Matthew's agent, John, sat down with him in his office, a serious look on his face. "Matthew, I wanted to talk to you about the transfer offers we've received for you."
Matthew's heart raced as he leaned forward, his mind racing with possibilities. "Which clubs?" he asked, trying to sound calm.
John pulled out a folder, filled with papers and documents. "Well, we've received offers from Barcelona and Juventus. Both clubs are interested in signing you to a long-term contract."
Matthew nodded, impressed by the interest from two of the biggest clubs in the world. But as he listened to John's summary of the offers, his mind kept wandering to Manchester United, his favorite club growing up.
"John, what about Manchester United?" he asked, trying to hide his excitement.
John shook his head. "Nothing yet, Matthew. But we can expect an offer from them soon. They're always slow to make their moves in the transfer market."
