Chapter 76 - Chapter 76 Hermione, do you think I'm smart?

Hermione nodded, she had also read the story of Ms. Ravenclaw and her daughter and naturally agreed with Andy's words.

Reading books was obviously useless, otherwise the secrets here would have been deciphered a long time ago.

"But...what are we going to do?" Hermione asked.

"Well..." This question really stumped Andy.

The way to decipher the secret was obviously not to read the book, but if it had to do with kinship ... then what was to be done?

"Let's look for it first!" Andy suggested.

"Good!" Hermione naturally had no problem with that, and they quickly took action.

Andy looked along the bookshelves in order, the books here were all from Ms. Ravenclaw's private collection, although there were not many books that introduced magic, they were all precious classic books in the magical world.

Without a doubt, with Andy's level of magic, it was obvious that he couldn't detect the traces of magic here.

Then the only way to crack the secret was to fulfil Ms. Ravenclaw's requirements.

Andy tried to bring himself into Ms. Ravenclaw's train of thought.

First of all, when was this secret left behind?

Before her daughter ran away? Or after her daughter ran away?

And second, what was Ms. Ravenclaw's purpose in leaving behind this secret?

To give the young wizard more time to learn?

The answer to the first question could not be verified for the time being.

But the second question...Andy clearly did not think that Ms. Ravenclaw had left all this behind just so that the young wizard would have more time to read.

Though it did fit Ms. Ravenclaw's style.

And it was also true that the one who had cracked the secret had read all the books in the collection here in just one night.

But it was Time Magic!

Would Ms Ravenclaw have left such powerful time magic here just for the little wizard to read the books?

And these books were used as a pastime!

'Perhaps...the secrets that Ms. Ravenclaw wants people to know are hidden in these books.'

Andy suddenly brightened up, 'If this speculation is correct, then everything makes sense.'

Ms Ravenclaw had hidden a certain secret in the books, but the young wizard only had seven years of study and couldn't read all the hidden books here.

That was why Ms. Ravenclaw had left behind time magic so that the young wizard would have more time available to read the books.

'The books here are all about cultural heritage and legendary stories type, could it be that... Ms Ravenclaw was pursuing a certain legendary story in her lifetime, only to fall ill unexpectedly, so she entrusted the matter to her descendants?'

Thinking of this, Andy quickly said, "Hermione, I thought of something, you help me analyse it."

After listening to Andy's speculation, Hermione also had a serious look on her face.

Indeed, if Ms Ravenclaw's purpose of leaving time magic behind was just to let the young wizard finish reading the collection of books here, that would be too unreasonable.

But... what if there were certain secrets hidden in these books?

"Andy, there are so many books here, and there are so many stories recorded in the books, even if we read them all, it would still be hard to tell the truth from the lies inside, right?" Hermione suddenly said.

"Knowledge and wisdom are the symbols of Ravenclaw, and this may be the test that Ms. Ravenclaw has left for us."

Andy's eyes flashed, "Read all the books in the collection, distinguish between true and false stories, and find the secrets that Ms. Ravenclaw wants us to know."

Andy realized that those powerful wizards seemed to have pursued some legendary stories.

Grindelwald was searching for the Deathly Hallows, and he also met Dumbledore in Godric's Hollow, and the two became close friends.

Perhaps Dumbledore had searched for the Deathly Hallows as well.

Now it seems that Ms. Ravenclaw has also pursued certain legendary stories.

Of course, all of this presupposed that Andy's guess was correct.

The secret here was either for her daughter or for the ancient legends, one of the two must be the truth.

And the first person who discovered the secret here, the strange experience he gained, was merely reading all the hidden books in one night.

So Andy believed the latter more.

So...which book was it?

"I'll make a trip and return immediately."

Andy hurried to his dormitory and then ran back with the parchment and quill.

Andy waved his wand and as Andy cast the spell, the parchment automatically floated in the air and the quill scribbled on it.

Hermione looked over, "You're transcribing the titles of books?"

"Well...I'm going to go back and study it more closely."

Andy said, "Maybe there are some secrets hidden within the book's title."

After all, books in the wizarding world were named very straightforwardly.

Hermione ignored Andy as she took out a book and sat down to read it.

If it was just reading a book, Hermione was never afraid of anyone.

The Ravenclaw library didn't have too many books, and it took Andy over two hours to copy all the titles.

Sitting down across from Hermione, Andy studied the titles as they were written.

The Lives and Habits of Ancient Wizards.

The Untold Stories Merlin and I Had to Tell.

Famous Wizards of the Ancient Wizarding World and Their Stories

Secrets of the Wizarding World of Ancient Greece

Andy followed the titles of the books and checked them in order, except for a few books explaining magic, most of the books were related to the ancient magical world, other than that it was some poetry and prose.

'Judging from the time, these books are all thousands of years old.'

'In the era of the Four Bigs...'

Andy thought, 'That time was at the intersection of ancient and modern magic, modern simplified magic had not yet appeared, and Ms. Ravenclaw was considered the embodiment of wisdom...'

'So...with her wisdom, what would she be after?'

'The origins of magic? The secrets of ancient magic? The essence of magic? Or some ancient legends?'

Thinking of this, Andy suddenly raised his head to look at Hermione.

"Hermione, do you think I'm smart?" Andy asked.

Hermione: "..."

This person deserves a beating, right?

"I'm asking you seriously." Andy's face was serious.

"Kinda, okay!" Hermione said somewhat hesitantly.

"Well...if smart people think roughly the same way, then perhaps the secret that Ms. Ravenclaw wants to know the most is the origin of magic." Because Andy was also curious as to where exactly wizards got their magic from.

Immortality and power were just pursuits, not a desire to know.

If there was one thing that the smartest people in the magical world still wanted to know, it would have to be the origin of magic.

As for legends and stories?

Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.

Someone who could say that would definitely not go after those illusory legendary stories.

"The origin of magic?" Hermione wondered.

Andy snapped his fingers, "Exactly! That's what I want to know the most, so I guess that must be what Ms. Ravenclaw wants to know the most as well."

Hermione: "..."

She never wanted to hit someone more than once in a night.

"You're right."

Ms. Grey suddenly drifted out, "She did study them while she was alive."
