At two o'clock in the afternoon, the Transfiguration classroom was already filled with students.
This class is still Ravenclaw and Gryffindor taking together, Andy saw Neville, who missed a Charms class, also here, but Harry and Ron were late.
It was unknown whether they were hospitalized or not.
A tabby cat sat crouched on the lecture table, and she had been staring at Andy for ten whole minutes.
Because when Hermione had just walked into the classroom and was intrigued by the cat, she asked joyfully, "Is this the cat that Professor McGonagall raises?"
After saying that, she was ready to go over and give it a couple of rubs.
Fortunately, Andy pulled Hermione back in time, which did not lead to a big mistake.
Andy, who had seen the film, naturally knew that the cat was transformed by Professor McGonagall.
Having lived in the wizarding world for so many years, Andy fully understood what level of magic Animagus Transformation is.
To put it politely, any wizard who had mastered Animagus Transformation had extremely high attainments in Transfiguration.
With this skill alone, Professor McGonagall's level was definitely not bad.
Near the beginning of class, Harry and Ron ran into the classroom in a panic.
It looked like they hadn't been hospitalized.
"Looks like we're not late, the professor isn't here yet." Harry was a little thankful, he couldn't imagine what would happen if he showed up late - Professor McGonagall is the Head of their Gryffindor.
"Is it the cat that Professor McGonagall raises?"
Ron looked at the tabby cat on the lecture table and walked over to it with a big grin, "George and Fred said that Professor McGonagall has a cat."
Thank goodness!
Andy looked at Ron with a grateful expression, you're my saviour!
Yes, that was George and Fred who said that.
Professor McGonagall clearly didn't like being petted, and before Ron could get close enough, the tabby cat leapt off the lectern and turned into Professor McGonagall in the process.
Ron's hand froze in mid-air, his eyes were blank, and by now his both legs were trembling with fear.
Professor McGonagall looked at Ron with a serious expression, "You are already late."
Ron forced himself to say something, "That was a cool trick."
"Thanks!"
Professor McGonagall was not amused, "Mr. Weasley, Mr. Potter, it looks like I'm going to have to turn one of you into a pocket watch so you can keep time."
"Professor, we're lost." Harry managed to force an explanation.
"Then turn one into a map!"
Professor McGonagall gave the two a blank look, "You don't need a map to find your seat, do you?"
The two darted to their seats.
"Transfiguration is the most complicated and dangerous magic of all the courses at Hogwarts. Anyone who misbehaves in my class will be asked to leave and never allowed to return."
"I have warned you all."
Professor McGonagall gave a good opening as she transformed the podium into a pig and changed it back again amidst the amazement of a group of young wizards.
'Awesome!' Andy exclaimed in his heart.
Professor McGonagall's skill was really brilliant.
Helen could also turn objects into animals, but the animals that Helen had transfigured clearly lacked spirituality and looked no different from dead things.
On the other hand, Professor McGonagall's transfigured pig was alive and well, just like a real pig.
What was involved here was not only the transfiguration magic, but perhaps also the skill of giving dead things a spiritual quality.
Professor McGonagall's demonstration had obviously raised the interest of the young wizards, but what awaited them was a large section of theoretical knowledge, as well as at least eight inches of notes on Transfiguration.
Professor McGonagall enjoyed asking questions in class, and Hermione always answered every one of her questions with precision and was rewarded with a 'plus one point for Ravenclaw'.
This led to Professor McGonagall look at Hermione with extreme complexity.
What a fall!
Why wasn't this young wizard a Gryffindor?
Wasn't the Sorting Hat a Gryffindor hat, when exactly did it go into the arms of a Ravenclaw?
After lecturing on the theory, Professor McGonagall looked around the classroom and habitually asked, "Does anyone still not understand anything?"
Andy quickly raised his hand.
Professor, I don't understand.
All the young wizards in the classroom looked at Andy, and they knew that Andy was going to ask some questions they couldn't understand again.
"Mr. Collins, please." Professor McGonagall was a bit strict and stern, but she was also obviously a qualified professor.
Professor McGonagall had only talked about the principle of turning wood into metal in the class, so Andy naturally couldn't ask questions that had nothing to do with the lesson.
After organizing his thoughts, Andy asked, "Professor, wood and iron are two completely different materials, but the wood that is turned into iron using Transformation Magic has all the properties of iron - does this mean that magic itself can simulate these kinds of properties?"
"Secondly, what is the principle behind magic power changing the structure of a material? As magical as magic is, I think there should be a reason for all of this."
"And ..."
Andy asked four or five questions in a row, then waited with anticipation for Professor McGonagall to answer his doubts.
Professor McGonagall froze for a moment.
These questions went beyond the syllabus!
"You are very close to the answer to the questions, Mr. Collins."
Professor McGonagall answered, "Many wizards who have been famous throughout history have said that the highest level of magic is the ability to make a wish come true, but it cannot create something out of nothing."
"Magic can indeed mimic the properties of materials, but it must rely on other materials to complete the transformation."
"If you want to know more about Transfiguration, you can read more books on the subject."
Professor McGonagall answered all of Andy's questions, and Andy complied, "I'm reading books on the subject, Professor!"
Hermione sneaked a blank look at Andy for lying again. You've obviously been reading books on charms.
"Is there anything else you're puzzled about? Mr. Collins." Professor McGonagall asked.
"None. Thanks, Professor." Andy sat back in his seat.
"What about the others?"
None! All the young wizards shook their heads together.
Professor McGonagall handed everyone a match and told them to use Transfiguration to turn the match into a pin.
Andy took his wand and flicked it, and the match instantly turned into a pin. Andy also showed off his skills by engraving some beautiful patterns on the needle.
"Mr. Collins has succeeded, plus two points for Ravenclaw."
Professor McGonagall took Andy's transfigured needle and showed it to the other young wizards, "You're all young wizards enrolled in the same year, so you can't be too far behind Mr. Collins, because that would make you look very foolish."
Andy was dumbfounded.
I didn't realize you are such a Professor.
Not only did Professor McGonagall take Andy's results to motivate the other young wizards, but she also pulled a steady flow of hate on Andy in the process.
Sure enough, women are vindictive.
I just said that you have a tabby cat, to deceive other young wizards to pet you!
No one has petted you yet, so why?
Professor McGonagall obviously knew Gryffindor very well, and her provocative methods were very effective against Gryffindor's young wizards.
In just a moment after her words fell.
Boom!!!
An explosion was heard.
