Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 Something Big Happened at Hogwarts

Andy's aunt's name is Ashia Collins, and she currently works as an editor at the Daily Prophet.

Her job was stable, but things weren't so stable on the emotional front. Over the years, Andy had met as many as four or five prospective uncles alone, and there was no telling how many of those he hadn't seen yet.

All in all...she was a scumbag!

"Andy, I heard you got a little girlfriend?"

Ashia made a sad expression, "When you were a kid, you also said that you would marry your aunt when you grew up, I didn't expect that you would change your heart so soon. Hmph, men really can't be relied on!"

Yuck!

Obviously, it was you who said you would marry me when I grew up, when did it become me saying I would marry you?

Have some dignity!

Also, who on earth leaked my secret?

Andy glared at Isabel, and the little girl immediately hid behind Kyle.

"Where is Jack?" Andy asked.

"No fun, so broke up." Ashia let out a breath and had a disinterested look on her face.

Andy, Kyle, and Norman had already gotten used to it.

The fact that this one called Jack could last for half a year before breaking up was already considered to be the best of the many boyfriends of Ashia.

Andy only hoped that Isabel wouldn't be as scummy as Ashia when she grew up.

"Any interesting news lately?" Andy continued to ask.

Ashia worked for the Daily Prophet, and was very well-informed, knowing a lot of tidbits of news in the magical world, and even the private news of the Ministry of Magic's high officials could be inquired about.

"If you want to know, there is one, and it's related to Hogwarts. Andy, how about it? Want to know?" Ashia looked at Andy with an unkind expression.

"Want to! But can we change the terms?" If there was anyone in the family that Andy couldn't handle, it was probably the Ashia in front of him.

If it is about shamelessness, there was no match for her in this world.

Ashia was the best in this field.

"Changing the terms, ah...OK! How about lending Isa to me to play for a day?" Ashia's eyes were glowing as she stared at Isabel, she had long wanted to have a proper bonding session with the little lass, but it was a pity that Kyle and Helen were guarding against her so tightly in worry that the little lass would follow her and learn from her.

"OK!" Andy ignored Isabel's watering eyes and sold the little girl for a good price on the spot.

"Then it's a deal."

Ashia said with a mysterious face, "There's a young wizard at Hogwarts who was attacked by dark magic, you know that, right?"

Andy nodded.

Unsurprisingly, it was related to Malfoy!

The reason why Cornelius Fudge was able to become the Minister of Magic was all because of Dumbledore's support, so he was now completely Dumbledore's yes-man.

During this period, Dumbledore could be said to cover the sky in the British magical world.

That's why the Daily Prophet didn't even report about Malfoy being assaulted.

"That little wizard who was attacked was a child of the Malfoy family, and Lucius Malfoy gave a lot of money to the Ministry of Magic to find out about it," Ashia said and glanced at Kyle.

Kyle nodded, "There is indeed such a thing. Ever since Fudge became the minister last year, those pureblood families have been trying to bribe Fudge, and Fudge has received quite a lot of money from them, even the treatment at the Ministry of Magic has been raised quite a bit."

"If you ask me, Fudge and Dumbledore will part ways sooner or later, they're not on the same page at all."

Andy realized, he felt that Kyle had become much more generous this year, so that's what happened!

But Fudge probably wouldn't dare to go against Dumbledore, right?

Andy was a little sceptical.

Dumbledore has been teaching at Hogwarts for nearly a hundred years, and more than ninety-five percent of the wizards in today's British magical world are Dumbledore's students. Dumbledore is also the Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of Wizards.

With this influence, how can he challenge him?

Not to mention Dumbledore's own strength.

Ashia continued, "Because of the money received, Fudge wanted to send Auror to Hogwarts to investigate, only to be rejected by Dumbledore."

Andy was puzzled, "This has nothing to do with Hogwarts, right?"

Ashia glared at Andy, "Don't interrupt me, I haven't finished."

"Where was I? ... Oh, Fudge badmouthed Dumbledore in his office after he was rejected by Dumbledore."

Andy was dumbfounded, "And you know this? You're not making this up to fool me, are you?"

Fudge badmouthed Dumbledore in his office, how did you know that?

Did you know it in your dreams?

"I have a coworker named Rita Skeeter, she's always able to snoop around and get some very secretive and reliable information."

Ashia said smugly, "She and I have a good relationship and will occasionally exchange some information."

Rita Skeeter?

Andy knew this person.

Or rather, there was no one who read the Daily Prophet didn't know Rita Skeeter.

Her news was always three parts true and seven parts false.

The fake part was usually outrageous, but the real part, more often than not, was very secretive and true news.

Andy just loved reading the stories she wrote.

Exciting!

Whether it was the outrageous part or the real part, what was in it was exciting.

After a pause, Ashia continued, "Anyway, like Kyle said, sooner or later, Fudge and Dumbledore will go their separate ways."

"Kyle, what are you planning?"

Kyle spread his hands, "Me? What do the disputes of those big people have to do with me, a little person?"

Kyle was still a bit self-aware.

He went to work at the Ministry of Magic, mainly to mingle and build connections. To embezzle a little bit of public money along the way while receiving a paycheck.

There was no great ambition.

"Also!"

Ashia rolled her eyes, then looked at Andy and said, "What happened next is related to Hogwarts."

"That little wizard named Draco Malfoy woke up and said that at the beginning of the academic year, Dumbledore warned you all to not go to the third-floor corridor?"

Andy nodded, "There was such a thing."

"That's right!"

Speaking of gossip, Ashia was also a bit excited, "Fudge was overjoyed when he found out about it, and just yesterday, he used it as an excuse to personally take Auror to Hogwarts."

"Unfortunately, he didn't find out anything."

There's still such a story?

"Didn't find anything?"

Andy asked with a frown, "Wasn't Malfoy attacked on Halloween? It's been over a month, why did he just wake up?"

"I don't know about that, maybe it was some pretty powerful dark magic!" Ashia said with a disinterested look on her face.

Did Quirrell do this?

Andy frowned slightly, he had speculated about Quirrell's plan before, but he didn't expect him to investigate the corridor on the third floor of the castle through official channels.

But...what was his purpose?

Startle the snake? Get Dumbledore to relocate the Philosopher's Stone?

But if Dumbledore carried the Philosopher's Stone with him, wouldn't Quirrell have even less of a chance?
