Yvonne walked to over to where Eric had landed. He had crashed into some sort of glass decoration, he was sprawled on the floor surrounded by fragments of glass.
Eric's wife who had been stunned by the abrupt attack began to scream, causing Yvonne to turn her attention to her.
"Could you please shut her up." Yvonne said to Silax.
Silax approached the wailing woman, in a quick motion, he raised his hand and the edge of his palm connected with the base of her skull.
The impact was eerily silent. The woman's scream was cut short, she crumpled to the floor, unconscious.
A strangled cry erupted from Eric.
"Monica!"
He scrambled to reach his wife but was met by the heels of Yvonne crashing into his chest for the second time tonight.
"Stay down Eric. If you want your wife to wake up whole, you'll cooperate."
She planted her feet squarely on his chest, grinding her heel into his sternum.
