Chapter 253 - Chapter 253: The Evil of Human Nature and Social Problems

Andy voiced his thoughts.

Voldemort wanted to hide his Horcrux, so what he needed was a room where he could hide things.

But if he wanted to find where Andy practised magic, he needed a room where he could hide people.

People and objects...

The needs were different, so of course the Room of Requirement wouldn't provide the same room.

"Andy, I think I know the reason now!"

Hermione's eyes lit up, "Think about yourself, Andy! When you inadvertently found out about the Room of Requirement, you were quick to make a new request."

"Looking for you, made him discover the Room of Requirement!"

"But hiding things should be his own need!"

You are such a little angel to me.

Andy sat up from the couch with a roll.

That's right!

If you find out about the Room of Requirement, you're bound to use it.

And hiding something ... is what that person needed at that time.

In this way, everything can be explained.

It doesn't matter how he found out about the Room of Requirement. What mattered was how he was going to use the Room of Requirement.

Voldemort wanted to hide his Horcrux, and he also wanted to hide his thing.

So he found Voldemort's Horcrux!

"Hiding thing ..."

Andy looked at Hermione with a gleam in his eye and posed a new question, "Hermione, under what circumstances do you think a young wizard would need to hide something? Especially, if he also has to hide it in the Room of Requirement."

Prank?

That would be too much.

So he must have wanted to hide his stuff.

Hermione shook her head, "Too many possibilities, it could even just be a love letter that wasn't sent."

"I think it would be best if we had a look at that room, though."

Andy nodded.

The two quickly exited the Room of Requirement, and a new request was made to open a new room.

"What a mountain of garbage ..."

Andy casually rummaged through it, and there really was everything here.

Damaged tables, chairs, books, flying brooms, all sorts of knick-knacks, and a bunch of messy stuff, Andy even found some strange and bizarre dead magical creatures.

"This place is indeed good for hiding things. Storing your thing here would be like hiding a drop of water in the ocean." Hermione exclaimed in amazement.

"Alright, let's get out!" Andy said.

"Aren't we going to investigate?" Hermione queried.

"What else is there to investigate here?"

Andy spread his hands, "If it was really a dark magic item which took control of the young wizard to launch the attack, then that item would have been taken away a long time ago."

"That's right too!" Hermione sighed, "I've always lacked your mentality, you've never been in a rush when it comes to these situations."

"You've done well." Andy laughed.

You are good for a twelve-year-old!

Well, Hermione is thirteen now.

What more could we ask of a thirteen-year-old?

Andy continued, "Let's change rooms, I'd like to practice my magic for a while."

After Halloween had passed, the Quidditch match was about to officially begin.

The tension of the approaching match quickly washed away the tense atmosphere in the castle.

If there was anything else new in the castle in the past two days ...

That would be Filch being ostracized!

As the only suspect in the attack on Justin, Filch was having a hard time.

Even though the professors had explained over and over again that Filch wasn't the real culprit, the young wizards were only willing to believe what they wanted to believe as 'the truth'.

Because Filch was originally very unpopular.

So as long as they 'believed' that Filch was the culprit, they could do something excessive to Filch without any psychological burden.

The evil of human nature is revealed at this moment.

Compared to the others, Andy's day was fairly normal, nothing different from before except that he usually needed to be a bit more cautious.

As for Voldemort's Horcrux ...

Since Dumbledore already knew about it, Andy naturally did not intend to get involved. If he encountered it, he would solve it, and if he didn't encounter it, he would live his own little life without worry.

In the blink of an eye, the first Quidditch match was about to begin.

Gryffindor versus Slytherin!

As two houses with 'past grievances and recent enmities', Gryffindor and Slytherin had been rubbing their fists for many days, and could not wait to have a great battle.

Quidditch Pitch.

Feeling the enthusiastic atmosphere on the field, Andy was also in a rare moment of high spirits, ready to enjoy a wonderful match - although he didn't find Quidditch interesting, the match was still very confrontational.

Eating the nibbles that he had sneakily bought from Hogsmeade, Andy watched with interest as the Slytherin strung along the Gryffindor.

The speed advantage of Nimbus 2001 was too great.

What's more, the Gryffindor players were still riding the old Cleansweep Seven, and only Harry had a Nimbus 2000.

There was no way to compete.

Less than ten minutes into the match, Slytherin had already scored five goals in a row.

"Looks like there's not much hope for Gryffindor!" Cedric sighed as if he had already seen the future fate of their Hufflepuffs.

"Speaking of which ..."

Hermione wondered, "Why doesn't the school specify a flying broomstick to be used for the competition? This isn't anywhere near fair, is it?"

Cho Chang was also unconvinced.

She had only just joined the team this year, was she going to experience what it was like to be strung around?

Cedric didn't agree, "Then why don't you slow down your learning pace?"

Hermione aggravated, "It's a fair game! Besides, it doesn't really have anything to do with my study pace, does it?"

"Exams are fair too!"

Cedric said, "But ... people's talents are unfair. You, and Andy, for example."

"We can't ask the two of you to slow down your learning pace and just study as much as everyone else, in pursuit of a fair exam. Don't you agree?"

Hermione scowled angrily, "You're being unreasonable! Players also have high and low skills, and the game is about skill, but the flying broom is an external factor. If you compare the flying broom ... then it is simply more about whose family is richer!"

Andy patted Hermione's head and said in amusement, "Alright, don't be angry. What Cedric said is just the surface reason, or ... called the official rhetoric."

"There are few people in the wizarding world, not many families would constantly update their flying brooms, buying a new broom when a new one comes out."

"Imagine if the competition stipulated that both sides could only use the same flying broom, who would the broom company be selling the new products they developed?"

Andy explained, "Without a market, there would be no funding or motivation for research and development, and technology innovation would stop."

"Compared to the social issues, the fairness of the competition is just a trivial matter."

Hermione raised her eyebrows slightly at that.

There was some truth in what Andy was saying, and while it was still a bit off-putting, it was at least acceptable.

Andy laughed, "Hermione, if you want to change the world, then work hard to become Minister of Magic!"
