Chereads / The After Story / Chapter 6 - Work PT 1

Chapter 6 - Work PT 1

The Morning Sun was rising as there were few Sun-Rays landing on the Valley of the Village. One of these rays landed on a Yurt far from the Village. Inside the Yurt is a Young Man alone as he starts to wake up when the light hits his eyes. He sits up and stretches his body, wincing a bit as he still feels some sharp pains from the Garuk-Nai Attack. Whether it was physical or mental he doesn't know he still felt the effects nonetheless.

As he stands up he sees the inside of his empty Yurt, a dusty Pot in the middle with coal, ash, and wood that hasn't been used nor changed, an empty bed on the other side of his home. Boxes, chests, a small kitchen with an oven, and cabinets all empty and dusty. The day before he had cleared out Webs in his home before he started his training session and wished the Knights and Soldiers goodbye. He gets dressed in a short tunic shirt with black pants and boots while he looks at his padded tunic, breastplate, greaves, and gauntlets that were hung up. He gets his sword that's in its scabbard and buckles it on his belt to his hip.

"Takara... Are you awake?" An elderly voice from outside his Yurt called out before lifting the sheet door to his home.

"I'm awake Chief..." Takara said slowly, opening a box of brushes and a broken besom that made him sigh.

The Elderly Man enters his home and looks around the place seeing all the dust and taking in the lonely feeling.

"Just so you know, Since we are down in manpower; You'll also be necessary to help around the village."

"I understand that." Takara said with a sigh as he placed the broken besom underneath the big pot.

"That means you'll have to Shepherd the sheep, hunt and-"

"With all due Respect Chief Jochi. I believe my services will be better suited for defending the Village and working at the Lumber House." Takara said, bringing out a Chisel in his hands before looking at the Chief.

"We'll just have to hire a Carpenter from other villages. Nobody here would want your work anyways. Besides, the knights have taken care of that Garuk-Nai nest. So we don't have anything to worry about now. Matter of fact we don't need to rely on you at all. You should leave here but since you decide to stay you might as well do the tasks I give-"

"You're wrong."

"Excuse me?" Jochi asked, raising his eyebrow at Takara who put his chisel in the box.

"My family had a line of men who built these Yurts of this village. I can fix things here, I can make more. I even learned more in these past three months I left to fight in that war. This is how I can help the most. Also the Garuk-Nai are like parasites you'll never know when they'll return, and it's not just them. You may not know this but things are changing out there. It's not just Garuk-Nai but there are Raiders as well out there. And I can teach these skills if only-"

"No! That's out of the question! With few men we have left we must build up what we can. We have plenty of young men as well all around your age. Besides... You think anyone would learn anything from you? It's because of you my grandchild lost h-"

"That wasn't me and you know that. Have you forgotten that I lost too? If you want to keep them all safe..." Takara looked down for a second clenching his fist to push himself to speak up.

"Then please I beg you, convince them to see past-"

"It will never work." Jochi interrupted Takara as his anger was growing as he headed to the door.

"You are a cursed child... Your mother had a curse too! It's a Generational Curse that can't be undone. Much like her... You will end up dying alone and forgotten. So do as you please but know what I really want is for my people to be safe... From You." Jochi says as he leaves Takara's home who simply held his head down.

"Hah... I don't believe I'm the threat... But I will protect my home from threats... Once this place is clean of course." Takara said looking at his home then to his Besom as he grabbed his Chisel and left for the lodge.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ok Mom, is that all our dirty Laundry?" Hisuinome asked as she stacked clothes inside a Bucket as Kouki held a Washing Board.
"That should just be about all we have. The Chief asked to speak with me today So make sure the clothes get done." Nomin said, walking up to them before she saw something off.
"What's wrong Mom?" Hisuinome asked as her Mom touched one of the beams.
"The wood's getting rotten... We need to get this replaced." Nomin said as gently scratching the wood making sure not to get a splinter as they saw some wood pieces fall out of that spot.
"Oh no... This Yurt is pretty old and was here before we came across this village. Unfortunately this village doesn't have a Carpenter. Hah... If only Dad was here."
"Yea he would've ripped this entire place up and built it back up from scratch." Nomin said with a small giggle and blush as she spoke about her late husband.
"Yup that sounds like Dad for ya." Hisuinome smiles looking at her Little brother as he smiles at her.
"Hehe. Well hopefully it won't get too bad. It'll take a month for the nearest Carpenter to arrive in this village." Nomin said as she and her children walked out of their Yurt.
"Hm..." Hisuinome put the bucket down making sure she got everything before looking at the Yurt in the distance she knew belonged to Takara.
"You're curious aren't you?" Nomin asked, looking at Takara's Yurt as well.
"There has to be more to his story. I didn't like the one Mekara told us... To me it seemed... Too one sided... I want to ask him but... I don't know if I should." Hisuinome said with a sigh as she stood up with the Bucket.
"He is a reserve boy for good reasons. However, what's stopping you?" Nomin asked with a smile as she crossed her arms.
"Well... You saw how they reacted yesterday... Should I-"
"Hisuinome..." Nomin said, interrupting her by placing her shoulders on her hands.
"I don't care what these people say or think. I only care about what you think and say." Nomin said with a smile as Hisuinome nodded with a determined smile.
"I think... We should see if Takara needs any of his clothes cleaned!" Hisuinome said as her mother giggled a bit.
"Go and check, It's still very Early in the morning so you have time." Nomin smiled as Hisuinome nodded and picked up the basket and headed to Takara's Yurt.
"Are we seeing the nice man?" Kouki asked, holding the washboard over his head.
"Yes we are. We should do something nice for him since he saved us." She said with a smile as they made it to Takara's Yurt.
"Ok here goes-"
"EXCUSE ME NICE MAN! WE WANT TO HELP YOU!" Kouki yelled out barging into Takara's Yurt loudly, shocking his older sister.
"Eck! Kouki! What're you doing you can't just barge in here... And he's not home..." Hisuinome said, rushing inside as she grabbed Kouki's hand and looked around the Yurt as curiosity took over as she held Kouki's hand.
"Hisu Hisu! Look, look!" Kouki said impatiently, hugging his sister as he wanted to show her something while looking at the dust in his Home, and the Broken Besom underneath the cooking Pot.
"Kouki..."
"Oh sorry... Hisuinome please look at this!" Kouki said as his sister saw him point to the armor that was hung up on a stand that stretched out his uniform and armor to be neat.
"It's the cleanest thing here so far... This tunic could use some cleaning though... This is cool Kouki... But we should really leave he's not-"
"What're you two doing here?" A young Man's voice asked in the doorway; he had an axe sling over his shoulder, a hand on his hip as the sheet door flopped about after he had entered.
"O-oh! Hi sorry but my little brother sort of barged in here and-"
"But you wanted to help the nice man clean his clothes!" Kouki interrupted her as Hisuinome jolted a bit.
"Hey! I'm talking here, and you didn't have to barge in ok?... Ehheheh sorry about that... Hm... Well he is right... Look I'm sorry for coming in without permission..." Hisuinome said with a slightly nervous face as she rubbed the back of her head. "Oh this is so awkward..."
"You... Wanted to clean my clothes?" Takara asked gently, putting the axe down as he grabbed something wrapped in cloth from his back and walked to the table in his home.
"Well if you need any help cleaning. I know it's a bit dusty here, so if you want I... We can wash your clothes." Hisuinome said, looking at her brother as he smiled the moment she included him.
"Hm..." Takara didn't speak as he looked at his Yurt and a rack of clothes across his bedding area.
"I can... I can clean them... But... Thank you for the offer. And it's ok... As long as you didn't steal anything." Takara spoke up looking at Hisuinome then Kouki with his usual stoic tone.
"Oh ok. And thank you for not getting angry." Hisuinome said with a small bow as Kouki followed suit. When she looked up she saw a chisel on his belt the opposite side his sword was on.
"It's no problem. You did nothing wrong." Takara said softly, turning around as he unwrapped a Bosen that looked incredible and new.
"Woah... Takara... D-did you make that?" Hisuinome asked him to walk closer to look at it.
"Hm... Yeah?"
"It looks Amazing!" Hisuinome smiles as Takara can see her uncovered eye sparkle in amazement.
Time seemed to have stopped for a moment when Takara saw her face look at what he created with child-like amazement. It felt nice to Takara, it was a feeling he wasn't used to as it was very rare for him to receive praise from someone else.
"Oh... Thank you..."
"It's really good Takara! Oh... Sorry hehe it's no problem. Hey if you did this... Then are you a Carpenter by chance?" She asked him as she stood closer to him and looked up at him.
"Hm... Y-yes..." Takara answered her with a bit of a soft tone, slightly embarrassed by how close she was.
"Sweet! Hey I'll talk to you later ok? Bye bye!" Hisuinome said with a smile as she walked out excitedly with Kouki confusing the young man a bit.
"O-ok... What just happened?" Takara asked himself quietly as he looked at his clothes and then his new Besom.
"Hm..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As soon as Hisuinome and Kouki headed to the river after paying a visit to Takara's Yurt; Nomin herself made her way to the Chief's Yurt in the center of the Village as it was bigger than the rest of the Village. The Village has been getting to work as Nomin saw a few groups of women head to the river with their washing baskets, the young men walking, a few of the elder men grabbing shepherd's staff while a smaller group grabbed bows and arrows to hunt. Even with the loss of Twenty-Three Grown and Strong men the Village continues to thrive as everyone stays busy and the children play around the village or help their family with chores. Nomin had a smile on her face as it reminded her of her old village albeit Sheep Aria village only having one hundred and sixty-eight inhabitants, adults and children alike. It still felt like home to her and for her children she'll want to keep it that way. Before she arrived she saw Mekara exiting the Chief's Yurt.

"Oh hi Mekara, Good morning." Nomin said with a soft tone and her famous smile that scares Mekara.

"H-hai! G-good morning Ms. Nomin! Lovely day for a-"

"The Chief told you to work on the farm today, didn't he?" Nomin asked with a smile crossing her arms.

"Yea… But I -"

"Mekara… Hisuinome has her chores just like you. She'll never fall for a man who's lazy. My late husband was a man who did what he needed to do and he never ran away. He owned up and took responsibility. Do you think Hisuinome would fall for a man who's lazy or a man who accepts his own responsibilities?" She asked in a stern but soft tone.

"Understood… I'll head to the Farm then…Ehheheh It's good seeing you Ms. Nomin." Mekara nervously said, giving a quick bow to Nomin.

"Good seeing you too. Now run along and stay out of trouble." She said, crossing her arms as she watched him leave.

"Hah… right… Hello Chief?… I have a feeling I know why the Chief wants to talk with me." Nomin sighed as she walked into the Yurt instinctively letting out a breath to fight that horrible old-man smell that the Chief's Yurt had inside.

"Good morning Nomin, please have a seat." Chief Jochi said, lighting an Incense that Nomin recognized. It's an incense used to clear mucus from the nose and lungs, it didn't surprise her as the entire village knew. The Chief was getting ill in his elder years.

"Everything ok, Chief Jochi?" Nomin asked, sitting at the table he sat at.

"Hah… Not exactly… Mind telling why you were talking to Takara last night?" Jochi asked, looking at Nomin's eyes.

"Ah… Figures… Seriously, what has this boy ever done to these people? I was thanking him for saving my children. Any respectable parent would do the same." Nomin had stated with a closed eye smile.

"While I do not disagree with your motive. However I will not have you endanger yourself and your children with that monster."

"Chief Jochi. I'll worry about my children. Also for the record so. Calling a Young Man a Monster is a horrible thing to do."

"I'm sure the mother's and even Mekara had shared with you stories. It's not safe to be around Takara. Ever since he was conceived in his mother's womb nothing but trouble has come to this village." Joshi said as Nomin took a breath.

"So me and my family coming here was trouble then?"

"No I wouldn't say that. But that is why I want to prevent you from making a mistake you'll regret. Your daughter for example she-"

"She's what, Jochi?" Nomin said with a serious and narrow look in her eyes reminding Jochi of a Mother bear defending her cubs.

"It's an understatement to say that everyone in this village loves her one way or another. The boys are always dying to talk to her. She's a charming girl but she's very stubborn, rude, and bashful."

"Do you say that because she went out of her way to serve food to Takara and show him kindness where everyone else shouldn't? I've raised my daughter and I know she is. Stubborn she may be. The rest? Not a chance. So do not ask me to change her, I raised my daughter to stand up for what's right and what she believes in so I'll stand by her all the way through." Nomin says with a focused and thorough demeanor.

"I'm inclined to believe many of the boys would feel the same way in some areas. However, you should tell her to be careful with that Takara boy. He's always been too much like his Mother." Jochi said with a scoff in his voice.

"Is that so? If that's the case I will not assume the worst in that Boy." Nomin said with a shrug.

"I see where your Daughter gets her stubbornness from."

"I'll take that as a compliment Chief."

"Have you forgotten it was us that had taken your family into this village? Why must you show this attitude of yours?" Jochi asked as Nomin sighed.

"Back in my own village we had our own struggles however we overcame them never allowing petty squabbles to interfere with our lives. My Village's beliefs are very similar to this village however we believe in speaking life."

"Speaking life?"

"That's correct. As in Water face reflects a face, so the heart of a man reflects a man. You all don't really know what's in Takara's heart, I don't know but I saw a glimpse when he saved my children; and if you all keep calling him a curse, Speaking Death instead of Life then maybe he will turn out to be your worst nightmare." Nomin said with a somber and caring tone.

"He's already our nightmare. You just haven't seen it yet."

"To be fair Chief Jochi. Perhaps it's time you all wake up."

"How dare you -"

"Listen, I already lost one home. And I already lost someone very dear to me. I will not stand by and allow it to happen. Especially when this Village's best chance at survival is here being shunned by everyone. Call me arrogant, stupid, whatever you like. But I'm going to do what it takes to defend my children. Any parent should." Nomin said with a steel-focused look as Jochi breaks a cup, shocking Nomin a bit.

"That's enough for today…" He said as Nomin nodded and left the Yurt in Silence.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The early morning sun was lighting the village as the young women of the Village gathered at the river, some with their younger siblings helping all wash clothes as they took water from the river and into their baskets. Hisuinome and Kouki were next to two young women just about Hisuinome's age. Their names are Delbee and Sarnai, two friends of Hisuinome had made when they first came into the village. Delbee wore a pink Deel dress that has a petal design to it with short and straight black hair that fell a little below her cheek and covered most of her forehead. Sarnai was a little taller than Delbee, her black hair tied into a bun as she sported a white Deel dress with a Yellow Rose pinned in her hair as it enhanced her beauty.
"So you talked to Takara? And you took sweet Kouki with you?" Sarnai asked, patting Kouki's head as she sat across from Hisuinome and Kouki with her basket of water in front.
"Yea? Why is that a problem?" Hisuinome asked, with her hands in the basket of water washing clothes on her washing board.
"I think she's more surprised than anything." Delbee said, whipping a tunic to get some water out.
"Yea that. I'm more Surprised that Mekara didn't flip out. He hates Takara more than anyone else in this village." Sarnai says, putting some clothes into her water-filled basket.
"You know he almost did… Twice. He told me a story but I didn't like how one-sided it seemed. And After Takara saved us I'm not sure it's his fault." Hisuinome said, handing Kouki some clothes as he put clips on them and jumped up high enough to hang them on a rack they brought.
"I'll give him the benefit of the doubt… honestly when we were little we were pretty much raised to hate him. I never knew why, even when we all played together he was always distant." Sanrai said with a shrug.
"He's always been a topic of conversation even before he returned from the Three Month War. Well Him and Jargal were always the topic of conversation." Delbee said, catching Hisuinome's attention.
"Jargal?"
"Oh right. He's… Mekara's Older brother… He was one of the men who left and… Didn't return…" Sarnai said quietly with a bit of a hurt tone.
"Sarnai did you-"
"Yea I liked Jargal a lot. He was sweet, compassionate, brave, and-"
"Incredibly handsome~" Delbee chimed in, making Sarnai blush a bit.
"Yes… That too… A lot of good men didn't return from that war…" She said as Delbee also looked down wiping a tear from her eye.
"Then I guess you both resent Takara then?" Hisuinome asked the two as they looked at her.
"At first… Maybe… After saving you; No… But I still wish it would've been Jargal, my father, and my brother over him…" Sarnai said taking some clothes out of the basket and clipping them on a rack.
"I-I see… I'm very sorry for your loss. Both of you… I know what it's like to lose someone…" Hisuinome said, looking at Kouki as he got distracted by a frog, eventually cheering up the girls as they all looked at him.
"Well anyways, what did you talk to Takara about?" Delbee asked Hisuinome as she shrugged.
"Nothing much. I offered to wash his clothes, but he declined." Hisuinome said.
"I guess he plans on doing them himself." Sarnai said, looking down the river.
"Yea I guess so. It is his choice after all. Still I know a lot of people might think I shouldn't talk to him but… There's just more to him than meets the eye…" She said not seeing Delbee follow Sarnai's same look down the river.
"I bet… You want to talk to him again?" Sarnai asked as Hisuinome nodded.
"Of course. There's so many questions I want answered. I just hate seeing someone being treated unfairly." Hisuinome said, handing Kouki another tunic.
"Well. There's your chance." Sarnai pointed down the river as Hisuinome looked and saw Takara with his own basket with several sets of clothes.
"Eh? I guess he's doing his clothes but… Oh no…" Hisuinome said with a soft tone confusing the other two girls.
"What's wrong?" Delbee asked as she helped Kouki hand up one of Hisuinome's deel dresses.
"He doesn't have a clothes rack… Or a Washing board with him… Excuse me for a second." Hisuinome replied as she walked over to Takara in the distance as the young man looked at his basket of very dusty and dirty clothes with a confused yet focused look.
"How does this process go again? I can't wash these clothes the same as the barracks… Ok So have Water in the basket-"
"You're deep in thought." Hisuinome states as she walks up to him making him jolt a bit.
"Y-yea… Did you want me to move farther away?" He Asked noticing the other women down the river, look at them.
"Why would I want that? I actually came here to ask if you wanted to take me up on that offer from earlier." She says with a soft smile
"I'm… Fine, I can do this with no worries." Takara said as Hisuinome nodded.
"I see. I also see a lack of Clothes Rack. And a lack of washing boards here." She said with a smile and her eyes squinting a bit.
"Hm… They weren't in my Yurt when I returned…"
"I'm sorry to hear that. But I have a Washing Board and a Clothes Rack and your Basket looks like it needs cleaning as well… You wouldn't want dusty muddy water Cleaning your clothes right?" Hisuinome asked with a sly and soft smile.
"Hrm." Takara grunts a bit looking to the side with a slight blush as the Young woman in front of him. Was correct.
"Look how about this. I'll wash your clothes and then you help me with a favor." Hisuinome said, picking up his clothes.
"A Favor?"
"Yup! Back home we have some rotten wood that needs to be replaced. Can you Help us with that?" She asked looking up at him tilting her head curiously as she gave him a soft smile.
"I… I can see what I can do." Takara sighs while rubbing the back of his head as looked at Hisuinome and away the next second.
"Then it's a deal. Come on, follow me." She says with an energetic step as she walks back to her friends and Kouki.
"Hm… You sure?"
"Yep! Oh please don't even worry about them. If anything I'll protect you!" Hisuinome said, flexing one of her arms and touching her flat bicep with her other hand. However, at that moment she realized she dropped his clothes.
"Hm…. Hehe Sorry sorry sorry… Ugh That's what I get for trying to sound cool!. Ehem… Ok here watch me and I'll show you how to wash your clothes." She said scrambling faster than Takara could blink as she picked up his clothes.
"Hm ok." Takara said in a low tone slightly confused as he was wondering what was going through her head.
"Hi Mr. Nice Man!" Kouki said out loud smiling as he waved at Takara who looked at the boy surprised and gave him an awkward small wave back.
"H-hi…" Takara said doing a small wave to Kouki.
"Hehe Mr. Nice Man, sit right here and watch." Hisuinome said, patting a spot next to her and her friends Delbee and Sarnai. Takara nodded and sat at that exact spot. He watched Hisuinome clean their clothes in silence making sure to not make eye contact with the other women who around the river kept glancing at him and Hisuinome as she taught him how to clean their clothes.
Delbee and Sarnai were the two who kept most of their attention on Takara and Hisuinome. It was mainly out of wariness that they watched Takara and he knew it. But he knew his intentions, thus he kept his eyes on Hisuinome's hands and the clothes, seeing how she scrubs the dirt, dust, even the black blood that remained on some of his clothes from the small skirmish of Garuk-Nai.
"You know… I'm curious… Being a soldier you must've had some experience in cleaning your clothes." Hisuinome asked curiously. From her tone Takara knew she was asking a legitimate question and not one out of mockery.
"Well… When training had started for us… It was Extremely rough… As for Cleanliness, They had these devices that could clean our uniforms pretty quickly… However We rarely used it as we were always fighting."
"Oh ok… You said training was rough… how come?"
"Hm… They wanted us all to be ready to fight for our lives quickly. So the first Eight weeks our training grounds would be near an active battle zone. Sometimes while we trained we'd be attacked by Marauders and Garuk-Nai. Through that experience we received our training… It was a way for them to turn us weak soldiers into strong ones… It worked for a time…" Takara said with a low tone, folding a tunic Hisuinome just finished cleaning.
"That sounds… Awful…" She said as Takara saw sympathy in her face.
"It was… But if it wasn't for that… I wouldn't have survived." Takara says with a sure look on his face.
"In that case… I'm glad it made you stronger." Hisuinome said with a smile the bang that normally covered her right eye revealed her right eye as Takara could see the sincerity in her eyes, and hear it in her voice. Despite the butterflies he currently felt in his stomach he simply nodded to her with his normal and stoic disposition.
"What's happening?" Sarnai asked Delbee quietly as the latter simply shrugged.
"Mr. Nice Man! Can you help me hang this up?" Kouki asked Takara as the young man nodded and helped the little boy hang up a deep dress on their clothes rack.
"Hank you Hehe!"
"Kouki…" Hisuinome said as the boy chuckled again.
"Sowy… Thank you Mr. Nice Man!" Kouki said again to Takara as he nodded at the boy.
"It's… No problem…"
"Hehe. Give me a moment and we'll head to my Yurt." Hisuinome said with a smile gently poking Takara's cheek.
"O-Ok…" He said slightly caught off guard as he touched his cheek.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Not long after they were done at the River they went to Hisuinome's Yurt where they saw Nomin inside.

"Oh hello there Takara. This is a surprise." She said with a small smile.

"Y-yeah. Your Children helped me clean my clothes." Takara said with a nod.

"Did they now?" Nomin asked, looking at Hisuinome and Kouki who gave their mother sweet smiles.

"We sure did. And He's going to help us with our Rotten Wood problem!" Hisuinome said walking up to Nomin and Takara.

"Hm? Can you help?" Nomin asked Takara as he nodded.

"Yes I can. Growing up I read and learned how to build Yurts and fix them… And thanks to my time in service I became a certified Carpenter." Takara said as Nomin held her chin.

"Out of curiosity Takara, does your family have a long history of Carpentry?"

"Yes ma'am… My… Grandmother taught me the basics and had me study books on it when I was younger... No one typically goes to the Lumber House. So I've been able to learn my way around wood. I fixed my Yurt several times before I left for the war." He said looking at Nomin in the eyes as she held her chin.

"I see. Well, tell me what you can do. Here's the Beam." Nomin said, showing Takara the beam as he observed it, the frame of their Yurt, and the condition of their frames.

"This is an Easy Fix." Takara said as Hisuinome smiled and walked up to him.

"Is it?" She smiled, making Takara blink twice before he focused back.

"Yeah. This one is built a lot like my Yurt… I know the measurements well… I can get this replaced by the end of the day."

"R-really?! That'll be great. How much?" Nomin asked while Takara shook his head and held up his hand.

"Nothing… Hm… I… I want to do this as Thanks…" He said looking at Nomin and Hisuinome.

"Is that So?" Nomin asked, seeing Takara and Hisuinome exchange looks as her Daughter nodded and smiled at Takara.

"Y-yes… I'm sure." Takara said as Nomin smiled and let him go get the materials.

"You managed to convince him." Nomin said to Hisuinome as they both stepped outside the Yurt.

"We're merely exchanging favors. After talking to him for a short time I have a better understanding of him. Part of this is a favor to me. However… He genuinely wants to help… So much so he forgot his clothes here." She said picking up a basket with his Clothes as Nomin Giggled seeing this.

"How sweet. Leave his clothes here. We should make him something tasty to eat so he can have a nice meal once he's done." Nomin said as Hisuinome nodded.

"I might have an idea… Let's make Tsuivan."

"Oh? Want to get some lamb from the Shepherds?"

"Sure. We needed more anyway." Hisuinome said with a smile, setting Takara's basket inside their home and went off to the Shepherd's fields.
