Silax closed the lid to the box and placed it on the desk.
"How much did this cost you?"
Tyla shook her head, a smile still lingering on her face.
"That's not important. I believe it's nothing compared to what you deserve."
Silax's face still remained vacant of any expression.
"You didn't have to."
"I know that, but I thought it was the perfect gift for you. I've seen you practicing the etching of runes. You're still an Initiate, so etching runes would be extremely difficult considering the amount of Orenda you have. This helps eliminate that problem."
Eventually he smiled and thanked her for the gift.
"Thank you Tyla, I really appreciate. I'm going to put it too good use."
