"I've always wondered why you were concerned about Collins, a young first-year wizard."
Snape didn't suppress the question in his mind, "Counting my student days, I've lived at Hogwarts for nearly twenty years. There is no shortage of young wizards who have secretly studied dark magic over the years."
And that includes me!
But Snape had never seen Dumbledore pay special attention to any of the young wizards, and even if they secretly researched dark magic, Dumbledore only provided appropriate guidance.
In some cases, he even turned a blind eye.
At the peak of Voldemort's reign, some Slytherin wizards even studied dark magic openly, publicly stating that they wanted to join the Death Eaters after graduation.
But Snape didn't see Dumbledore give them a hard time either.
He even sheltered them to a certain extent because they were part of the school.
Of course, there was no such treatment after graduation.
"..."
Dumbledore was silent for a moment before slowly saying, "If there is anyone else in the wizarding world today who can reach the heights that Voldemort and I have...I think it can be him."
Snape: "..."
I get it, you didn't care about me back then because I wasn't good enough!
In fact, Snape understood in his heart that Dumbledore didn't control him back then, not only because he was a Slytherin, but also because he was interested in joining the Death Eaters.
But he is still angry!
"Collins?" Snape looked at Dumbledore, he's only eleven and you can see his future?
"Yes!"
Dumbledore was a little emotional, it had been nearly fifty years between him and Voldemort and then Andy Collins.
"Collins has a unique interpretation of magic, a talent that no one else possesses."
Dumbledore explained, "Severus, perhaps you will discover that soon enough."
Snape no longer dwelled on the issue as he gave Dumbledore a deep look, "You better settle this as soon as possible."
With that said, Snape turned and left the Headmaster's office.

Four days later, Andy once again made another night visit to the restricted section.
Peeking at this kind of thing, when there was a first time, there would be countless times, seemingly without ever stopping.
Compared to those ordinary books outside, the books in the restricted section were indeed full of dry knowledge, and many of them inspired Andy. Even some of the 'story books' had contents that were extremely interesting to Andy.
Of course, Andy had always restrained himself from reading those restricted books related to dark magic.
So far, Andy was not ready to study dark magic.
In fact, many people misunderstood the restricted section, thinking that the books in the restricted section were all books related to dark magic.
Actually, it was not.
The magic books in the restricted section were simply more dangerous for young wizards, and if the level of magic was not enough, it was easy to cause magical accidents if one tried the magic on it hastily.
Some of the damage would even be irreversible.
That was why these books were placed in the restricted section.
Wandering around the restricted section, Andy took out a book related to human body transfiguration and read it.
Tomorrow was Saturday, so Andy could read all night tonight and then sleep all day tomorrow...
Simply perfect.
"Human Body Transfiguration is dangerous magic, at your current progress, it's best to wait until after the third year to learn this."
The voice that suddenly rang out almost frightened Andy to death.
Looking up, Andy couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, and his heart was even a little more elated.
How long has this dragged on, finally I've seen Dumbledore.
If you don't come again, I'll be learning bad things.
Dumbledore is also a little puzzled, you are a young wizard who is caught by the Headmaster while on a night tour red-handed, not only are you not nervous, but you also look happy?
Are you really so arrogant?
That's nothing serious.
But you have just given me trouble, it hasn't even been a few days yet, and you've forgotten about it?
The two of them, one a little happy and the other a little puzzled, glanced at each other, and the atmosphere gradually became a little awkward.
"Ahem! Headmaster Dumbledore, good evening."
Andy greeted, "What a coincidence to be caught by you again."
After saying that, Andy put the book back on the shelf.
It was fine if he was caught on a night out, but if he peeked at a restricted book in front of the Headmaster, it would be a little too arrogant.
Andy felt that he was a good boy.
"Is there anything you don't understand in your studies?" Dumbledore asked amiably.
If you're going to say this, I'm not going to be sleepy.
"A little indeed!"
Andy looked at Dumbledore and asked with great deliberation, "Headmaster, do you think that emotions can be fused with magic? Obscurus is the fusion of negative emotions with magic power, then what about positive emotions? Can they also be fused with magic?"
"Is the fusion of emotions with magic power a higher level of magic power? Like a qualitative change in magic power?"
Or perhaps, the unification of spirit and energy?
It wasn't that there wasn't this possibility.
If there were wizard-like practitioners in China, could their so-called Essence, Qi, and Spirit unification be the product of the fusion of emotions and magic power?
Dumbledore's eyes changed slightly, it was just that in the darkness, Andy did not notice.
When it comes to Obscurus, Dumbledore unconsciously thought of his own teenage years.
The Dumbledore family was ruined by the Obscurus.
His sister was an Obscurial, his father was captured in Azkaban because of his sister, his mother died because of his sister's Obscurial outbursts, and his brother's only son was also an Obscurial.
"Maybe."
Dumbledore said ambiguously, "But that's hard to achieve. Extreme positive emotions, violently fluctuating magic... either one of those is beyond us."
Andy's eyes flickered.
Harry's mother had pulled off the extreme positive emotion; it was her love for her son.
Harry, on the other hand... had only just been born a year or so at the time, and his magical powers were weak and unstable...
But that wasn't Harry's own emotions, after all, it wasn't quite a blend of emotions and magic.
"Thank you, Headmaster."
Andy showed a look of gratitude before continuing to ask, "Headmaster Dumbledore, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class... is there really a curse?"
"I think so."
Dumbledore nodded, "Ten years after Voldemort graduated, he returned to Hogwarts once again to seek employment and wanted to promote his vicious ideas in the school, and I refused him."
Holy crap, Voldemort was idle, wasn't he?
You're a Dark Lord, and you're messing up a class?
Also, why is this plot so familiar?
A failed art student?
If you don't get into an art school, you start a world war, and if you fail in your job search, you become the Dark Lord?
Come to think of it, the reason Uchiha Obito tried to destroy the world was because his lover died.
There are examples of such things not only in novels and comics but also in reality.
For example, Li Zicheng rebelled when he lost his job, Wu Sangui surrendered when he was cuckolded...
These are really serious problems!
So, Dumbledore became the guardian of the magical world because of his successful job search?
What about Grindelwald?
Failed in his job search? Fall out of love? Failed in career pursuit?
He ought to share one of these, right!
"Headmaster, what about Hogwarts? Is there a curse in the school?" Andy continued to pursue the question.
"Hogwarts?" Dumbledore froze.
Andy didn't want to make it too obvious, so he could only hint slightly, "It's that... that... bachelor curse!"
