blocked at the entrance of the great hall by the rushing Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor Flitwick and others.

"All go back and sit down!"

Professor McGonagall's tone was stern, "Heads, count the students from each house and see who's not in the Great Hall."

"Severus, Filius, I'll leave the great hall side to you, while the other professors and I patrol the castle to see if there are any more students not in the Great Hall."

Snape nodded slightly and gave a soft 'hmm'.

He was in a downright terrible mood right now.

As one of the few people in Hogwarts who knew the truth, Snape naturally guessed who set the fire in the Forbidden Forest.

It was because he knew that he was in an awful mood right now.

He still knew a few things about Voldemort, and the fact that Voldemort was so reckless could only mean that his patience was about to run out.

A Voldemort who had lost his patience was undoubtedly extremely dangerous.

Especially...Voldemort is in the Forbidden Forest outside of Hogwarts Castle at this very moment.

Snape couldn't help but feel anxious at the thought.

Seeing the chaos in the great hall, Snape took out his wand and pointed it at his neck, "Quiet! Everyone, take your seats immediately!"

Andy glanced at the team of professors.

Most of the professors in the school were there, only Professor Tony Down, who taught the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, wasn't there.

Andy didn't care at first, but on second thought, he felt that something wasn't quite right.

Professor Down had been teaching for more than half a year, and he was still considered a relatively responsible professor.

When something so big happened in the school, it was unlikely that he would hide and not come out.

Andy quickly made a judgment.

This big fire in the Forbidden Forest...

Professor Down had either caused trouble or something had happened to him.

Andy thought of the Defense Against the Dark Arts class curse, a curse that Dumbledore himself admitted did exist.

'Help yourself!' Andy silently mourned.

The professors had arrived, and the nervousness of the young wizards dissipated, and all that was left was excitement.

Everyone wanted to know what was really happening in the Forbidden Forest, only that no one dared to speak up at all due to Snape's presence.

The Heads quickly tallied up the number of people from each house, and there were quite a few people from each house who weren't in the Great Hall.

It was dinner time, but not all the young wizards would come to the Great Hall on time to eat. Some of the ones who had come early had even already finished eating and left the great hall.

After listening to the report from the Heads, Snape and Flitwick couldn't help but look at each other.

The two of them couldn't leave, and now they could only hope that Professor McGonagall could bring all the young wizards to the Great Hall.

Ravenclaw long table.

Hermione was a little worried, "The Forbidden Forest was fine, how did it suddenly catch fire?"

Andy mouthed, "Quirrell!"

By this time, Andy didn't want to hide it, or at least want the little witch to be mentally prepared.

That was a BOSS whose brain had been eaten by Voldemort, who knew what crazy things he would do in the case of crazy bouts.
