When the Portkey was activated, Andy felt as if a hook had caught his belly button.
The hook lifted Andy off the ground with an irresistible force and sent him flying forward like a gust of wind.
The scenery in front of him flashed past so quickly that he couldn't see anything.
'This is bad!'
Andy cursed in his head and then used Occlumency to empty his mind and force himself to calm down.
The ways of travelling in the wizarding world are generally very fast, such as Apparition, the fireplace, and the Portkey, which can quickly get you anywhere you want to go.
But at the same time, the experience is also very bad.
After an unknown period of time, Andy felt like he was rapidly descending, and then he tried hard to adjust his body so that he could land in a more decent position.
As Andy approached the ground, the speed of the descent suddenly slowed down. Andy let out a sigh of relief and adjusted his body to land firmly on the ground.
Snape looked at Andy and gave a mocking smile before walking towards the centre of the island without looking back.
Andy: "..."
Shrugging his shoulders, Andy helplessly followed.
Andy really didn't have much experience using the Portkey, and it was his first time. But after this experience, Andy also knew what the Portkey was about.
Azkaban was a castle built on an island, and the place where Andy and Snape landed was on the beach of the island.
Andy looked around as he walked.
The whole island is dark black, with black soil and black rocks, and even Azkaban, which is built in the centre of the island, is dark black. There is not a hint of any other colour to be seen on the whole island.
It is very cold here.
Not only is the climate cold, but the Dementors themselves also give off a coldness that goes straight to the soul.
Those monsters roam around the castle and occasionally go inside the castle to take a stroll and get a little food to satisfy their hunger.
After a brief walk, Snape halted and said, "The Dementors will find us if we continue."
Andy raised an eyebrow. "That's it?"
Snape: "?"
"We broke into Azkaban, supposedly the safest prison in the wizarding world, with just a Portkey."
Andy looked in the direction of Azkaban and said, "There are a lot of dementors guarding here, but the Patronus Charm is their nemesis."
"Professor, I really can't imagine that no one had ever thought of breaking out of prison before. Apart from Black, no one else has ever managed to escape successfully."
Snape glanced at Andy.
Andy's words were purely the result of speaking without thinking.
The reason they were able to enter Azkaban with the Portkey was entirely because of Dumbledore's insider at the Ministry of Magic. Without the help of an insider, the only way for outsiders to enter the island would be to search around by boat.
But Azkaban is hidden.
This kind of concealment magic is not just aimed at Muggles; even wizards cannot see the island.
As for escaping from prison...
How can a wizard without a wand break through the siege of nearly a hundred dementors?
It's simply wishful thinking!
Snape didn't even bother to explain and continued, "Dementors occasionally patrol the island... There are still nearly two hours until execution time; we need to get ready."
After saying this, Snape took out a bottle of potion, took a sip, and then threw the potion to Andy, explaining, "Dementors are blind. They can only judge which one is a person based on smell and emotions."
"This vial of potion can hide your smell. Then use the Occlumency to block your mind; with that, dementors will not sense us."
Andy took the vial.
Given that Snape drank it himself, this vial of potion likely has no issues, right?
Andy thought for a moment, then put the potion vial in his pocket. His entire body quickly shrank, and in an instant, he turned into a fat orange cat.
"Meow~"
Andy planned to temporarily use the form of Animagus to move around, and when the time came to actually act, he would revert to his human form and use the potion to shield himself from the perception of the Dementors.
With this potion and the use of the Occlumency, the Dementors in Azkaban would be a mere formality.
Andy's opponents will only be the five Aurors and ten Hit Wizards.
"Collins..."
Snape suddenly said in a meaningful tone, "You also want to split up, right?"
Andy: "?"
No wonder, Snape had arrived two hours early on the island where Azkaban was located. He must have some personal business to attend to!
A tacit understanding instantly formed between them!
Although Andy hadn't thought of this before, he did after Snape finished speaking.
It wasn't a bad idea to split up, and Andy also wanted to explore the legendary Azkaban.
Unable to speak, Andy could only nod to show his agreement.
Snape's eyelid twitched. He felt stupid for talking to a cat.
"Half past nine. We'll meet here." With that, Snape vanished.
Wait a minute!
Professor, cast a Disillusionment Charm on me too!
Despite his thoughts, Andy was only able to let out a few meows.
Andy: "..."
Although he didn't even hear any footsteps, Andy felt that Snape had already gone far away.
There was no choice but for Andy to first revert to his human form, use the Disillusionment Charm to conceal his figure, and then transform into the Anima form—the Phantom Orange Cat!
He tried to get closer to the Dementors.
Apart from being extremely cold, the Dementors were like blind people, and there was no sign of any movement at all.
'It's safe!'
Andy turned his head and looked around, thinking to himself, 'Snape, this guy... He got some secrets!'
If you count the time he broke out of prison, this was Snape's second time in Azkaban.
But during the prison break, I didn't hear of any other actions from Snape.
'In other words... Snape acted on a whim!'
'What did he discover?'
Andy wondered, 'If there's anything else that Snape cares about... apart from defeating Voldemort, it might just be something related to Lily.'
He thought about the time he had given Snape the Resurrection Stone to study for a while...
'Could it be... no?' Andy thought to himself.
Andy had looked up information on Azkaban.
Azkaban was built in the 15th century, but it was not originally used as a prison.
It was originally the home of a dark wizard named Ekrizdis.
He was extremely powerful, and it was said that he often lured, tortured, and killed Muggle sailors who passed through here for fun.
It wasn't until after his death that the Ministry of Magic became aware of the existence of this island and its buildings, when concealment spells he had cast lost their effect.
Those who went to investigate here only mentioned that numerous dementors gathered here and refused to reveal any more.
Andy had once thought that the dark wizard named 'Ekrizdis' had conducted evil dark magic experiments here.
But now it seems that Snape may have discovered something new.
