The elf picked up the tag and handed it to Silax. He reached out and accepted the tag, its surface cool against his fingertips, then he flipped it over.
The back, unlike the front etched with arcane runes, displayed clear inscriptions. Silax's name stood out prominently, followed by a designation – "Light-Elf" – and his power level underneath it. A thin red band encircled the edge of the tag.
"The tag is practically indestructible. It's designed to withstand harsh environments and the rigors of battle. More importantly, it stores all the information needed to identify its owner. This serves a dual purpose. In case the tag is lost or stolen, its magical signature can be traced back to you." She explained, her voice taking on a more practical tone.
