"Dumbledore..."
Snape looked at Dumbledore with an inexplicable look in his eyes. He felt that Dumbledore might have lost his mind to discuss topics like soul and mind with Andy.
The mind is fine, but the soul has always been a taboo subject in the field of magic.
Most magic related to the soul is 'evil and cruel' dark magic.
And who is Andy?
He can intrude and confront Aurors at the Ministry of Magic and then recklessly cast the Fiendfyre Curse in the Department of Mysteries to explore the mysteries of magic and the Resurrection Stone.
He is only thirteen years old and just starting his third year at school...
Once Andy's strength has further improved, who knows what terrible things he will do to study magic?
Snape was suddenly overcome by a sense of foreboding as he thought about the curtain in the Department of Mysteries' Death Chamber and the world of the dead beyond it, which Andy had mentioned.
He felt that Dumbledore might have misjudged the boy.
Snape had made an Unbreakable Vow with Andy not to reveal any of his secrets, so he couldn't say much.
Thinking about this, Snape changed the subject tactfully and asked tentatively,
"Dumbledore, do you trust him?"
Dumbledore's gaze flickered slightly beneath his glasses. "Severus, only the ignorant are fearless. The soul is closely linked to death...Collins is a clever boy, and he will discover some truths."
I see!
Snape suddenly understood Dumbledore's approach.
Only the ignorant can be fearless...
Andy was curious about the Deathly Hallows and had been pursuing clues related to Death and Deathly Hallows.
Obviously, it was not possible to stop Andy from investigating it with just a few words.
If Andy charged headlong without knowing anything, there was no telling what the consequences of his actions would be, or perhaps he simply didn't feel that it was anything to be afraid of.
But if Andy was allowed to glimpse the tip of the iceberg... he would stop investigating out of fear.
"Dumbledore...can a soul really be eternal?" Snape suddenly asked.
Dumbledore gave Snape a deep look and sighed, slowly saying, "Severus... disturbing the dead is not a good thing."
Snape remained silent.
He suddenly understood a little of what Andy had said before.
Everyone is dominated by their own desires and obsessions.
Snape knew that the world behind the curtain was dangerous and that rashly lifting the curtain could trigger an unpredictable disaster. But he still couldn't resist the urge to peer inside.
He wanted to resurrect Lily!
Just a few minutes ago, Snape had felt that Andy was a dangerous and evil person.
But now, Snape felt that he was similar.

On the other side, Andy returned to the library and began to sort through the gains from this conversation.
'Perhaps the souls in the world of the dead are what they are like after losing their mental powers.'
Andy thought of the souls of the dead summoned by the Resurrection Stone.
They were pessimistic, indifferent, and lonely, and they tempted the living to go to the world of the dead with them.
In contrast, although ghosts also did not have some mental powers, they lived in the real world after all and were more or less influenced by the mental powers of the living.
Andy was a little excited.
The biggest takeaway from this conversation with Dumbledore is that Andy is filled with confidence in his magic transfiguration experiment!
Andy doesn't think the magic transfiguration experiment will succeed on the first try, but he believes he has made the right choice—to use the magic of death for magic transfiguration!
According to Dumbledore:
The soul is the core of human existence, an entity that transcends matter. It exists eternally and is not bound by time or space.
This theory coincided with what Andy had previously thought.
Andy believed that the soul did not belong to this material world of atoms.
Here's the point!
If the world of the dead behind the curtain is the final resting place of the soul, then once Andy has stolen the magic of death through magic transfiguration, Andy will be able to possess the magical power of that world.
Andy just doesn't know yet what effect the magic of death will have on the soul.
But the mind is not part of the soul.
The mind is also a kind of energy that is not material, but only living people have mental power—it is the driving force behind thinking and the centre of emotions.
In other words, the mind can influence the soul!
When practising dark magic, Andy needs to ensure that the soul is not contaminated.
During this magic transfiguration to steal the magic of death, Andy's mental power will become the guarantee to prevent his soul from being affected!
Andy closed his eyes and pondered.
'The soul is eternal...'
'If I succeed in stealing the power of death this time, with an eternal soul...can I use this power to transform my body so that it can become eternal too?'
"Hoo—"
Andy let out a breath, calming his excited heart.
For something like this, all he needs to do is wait for the results of the experiment to come out, then everything will become clear.
Andy thought of another guess.
Why would the world of the dead, a dimension different from the real world, need human souls?
Andy had previously guessed that perhaps that dimension needed the soul to learn certain things from humans.
If the soul is not part of the mind... Andy felt that perhaps what that dimension really wanted was the soul influenced by the mind—what they really wanted was the power of the human mind!
The soul took the power of the human mind to that dimension!
This is terrifying!
"Well!"
Andy sighed and scratched his head.
There's no point thinking about it now. Instead of wasting that energy, he might as well finish the magic transfiguration experiment as soon as possible and see what effect the magic of death will have on the bodies of the living.
And before his official magic transfiguration...
Andy needs to gain some points as soon as possible!

Hogwarts, where no one causes trouble, is obviously a good place to study.
After the busiest beginning of the school year, Andy quickly got into study mode and frantically absorbed all kinds of magic knowledge.
But knowledge is a fickle thing...
You can read it, but you won't necessarily remember it; you can remember it, but you won't necessarily be able to use it; you can use it, but you won't necessarily be able to use it proficiently; and you can use it proficiently, but you won't necessarily be able to use it skillfully.
The system clearly expects more than just 'memorisation' from Andy.
This is a 'grinding' system!
To ensure that he has enough time to practice his magic, Andy uses the Time-Turner every night to give himself three extra hours.
It's exhausting!
But Andy is gradually getting used to it.
Andy now also needs to use the Time-Turner to give himself enough time and an alibi to complete his experiments with magic transfiguration.
When it's all over...
Andy can go to the Department of Mysteries and grab a Time-Turner to free himself from this misery.
