In fact, it's not surprising that Andy is so suspicious.
From Voldemort's perspective, Snape is an undercover agent lurking around Dumbledore and his eyes and ears at Hogwarts.
With Snape at Hogwarts, Voldemort can completely rely on Snape to do anything he wants.
But this time, Voldemort has sent Peter Pettigrew to infiltrate Hogwarts.
In this situation, Andy could think of no reason other than that Snape had been exposed.
With a belly full of doubts, Andy followed Professor McGonagall to the Great Hall.
The young wizards from Slytherin and Hufflepuff had already turned up.
Snape and Professor Sprout were also there.
Andy deliberately glanced at Snape's face. His expression looked normal, and apart from a little warranted doubt, there was no other emotion to be seen.
A double agent indeed!
Snape first glanced at Harry in the crowd. Upon confirming Harry's safety, Snape swiftly turned his attention to Andy.
The two men exchanged a 'telepathic' glance before immediately averting their eyes.
Andy received the signal – Snape had no idea about this at all.
He was in for a big surprise as well!
Andy quickly put the whole thing together.
Peter Pettigrew had infiltrated Hogwarts and gone to the Gryffindor boys' dormitory... Judging by Harry's expression, he even had a brief conversation with him.
This was clearly an order from Voldemort.
But Voldemort had not informed Snape.
Had Snape really been exposed? Or was Voldemort suspicious of something?
Andy scratched his head and planned to ask Harry for the details later.
"Minerva, what exactly happened?"
Professor Sprout walked over to Professor McGonagall. "Dumbledore only told us to bring the students to the great hall. Is it true that Peter Pettigrew infiltrated Hogwarts?"
"Is it true?"
Professor Sprout looked very perplexed.
Are the Death Eaters so arrogant now?
Not only do they not care about the Ministry of Magic, but now they don't even care about Hogwarts.
"Yes!"
Professor McGonagall said with a grave expression. "He entered the Gryffindor boy's dormitory and was seen by Potter and Weasley. According to them, Peter turned into a mouse and escaped through the window."
"Albus has asked the young wizards to spend the night in the great hall, while we professors will take the opportunity to thoroughly search the entire castle."
"Oh, Merlin!" Professor Sprout exclaimed.
Snape's brow furrowed.
He obviously found it hard to understand why Voldemort had bypassed him and sent Peter Pettigrew directly to Hogwarts.
Snape didn't feel that he had been exposed, and he didn't think Peter Pettigrew would dare speak ill of him in Voldemort's presence.
As for Andy, who had been working with him – Voldemort knew that Snape had used the Imperius Curse to control a dark wizard, and he had reported the incident to Voldemort.
"Severus, Pomona, I'll take care of the great hall; I'll need your help in completing Albus's task," Professor McGonagall said.
Snape nodded, exchanged a glance with Professor Sprout, and the two of them left the great hall together.
Despite his many doubts, Snape could only fulfil his role as an undercover agent—he couldn't let anything slip in front of Peter Pettigrew.
After the two left, Professor McGonagall met with the prefects of each house to arrange the young wizards' sleeping arrangements.
Transfiguration could solve this problem.
Professor McGonagall waved her wand, and a large number of tents appeared.
"Andy!"
On the other side, before Andy could ask Harry for clarification, Harry and Ron came over on their own initiative.
"I think we need to talk," Harry said.
Andy nodded and signalled with his eyes to go and talk in the corner.
Walking to a corner of the hall, Andy snapped his fingers and said, "Let's talk here! They can't hear our conversation now."
"That's cool!" Ron praised.
Harry was also full of envy. Although he was also trying hard to learn spells, he was only somewhat talented in the art of Defence Against the Dark Arts.
This was thanks to Professor Lupin, who often gave him private tutorials and taught him some useful spells.
"What happened?" Hermione asked first.
She was a little worried about Snape's safety.
Harry and Ron glanced at each other, and then Harry narrated, "After the dinner, Ron and I went back to the dormitory. We played in the dormitory for a while and went to bed around ten o'clock."
"In a daze, Ron found a mouse."
Ron shrugged and continued where Harry had left off: "Mate, I wasn't in a daze. To be honest, I had just closed my eyes, but I wasn't sleepy at all."
"I was lying in bed when I seemed to have heard a noise. I opened my eyes and saw a rat hanging on the doorknob, trying to open our dormitory door."
"I recognised the rat immediately. It was Scabbers... I mean, Peter Pettigrew!"
Andy pressed on: "And then what?"
Harry continued: "I heard Ron shouting, then I sat up in bed and saw Ron pointing in the direction of the door, shouting: Scabbers, it's Scabbers!"
"Peter realised he was exposed and changed back into his normal appearance. He pointed his wand at us, told us not to move, and then opened the window and escaped."
Andy: "..."
Andy felt that the word 'retreat' might be more accurate here.
"You mean that Peter stayed in your dormitory until you went back to bed, and then he planned to leave through the door?"
Hermione said with a surprised expression, "After you discovered him, Peter left through the window?"
"That's right!" Harry nodded with anger, unwillingness, and shame.
After discovering Peter, Harry wanted to avenge his parents immediately, but his wand was in the drawer by the bedside table—although he rushed up to it, he was restrained by Peter.
If it wasn't because Peter didn't want to kill him, he would probably be dead by now.
Harry still remembered Peter's behaviour as he left.
He waved at Harry, his face wearing a smug, mocking smile, as he said casually, "Harry, my Lord sends his regards, and you will meet soon."
After hearing the whole story, Andy found it even more difficult to understand.
It was conceivable that Peter Pettigrew must have infiltrated Harry's dormitory long ago, and he had even stayed there for a while.
But his purpose was clearly not to look for something.
Harry and the others had gone to bed a little after ten o'clock, and it was now... eleven thirty at night.
That meant that Peter had been in the dormitory for more than an hour after Harry and the others had gone to sleep.
