Snape looked at Andy suspiciously.
Andy hadn't done anything yet, but Malfoy next to him was already shaking with nervousness.
From more than ten days ago, Snape had been in a good mood.
He had received the Resurrection Stone from Andy and used its power to meet Lily's soul – after twelve years apart, they had finally met again, and Snape had finally said the long-overdue sorry.
He had talked to Lily a lot.
Those few days, Snape had hardly been able to sleep at night.
He held the Resurrection Stone and kept watching Lily's figure. He didn't want to let it go, didn't want Lily to leave his side and return to the cold and desolate world of the dead.
He wanted to keep the figure of that woman by his side forever.
Until one morning, Snape decided to read the newspaper to find out the situation in the wizarding world.
He had already decided that if he had the chance, he would definitely go to the Death Chamber of the Department of Mysteries to have a look.
To see the archway, to see the curtain!
He wanted to resurrect Lily!
But Snape never expected to read the news of Sirius Black's exoneration in the Daily Prophet.
It was even the headline!
'Arrest of Peter Pettigrew.' The news was certainly welcome, but Snape then heard another piece of bad news.
Remus Lupin is about to take up the position of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor.
That bloody werewolf!
But Snape didn't care about him anymore.
Because he had more important things to do!
Just now, Snape had wanted to say something to Harry – after all, he is now going to hit on Harry's mum.
Before he hadn't seen Lily, so it was fine, but now that he had... Snape felt that he should perhaps change his attitude towards Harry.
He wanted to be nice to Harry!
If his plan worked, and he really brought Lily back to life, then Harry might become his stepson.
But before Snape could go over and say hello to Harry in a friendly manner, he heard from Harry and Ron about the whole 'Andy and Malfoy talking in secret' thing.
Snape suddenly became nervous!
He knew what kind of person Andy was.
He is a reckless guy!
He dared to use the Professor, and he dared to infiltrate the Ministry of Magic and confront five Aurors head-on. Even when faced with Dumbledore and Voldemort, he didn't care much about them.
Because that young wizard was confident, he believed that sooner or later he could surpass them.
In the thirty-odd years of his life, Snape had never seen a more terrifying young wizard than Andy—perhaps Voldemort's student days were no better.
Snape didn't want Andy to have much contact with Malfoy.
That was too dangerous for Malfoy!
He is still just a child.
"Professor?"
Andy looked at Snape and asked with a smile, "What are you doing here?"
Snape gave Andy a 'warning' look and then said lightly, "I'm here to remind you not to miss the opening dinner later."
"Thanks!" Andy said.
Tap, Tap, Tap...
Another sound of footsteps could be heard, and Harry and Ron came running over, both of them covered in sweat.
Ron was already talking without thinking, "Andy, run! Snape's here..."
Everyone: "..."
Harry grabbed Ron, who was embarrassed and tapping his toes on the ground.
It's over!
Ron was at his wit's end.
On the first day of school, he and Harry are about to bring Gryffindor points down!
Snape's face instantly turned gloomy, but then, he slightly raised the corners of his mouth, as if forcing himself to show an amiable smile.
"Potter...Weasley, good evening!"
Snape glanced at the crowd. He felt that since Harry and Ron happened to be here, Andy would not really do anything to Malfoy at this time, even if he wanted to.
With this thought, Snape waved his robe and strode towards the Great Hall.
As he passed Harry, Snape gave Harry a fatherly smile.
Harry was stunned!
No one was happy that Snape hadn't deducted points, because that would mean that Snape was planning something even more sinister.
Who would deduct points from a dead person?
Harry had never forgotten that Snape had once caused his forehead scar to feel tremendous pain in his second year.
Malfoy looked at Harry and Ron with a sneer and said with a malicious smile, "Potter, Weasley, you're finished!"
Malfoy knew very well that Snape was a Death Eater and that he had never changed his allegiance – he had always been loyal to Voldemort.
Just look at Snape's smile!
How cruel!
Malfoy deeply felt that Harry and Ron definitely would not survive this school year.
For the first time, Harry and Ron did not refute Malfoy's words, because they already sensed that they were about to be finished.
"You should go back,"
Andy reminded him. "I'm going to wait here for a while for Hermione."
"Yes!" Malfoy nodded.
"Behave normally!" Andy rolled his eyes.
Malfoy looked at Andy as if he had something on his mind.
"Hm?" Andy looked at Malfoy, signifying that he should speak his mind.
Malfoy looked hesitant. He wanted to remind Andy that Hermione came from the Muggle world and that this identity would not be conducive to their next move.
But this was not the time to say that.
After thinking for a while, Malfoy turned and walked towards the Great Hall – he wanted to see if there were any cute girls among the Slytherin freshmen.
"Andy, we'll go back first," Harry said.
Harry and Ron were curious about what Andy and Malfoy had been talking about, but it was someone else's secret, so they didn't want to pry.
"See you later!" Andy waved.
After a while, Hermione finally returned. "The letter has been sent. Are you done?"
"Thanks!" Andy said.
"What did Malfoy want?" Hermione asked curiously.
The young witch didn't have as many scruples, and she felt that she and Andy didn't need to care about these things.
"He asked if I wanted to get rid of the new Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor."
Andy shrugged his hands and laughed, "Malfoy thinks that every time I get rid of the Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor, something will happen at Hogwarts."
"Hogwarts has been attacked for two consecutive years, and Malfoy thinks that I'm involved in all of this."
After saying this, Andy also had a look of helplessness on his face.
"Hahaha ha..."
Hermione almost laughed out of breath after hearing this, and she held on to Andy, panting and saying, "If he hadn't said it, I really wouldn't have thought of this."
"Andy, this can't be some sort of curse, can it?"
Andy's face turned dark.
But...speaking of curses...
Andy's expression twitched slightly.
Even though many days had passed, Andy still felt a chill run down his spine whenever he thought about the prophecy about the Saviour.
The power of fate...
It was a power even Voldemort could not resist!
And a curse...
Thinking about the curse in the Defence Against the Dark Arts class, Andy suddenly realised that a curse seemed to be a magic that interfered with fate.
