Andy went through the manuscripts left behind by the Slytherin, and finally reconfirmed that magic transfiguration didn't have the same requirements as traditional Transfiguration - it wasn't necessary to construct the object you wanted to transfigure in your mind when performing magic transfiguration.
"Animagus doesn't seem to have that requirement either ..."
Andy recalled the requirements for Animagus transfiguration.
It was true that Animagus did not have this requirement when transforming into an animal for the first time. It was only when turning from an animal into a human form for the first time that one needed to visualize their human form in their mind.
With practice, an Animagus can switch between animal and human forms at will through imagination.
A skilled Animagus doesn't even need a wand to complete the transformation.
"Hmm ... is it because there is no image constructed in the mind in advance, that's why Animagus and magic transfiguration are random and uncontrollable?"
Andy put down the manuscript and rubbed his temples.
If Andy could think of this, there was no reason why the Slytherin couldn't.
He had devoted most of the latter half of his life to studying magic transfiguration, so it was unlikely that he had failed to notice that magic transfiguration did not require the basic requirement of Transfiguration.
So that means, imagining one's own body structure in one's mind ahead of time when performing magic transfiguration - this method wouldn't work.
"It really isn't that simple!" Andy had a bit of a headache.
There was no record of the test results in the Slytherin's manuscript, and the hidden danger of magic transfiguration was difficult to avoid.
These were the two trickiest problems right now.
'It seems that I can only add points!'
Andy opened the system panel.
The [Charms] talent had now been increased to [7] points, which was enough for now, and could be shelved aside for the time being.
Andy's first research topic - the fusion of mind and magic power - has also achieved significant success so far.
Continuing to add the [Mind] attribute might make the Patronus Charm even more powerful, and even the [Will] attribute might have an augmentation effect on the Patronus Charm as well.
But Andy did not need to fight at the moment.
What Andy needed was to grow, as well as determine his future direction.
Moreover, Andy had a feeling that the [Will] attribute could be improved through exercise.
As for dark magic ...
An initial grasp of dark magic was all that was needed, Andy currently had no intention of studying it in depth, nor was he prepared to use it as a regular means.
As for other attributes ... Hogwarts didn't have an alchemy class, and the divination class wouldn't be available until the third year.
Andy placed his eyes on the [Thinking] attribute.
[Thinking: 3]
An average aptitude, not outstanding, but not mediocre either.
It was enough before, but with Andy's study of magic becoming more and more in-depth, Andy felt that his thinking was somewhat unable to keep up.
It was like going to school.
As long as one studied hard in elementary school, the gap between geniuses and ordinary people would not be too different.
Because all those knowledges are very simple.
But as we continue to go to school, the knowledge we are exposed to becomes more and more difficult and complex. Many people will then realize that no matter how hard they try, it is difficult to understand that knowledge.
Andy was in such a situation now.
It couldn't be fixed just with hard work, Andy needed to improve his [Thinking] ability to assist him in understanding high-end magic knowledge.
[Potential Points: 2]
After practising for this period of time, Andy had already saved two [Potential Points], and raising the [Thinking] attribute required four [Potential Points].
Andy did some calculations.
If there was no accident, Andy would be able to raise the [Thinking] attribute to [4] points around Halloween.
Moreover, raising [Thinking] would also help to construct an image in his mind, which would also help a lot in Transfiguration.
Andy studied for a while and finally made up his mind, 'I'll raise the [Thinking] attribute next!'
Let's raise it to five points first.
***
In the chamber of secrets, Andy read a book, practised magic for a while when he was bored, and continued to read when he was tired ...
Without realizing it, the time had come to midnight.
"Ha-"
Andy yawned.
"I'm sleepy so early today ... Too tired?" Normally, Andy could stay up until after two o'clock in the middle of the night on Friday.
After tidying up the lab, Andy put the materials that needed to be taken away into the bag under the Undetectable Extension Charm.
Just as he was about to head back to his dorm room ...
"Right!"
Andy suddenly thought of something and took the marauder's map out of his pocket.
"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
Andy recited the incantation and thought to himself, 'Will Harry and Ron make their move tonight?'
On the map, many names were clustered around the locations of the Four Houses' dormitories, so trying to find a few people in the castle was a breeze.
In the middle of the night, all the professors had returned to their rooms, and the only faculty member still working in the castle was the dutiful Filch alone.
"It's really a bit of a stretch for Dumbledore not to give Filch a raise," Andy muttered.
"Well ... let's check out!"
Andy swept his eyes over the map.
Probably because tomorrow was Saturday, there were quite a few young wizards out on a night out tonight.
Andy quickly spotted a few names.
Harry Potter and Ron Weasley!
Their names had been moving around and had now come from the fifth floor to the fourth.
George and Fred followed not far behind the two.
The twins were a real pain in the arse, they didn't want to dampen their brother Ron's enthusiasm for the night out, but at the same time, they didn't want anymore points to be deducted from Gryffindor.
So, what could they do?
They could only follow silently.
The four of them, two in front and two behind, soon arrived at the ground floor of the castle and were currently making their way towards the underground floor.
"Well ..."
Andy glanced at the marauder's map in his hand.
Back then, in order to go to Snape's office to steal the potion materials, the Weasley twins had given Andy the marauder's map.
The map was indeed useful.
But for the current Andy, the marauder's map was no longer very useful.
After all, it was only a map of Hogwarts.
Andy was already very familiar with Hogwarts.
The changing rules of each staircase, the location of each secret passage, and even the Slytherin Chamber of Secrets, as well as the Room of Requirement, which were not on the marauder's map, Andy had already found them.
As for the night trip ...
Dumbledore and Snape are no longer that scary.
Filch was even easier to deal with.
'Let's give it back to them, maybe they need this map more than me right now.' Andy thought in his heart.
Walking out of the chamber, Andy looked at the map while walking towards where the Weasley twins were.
They were on the ground floor and Andy was on the second floor, not far from each other.
A corner near the entrance of the underground floor.
Andy used the Disillusionment Charm to conceal his figure and pointed his wand in his hand at a certain location in the corner.
"Finite!"
To scare them, Andy also purposely changed his voice to recite the incantation.
In the darkness, the figures of George and Fred slowly emerged.
