Chapter 311 - Chapter 311 You are a good fit for the Department of Mysteries

In front of Mrs Bagshot's house.

Andy went up and knocked on the door.

Creak-

The old wooden door was pushed open, and Mrs Bagshot stood in the doorway and looked at Andy's trio.

Since she had already been reminded by Andy, Hermione did not show the slightest difference.

However, after seeing Mrs Bagshot's appearance, Hermione still felt that her heart was being gripped hard - Mrs Bagshot's appearance was almost exactly the same as that of the old hag in the fairy tale.

Due to her old age hunch, she looked about the same height as Andy. Her knuckles were bluish, her skin was blotchy, like flaking paint, and her eyes looked very cloudy due to cataracts.

Hermione suddenly understood a little why Andy had been afraid of Mrs Bagshot when he was a child - it was a little secret that Isabel had secretly told her.

"Hello Andy, Issa ...."

Mrs Bagshot's voice was a little hoarse, "And this is...?"

"Hello, madam!"

Andy introduced, "This is Hermione Granger, the one I mentioned to you before, the Miss Know-It-All."

"Hello, Mrs Bagshot," Hermione said politely.

"Hello, Miss Granger."

Mrs Bagshot turned slightly sideways, "Come in, it's cold outside."

Walking into the house, the smells of old age, dust, and dirty clothes hit her at once.

Hermione was a little uncomfortable.

Andy also wondered why wizards didn't like to be clean. It was obviously just a matter that could be solved by a single spell, but Mrs Bagshot had refused to clean up the house.

Didn't she feel bad about this herself?

The flame in the fireplace was weak, Mrs Bagshot took out her wand and flicked it at the fireplace, the fire in the fireplace burst into flames and the temperature in the room warmed up quickly.

"Please sit!" Mrs Bagshot said.

"Thank you!"

After exchanging pleasantries with Mrs Bagshot for a while, Andy took the initiative and said, "Ma'am, before coming over to visit you, Hermione and I went to the graveyard and inadvertently saw the markings representing the Deathly Hallows on Peverell's tombstone."

"Have you ever learnt anything about the Deathly Hallows?"

Hermione looked at Mrs Bagshot with an expectant face at that.

Isabel also had a serious look on her face.

Previously it was all just Andy and Hermione's speculation, but if Mrs Bagshot had also determined the existence of the Deathly Hallows, then ...

At the thought of this, the little girl was instantly nervous!

Voldemort is dead, it's nothing to be afraid of, but Dumbledore is still alive!

Robbing Dumbledore's stuff ... Andy won't be killed, right?

Isabel nervously clutched Andy's shirt as she thought about how she could persuade Andy to hold on for a few more years if he was hell-bent on doing so.

Anyway, Andy is still young; when he survives until Dumbledore dies, won't all of Dumbledore's things be his?

"The Deathly Hallows, huh...?"

Mrs Bagshot's tone was intricate, she used those cloudy eyes to seriously look at Andy several times, "A few years younger, but just as talented. At such a young age, you already possess magical abilities that surpass those of an average wizard."

Andy and Hermione looked at each other, there was something!

But whenever an old person is caught up in their memories, they always start with 'thinking about the past'.

"Ma'am?" Andy tried.

"Ugh!"

Mrs Bagshot sighed, "Actually, from the first time you came over to me, I guessed that sooner or later you would ask about this matter."

Andy smiled with some embarrassment!

It had to be said that Andy did have his own selfishness in approaching Mrs Bagshot.

"Deathly Hallows ..."

Mrs Bagshot recalled, "More than seventy years ago, perhaps more than eighty years ago, there was also a talented young man who came here, wanting to find information about the Deathly Hallows."

Andy guessed that that person was Grindelwald!

Mrs Bagshot continued, "He inquired about some information here, and then ... left this place."

"Andy, the Deathly Hallows aren't as powerful as they are said to be. That man had the Elder Wand, but he ended up losing in a duel."

Andy raised an eyebrow at that!

Since he guessed that the Elder Wand might be in Dumbledore's hands, Andy had once thought that the secret of Dumbledore's power was the Elder Wand.

If a wand made Dumbledore the most powerful wizard in the magic world, then it would be worthy of the name of the Deathly Hallows.

But now ...

Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald, who held the Elder Wand?

What about Voldemort? Is he fighting 50-50 with Dumbledore with the Elder Wand? Or 40-60?

The most powerful and dangerous dark wizard ever?

Tsk!

Maybe Voldemort has limited intelligence when it comes to screwing up his career, but he's certainly overpowered.

At least one level stronger than Grindelwald.

Dark magic transfiguration, splitting souls to create Horcruxes, and superb dark magic talent ... By this count, Voldemort has almost stacked full of dark magic buffs.

But he still couldn't beat Dumbledore!

"Hiss-"

Andy sucked in a breath of cold air, this old man is terrifying as hell!

There was one thing that Andy had been reluctant to admit.

Over the past year or so, Andy had gone through many books, but he had not been able to find the secret of Dumbledore's power.

So was there such a possibility ... that the reason why Dumbledore was powerful was actually all due to his magic talent?

Just like Andy!

Unlike the brainstorming Andy, Hermione, after listening to Mrs Bagshot's words, hurriedly pursued the question: "Mrs Bagshot, so, the Deathly Hallows really exist? Then ... are they related to the Death?"

Mrs Bagshot looked at Hermione, and then Andy, and faintly said, "Every wizard who chases after the Deathly Hallows is trying to get the secrets of the Death."

"It's too long ago, so long ago that there are no longer any clues to prove the existence of the gods."

Andy and Hermione looked at each other and asked, "What about history? Madam, you are the most famous magic historian in the magic world, do you think that the history of the magic world has been revised?"

Mrs Bagshot didn't answer immediately, she looked at Andy and suddenly said, "If you are interested in these secrets, you should consider working in the Department of Mysteries of the Ministry of Magic after graduation."

"I think you'd fit in well there."

Department of Mysteries?

Andy frowned slightly, he had heard of it before, the employees working in the Department of Mysteries were called Unspeakables, they were not allowed to disclose anything related to their work.

Kyle had worked at the Ministry of Magic for more than ten years and had never been to the Department of Mysteries before.

It was a very mysterious department.

Mrs Bagshot had abruptly mentioned the Department of Mysteries ...

Andy's mind became clear, perhaps there were indeed some secrets of the magic world hidden there.

Thinking of this, Andy's heart moved slightly.

It is impossible to work, but later on, if there is an opportunity, it is possible to sneak in and pry into the secrets of this mysterious department - of course, that will have to wait until he has the strength.

Well ... Mrs Bagshot probably means the same thing, doesn't she?
