Rem was sent skidding backward, his back smashing into a wall and creating a crashing sound loud enough to alert the camp – the Rune Hound landed on the ground only for the dust to clear and reveal Rem who had three vertical slash marks going through his right arm, blood profusely rushing out of his wound.
Rem's palm only tightened around the weapon as his eyes found the Rune Hound, poised in a combat stance. His eyes kept burning within billowing green soul energy as he pushed off the ground in a burst of Flash movement, closing the distance between himself and the Monster instantly and bringing his Shortsword forward.
