A young guy in his early twenties is walking home from highschool he gets home passes the elderly man he stays with and heads straight upstairs and into the shower before appearing dowto eat dinner. This young lad was known as Levi West.
Levi; Hey Unc.
Old man; You punk, have you no respect for your elders!
Levi; Mm-mm
Old man; How was school? Talk to anyone?
Levi; Why would I bother?
The old man scolds Levi about his vulgar attitudes towards relating with other people especially at his age level, originally Levi wanted to skip school but he knew the old man even with white hair would beat it into him so he went willingly, Levi had been in that establishment for some time and in his class there was a transfer student who went by the name Jaime and for some unexplainable reason had a more annoying to him than the others.
Levi as always gets through another blunt school day with his solitude and his music and heads straight to his napping tree at a corner of the school yard by the entrance he was almost gone into another reality when a heavy thud against the tree, shaking it up and also waking him he looks down only to notice Jaime was being bullied by bullies.
Beaten up but Levi could hardly care less but these bullies disturbed his peace and they were gonna get it until a certain sound catches his ear, a sound like a match stick striking against it's match box then he decides to quickly jump down and interfere, the bullies saw they had disturbed and immediately fled and it was just himself and the new kid.
Jaime was lost for some seconds wondering if this guy had been there the whole of it but he recognized the face as Levi and having heard stories he knew whatever it was didn't really concern him, he apologizes to Levi like nothing ever happened and walks away, the other tried to call out to him but no words are said wondering what had suddenly come over him to want to associate with the kid. Nonetheless he flags it off as some dream or delusion from his stressful day and heads back to his house.
