Rem slashed a Spider Beetle for the umpteenth time upon entering the territory, his blade split the monster in half and left it's corpse splattering on the ground. The opening of the Spider's territory had been similar to a Cavern opening and it had led the party through a network of rocky paths, the party was yet to find the treasures that they were searching for.
'Seems like they won't be that easy to find as I thought,' Rem thought.
The more intelligent a Monster was, the more enlightened their treasures would be but it wasn't only about that, the harder it was to find it. If Rem had anything of value, he'd instantly stuff it in his Inventory since nobody would be able to find it from there but the same couldn't be said for Monsters which had no access to the inventory – they needed to hide their treasures from the eyes of prying raiders or even fellow monsters, and for this reason, their intellect comes in handy.
