He cultivated for hours...hours turned into days. And days quickly went by...
Finally his eyes opened...as a sharp glint flashed across his eyes.
"I have finally stabilized my cultivation." He muttered, as he immediately got up from his bed...only to be met with a defeaning sound that continously rocked against his ears.
"Who the hell could be banging the door in such a crazy manner." He murmmured as he immediately appeared before the door. As he opened it...only to be greeted by another heavenly abode disciple.
The disciple was a male with blue long hair, blue pupils and had a very refined body....even though he wore clothes...it still couldn't hide those perfect abs concealed within them...
'There has got to be some crazy strength packed within those muscles.' Fenix assessed with a narrowed brow.
But he didn't have to wait for too long...as the unknown disciple suddenly spoke.
"You have been summoned by the Heavenly Abode law enforcement elder." He immediately turned back...leaving Fenix alone...as it seemed as though he wasn't scared or afraid that Fenix wouldn't go and meet the law enforcement elder.
Who would even dare to do that...not even Fenix would so such a thing.
That was just the same thing as being stupid.
Right now he was only perhap seen as a suspect due to the fact that others probably saw her coming to his heavenly abode...so it would without a doubt raise some questions in the air... therefore if he really decided not to meet the elder...he would simply be admitting to the crime...and he knew the consequences. It would truly lead to his death.
Hence he had to go...he could only play along...
As long as he didn't tremble and acted well...he should be able to escape unscathed.
He had a wide grin on his face as he immediately freshened up...then got dressed. He immediately closed the door... his legs moved slowly across the verdant lushes of trees...as he headed for the Heavenly Abode Enforcement Hall.
Arriving before the enforcement hall...after some minutes of walking...one which he just saw as a means of sightseeing...at least he got to see various things he hadn't seen before...
But that was the least of the things on his mind right now. He immediately stepped into the Hall...his eyes easily pierced through the distance.
Coming to rest on an Elder that sat down on a wooden chair. The elder had long dark hair...deep black pupils and had a stoic expression on his face.
'Truly a righteous bastard.' That was the first thought that came to his mind upon seeing the elder.
The Elder had a cold look on his face...as he suddenly spoke.
"You have been accused of commiting a crime. Do you admit to your crime!" A terrifying pressure weighed down on Fenix. He felt as though a mountain had been placed against his back...as he could hear the sounds of bones cracking under the immense pressure.
'what a terrifying pressure.' Fenix had a narrowed brow.
As he immediately changed it...his teeth were being gritted as he spoke with seemingly great difficulty.
"I don't understand what the elder is talking about."
"Impudent!!!!" A terrifying pressure descended upon him...as the pressure seemed to be raised to greater heights. He could have used his intent to lessen the impact...but he knew that would only increase the chances of him being seen as the...killer.
Not to talk of the fact that...
He simply gritted his teeth as he felt his knees giving in to the terrifying pressure...yet he yield against kneeling...not to the Heavens'...then surely not to an ordinary mortal[when looked from a powerfuo cultivator's perspective.]'
The sounds of bones cracking and breaking under the immense pressure ranged out continously, as Fenix felt a terrifying pain assault him continously.
Yet he held on...as the voice of the elder suddenly rang out.
"Why did you kill her..."
"Elder...I have said it before...and will say it again. I don't understand what you're talking about. Kill who...I have been in my heavenly abode this whole time. So how could I have killed someone...
He had a raised brow as he further added.
"Except if the person had come to my heavenly abode and probably if I had a beef with the person previously...but the problem is...I didn't even see anyone appear anywhere near my heavenly abode...except for a disciple that came to inform me of your calling...and not to even talk of the fact that if I did see the person...why would I kill her...when she hasn't done anything to offend me. I just find it...crazy to believe in such a thing. Only a mad man...a sociopath would do such a thing. And I am no sociopath."
The Elder kept quiet for some slight seconds as he seemed to be assessing what Fenix had just said.
A figure suddenly appeared within the hall...coming from behind Fenix. It was the disciple that had previously appeared before his Heavenly Abode...
"Elder Santiel, i couldn't find any evidence against him. Perhaps he really isn't the one."
He whispered to the ears of Elder Santiel...as Elder Santiel gave a slight nod.
Before beaconing for the disciple to leave....
The disciple passed by Fenix as Fenix had a narrowed brow.
'Hmm...wonder what he just told the Elder.'
"Alright Fenix...it seems that you're innocent after all. But don't celebrate too early...if the Martial House later finds out that you have anything to do with the death of Synthia...am afraid you won't have it easy no matter what the higher ups think..."
'Higher ups...higher ups. Who exactly are these higher-ups. And it seems that the guy had probably checked my heavenly abode for traces of any fight...
He had a wide grin on his face which immediately got replaced by a cold look.
'How could he have found any traces of any fight...when there actually wasn't any fight in the first place. But that was the blind spot...a blind spot that they wouldn't have thought about. It was simply impossible for him to defeat the girl with a single move. Infact they wouldn't even think of that at all...it was simply impossible.
And this blind spot...and also thanks to the fact that his full strength wasn't made known to others. This two brought about a perfect combination...one that allowed him to completely escape from certain death.
"Alright. You can leave." Elder Santiel said.
As Fenix gave a slight bow, he immediately turned back to leave...only to be stopped in his track by a voice.
"Take this." Elder Santiel further added, as he threw a pill into the air.
It was easily caught by Fenix as the voice of Elder Santiel tore through the air.
"That's a Meridian strengthening pill. You can see it as compensation for the injustice that you have been subjected to."
"Thanks Elder." Fenix gave a bow with a wide smile on his face.
"No problem, you can leave." Elder Santiel sent Fenix away with a wave of his hands.
Immediately Fenix left the hall...someone slowly appeared from nowhere.
As Elder Santiel suddenly spoke.
"Am sure your Centiel Family has gotten the answer it wants."
"Hmph....don't think my Centiel Family would take it lying down so easily. Anyone who dared to kill my niece won't live to see another day." The man's voice lingered in the air...as he suddenly dissapeared from sight.
"Sigh...what an headache. I really have to find the one responsible for such a cruelsome deed." Elder Santiel muttered after a deep sigh....
Fenix could be seen transversing through a corridor. He had a wide grin on his face as he murmmured.
"Not only did I escape unscathed...I even got my hands on such a miraculous pill." A devilish grin spread across his face as he stared at the wondrous pill...
Sigh!
'I really have to thank that girl. If not for her...I wouldn't have gotten such a wondrous pill."
He murmmured as he further added in a sarcastic tone with a devilish grin on his face.
"May her soul rest in peace..."
