Upon hearing the scream, Rem smiled at the man and clenched his palm around his shortsword – echoing with ethereal soul energy.
"Are you sure…?" Rem asked, his voice dripping with murderous intent, Ruby stared at Rem's face unable to comprehend his expression…..
'Is he… smiling?' Ruby thought while a shiver ran down her spine – she blinked, she had never seen him smile, yet he was and it gave her chills… Rem took a step forward and the pressure pressed upon them increased. With each step he took forward, he felt different to Ruby… more and more like a monster.
And then he stopped right in front of the "Captain", his Shortsword cocked… The captain's surroundings turned black, the murderous intent pushed against him like water, drenching him below in a sea of black… unable to breathe, unable to see.
