Andy was completely numb.
This was all just a game of 'play house' between Andy and Malfoy – Andy played the role of the Dark Lord, and Malfoy played the role of the Dark Lord's henchman.
Andy was having fun.
He had nothing to do, and Malfoy came up to him. It seemed like fun to tease Malfoy for a change.
The second reason was to turn Lucius Malfoy against Voldemort.
The Malfoy family is still very influential in the wizarding world, especially among the Pureblood wizard families, and the Malfoy family can be regarded as a frontrunner.
What's more, the Malfoy family is very wealthy.
Once Lucius Malfoy defected, Voldemort's strength would be greatly reduced. More importantly, Voldemort would lose his source of funding.
It is simply impossible to expect Voldemort to make his own money.
However, all of this...
As Malfoy began to recruit, Andy felt that the situation might be getting a little out of hand.
"And then?"
Concerned for Andy's safety, Hermione couldn't wait to ask, "What else did they say?"
Ron shrugged, "I didn't hear the rest... Well, I was discovered."
Hermione looked at Andy suspiciously.
The young witch remembered what Andy had said before; Malfoy had approached him to 'deal with' the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.
"Andy, what did Malfoy want to talk to you about?" Harry asked curiously. He felt that they might be able to find some clues from the content of Andy's conversation with Malfoy.
"Well..."
Andy shrugged. "Malfoy first approached me to talk about the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. Hermione, you know that I've taken steps to get them out before because of their incompetence, right?"
Andy would never change his story.
Hermione nodded.
"Get Professor Lupin out..." Harry was stunned.
"But I refused Malfoy."
Andy continued, "Because Professor Lupin is a true expert in his field."
"He approached me a second time to discuss something... and a third time as well. But I'm sorry, I can't tell you what it was. But Professor Dumbledore knew about it."
Andy's words clearly piqued the curiosity of Hermione, Harry, and Ron.
"Why can't you tell us?" This was Harry and Ron.
"Professor Dumbledore knew?" This was Hermione.
The fact that 'Professor Dumbledore knew' had obviously given the young witch a lot of confidence. She had been a little worried about Andy's safety, but now she wasn't.
Not to mention Andy's own strength; with Dumbledore backing him up, there was nothing to fear at all.
Besides... Professor Snape was also on their side.
Even if Voldemort really did have some kind of plot, just a measly Malfoy alone could not make a ripple.
The young witch was obviously a little inflated at this moment.
"Okay, there's nothing to worry about."
Andy said with a smile, "It's time to go to class. Harry and Ron, thank you for this time. Goodbye!"
After saying that, Andy waved his hand and then got up and left with Hermione.
Only Harry and Ron were left standing there like idiots, looking at each other.
***
After thinking about Malfoy, Andy decided not to worry about it.
Not to mention that it was just Malfoy and his two lackeys; even if Malfoy gathered all the Slytherin wizards together, they wouldn't be able to make a difference.
What's more, Malfoy didn't have that much prestige.
Compared to all this, the most important thing at the moment was to complete the experiment on dark magic transfiguration.
Nothing was more important than that!
In fact, Andy had also considered his future.
Not some childish fantasy, but a realistic perspective on the future.
For the time being, Andy only wants to use magic to gain immortality and great power.
If the plan succeeds, ruling the wizarding world will be meaningless.
Just imagine having someone who can live for thousands of years, or even longer, rule over a group of people who can only live for a hundred years. Then every day you have to worry about whether they are living well, whether they are happy, and occasionally you have to deal with conflicts between them.
What's the point?
If you manage well, you get nothing. If you manage badly, you get blamed.
So Andy always thought that if he could attain immortality, he would be quite happy to live like Nicolas Flamel.
He would usually hide away, but when he felt like it, he would go out and travel and have fun around the world. It would of course be best to have company, but if there was none, Andy could have fun on his own.
But if the plan fails and immortality is just a pipe dream... then Andy will have to settle for a normal life.
But when living in society, wealth, power, status, and connections are all indispensable.
So Andy doesn't really mind what Malfoy is doing.
Walking to class, Hermione looks at Andy suspiciously and asks, "Andy, are you sure you don't keep any secrets from me?"
"Of course, it is not such a big secret!"
Andy looked Hermione sincerely in the eye and said, "I didn't tell that secret before just because I can't tell Harry and Ron, because they're more impulsive. But...if you really want to know, I will tell you."
"Sorry, Andy. I don't doubt you."
Hermione said apologetically. "But Malfoy...his father is a Death Eater after all...you know, they really could hurt you."
Andy smiled and suddenly whispered, "Malfoy's father, Lucius Malfoy, was already planning to side with Dumbledore."
"What!" Hermione exclaimed in a low voice.
"What's surprising about that?"
Andy laughed, "After all, Voldemort is already like that, so apart from Snape, who is an undercover agent, who else would really be loyal to him?"
"What's more, Lucius Malfoy also messed up the task Voldemort had assigned him."
Andy felt that no tyrant would tolerate his followers seeing him at his lowest ebb.
To side with Voldemort at this time would be a dead end.
"Okay, let's not talk about it."
Andy suddenly said with some anticipation, "Divination class is about to start. I really hope Professor Trelawney can teach some new divination methods."
When it came to divination, Hermione's eyes immediately began to shine.
The young witch felt like she was the future master of divination, and now she always carried her tarot cards with her wherever she went.
"Andy, I think you should memorise the book 'Unfogging the Future'."
Hermione suggested. "You just guess based on your feelings every time you do a divination, which is why your results are so inconsistent."
Andy: "..."
"I don't rely on books, but on the vision that allows me to see the future."
Andy insisted, "One day, I will become a true seer."
