Rem's eyes snapped open, he was still floating around in the darkness – this wasn't an illusion like the grassland had been, this was entirely real. There was no platform for Rem to balance himself so he kept floating and the same thing would happen to anything and anyone who would be inside such a place… the laws of gravity were inherently denied.
Rem of course had a plan in action for this, he stabilized himself mid-air with his psionic power – this was one of his favorite powers.
"So what exactly is this Black void?" Rem muttered under his breath, floating by his own accord this time, a highlight of crimson energy engulfing his body. No matter how hard or how far he moved, it was like he hadn't actually moved at all – he made no progress whatsoever.
