Chapter 267 - Chapter 267 Why is there always someone targeting Andy every year?

"Ron, how many times has that person given you orders between yesterday and today?" Andy asked.

"Let's see ..."

Ron recalled and said in a dubious tone, "Three times, I think ... maybe four."

"Can you mention them?" Andy asked.

Harry and Hermione gulped and simultaneously set their eyes on Ron.

"Of course!"

Ron skimmed his lips and recalled, "At the very beginning, a voice told me to look at Harry with a fierce gaze."

Andy and Hermione looked at each other.

This slip-up had really been leaked to them on purpose.

Ron continued, "Then there was ... that voice telling me to go wait for Andy on the seventh floor."

"Go wait for me on the seventh floor?" Andy froze.

Harry was puzzled, "Why would you go to the seventh floor and wait for Andy?"

Ron said helplessly, "How should I know? But I've heard a little rumour that there is a secret classroom on the seventh floor of the castle where Andy practices his magic usually."

Hermione gave Andy a somewhat triumphant look, "Andy, it's a good thing I dragged you to the library, otherwise you would probably have been schemed on by now."

Andy frowned.

Let Ron go to the seventh floor and wait for me?

Did the Horcrux originally plan an attack on the seventh floor?

Ron continued, "I waited on the seventh floor for a while before the voice told me to bring Harry to the girls' lavatory on the second floor, by telling him that I heard a 'hissing' sound there."

Puzzled, Andy asked, "Ron, didn't you say you heard the voice four times?"

Ron nodded, a little fearfully, "Yeah, one was so faint I wasn't sure if it was that person's voice."

"Oh?" Andy raised an eyebrow.

Ron said, "I didn't hear what was said that time, but I'm sure it was the same voice."

Andy gave Ron a calm glance, "If it was the caster giving you orders, then you should have heard it clearly."

"Since you didn't hear it clearly, it means that ... the culprit did speak, but he was not giving orders to you."

Harry and Ron sucked in a breath of cold air at that.

Hermione was shocked, "The culprit was there, he was in that crowd of onlookers!"

Andy patted Hermione while saying, "Well, that's all I have to ask. It's getting late, you two haven't eaten yet, right? I won't bother you guys."

After saying that, Andy pulled Hermione and was about to leave.

"Andy!" Harry suddenly called out.

"Huh?" Andy turned around and looked at Harry with some surprise.

Harry said with deliberation, "Andy, that culprit not only attacked two classmates, he also took control of Ron, and at the same time, he also has his eyes on you ... I think we should cooperate and catch that person together, how about it?"

Andy: "..."

To be reasonable, no matter at any time, cooperation is always a bit more efficient than going solo.

But then again.

Cooperation also has to be done depending on the person.

If those cooperators are Harry and Ron ...

"There's no need, I can handle it myself." Andy finished, waved his hand and turned to leave.

Two twelve or thirteen-year-old brats with basically nothing but a sense of justice and courage. If the two of them were a little more mature, Andy would have considered working with them.

But now, well ...

Forget about it!

"Andy, that culprit is dangerous, he's already got his eyes on you." On the way to the seventh floor, Hermione said worriedly.

How is it that every year someone sets their sights on Andy?

The little witch wondered a little ... Is this a curse?

"He may be dangerous, but I'm not exactly safe either!" Andy said with a calm face.

Hermione didn't dwell on the matter and turned to say, "He told Ron to go to the seventh floor to keep an eye on you ... That means he was originally going to plan the attack on the seventh floor."

"But you went to the library, so he had to temporarily change the location of the act."

"Well ..."

"Andy, don't you think that there seems to be something not quite right in this?"

Andy let out a light laugh.

"Of course, it's not right!"

"If the culprit just wanted to stage an attack in front of me, then all he needed to do was to keep an eye on me, instead of asking Ron to go to the seventh floor to 'wait' for me!"

"What's more, he had Ron actively expose himself."

There were too many suspicious points here.

First, he had Ron actively expose himself, and then he went to the seventh floor to wait for Andy ... Andy remembered very clearly that Ron had said 'wait', not 'keep an eye on'.

If Ron was right, then there was a big problem here.

Hermione frowned.

"Andy, do you think ... that culprit thought that as soon as you discovered Ron's abnormality, you would take the initiative to expose him?"

Ah, this...

The corner of Andy's mouth twitched slightly.

Reasonably, if he was a normal young wizard, then he would indeed do so.

Andy pictured it for a moment.

If he went to the Room of Requirement today and then met Ron on his way out ...

Or maybe, when he came to the girls' lavatory door on the second floor to spectate, he saw Ron with an odd look on his face and stepped forward to say something ...

Is that the case?

Andy had a head full of questions.

Is this what Voldemort is up to?

Originally, Andy thought that Voldemort planned this attack to throw out the Chamber of Secrets to attract the attention of the crowd and to win breathing space for him.

But now it seemed that Voldemort had been preparing to commit the crime on the seventh floor at first.

"It's not that simple, is it?"

Andy analysed, "I think when we analyse things, we better not forget what his real purpose is - he wants to be resurrected!"

The little witch said disapprovingly, "Didn't you also say before that he's a not-so-normal person? Extreme? Twisted? It doesn't seem surprising that such a person would do whatever he wants, right?"

Well, Andy was convinced.

Voldemort's Horcrux ... Who knew what that soul fragment was trying to do?

Hermione continued, "On top of that ... Andy, he's got his eye on you. You're not The Boy Who Lived, and Voldemort doesn't have any grudge against you, so why is he going to go through all the trouble to scheme against you?"

Andy gave Hermione an appreciative look, "Hmm! You kind of hit the nail on the head with that one."

"Instead of attacking me, he chose to plot against me through Ron. This means that he doesn't want to kill me, but wants to accomplish something through me."

Hermione looked at Andy, "So ... what can you do?"

Andy corrected, "Hermione, there are so many things I can do. So ... it's not what I can do, it's what he heard."

"Okay!"

Hermione nodded, "The most likely thing is that you improved the Patronus Charm, and if something happens to you at school, it might make the headlines in the Daily Prophet."

Andy spread his hands, "Then he could have just attacked me."

"Hermione, let's smooth it out!"

"He heard something about me, and he thought I could help him do something no one else could, so he controlled Ron to scheme against me."

"But there are two problems here. One, Ron is a friend of Harry's; and two, Ron voluntarily exposed himself."
