Rem glanced at the Magus, he expected the man to be lifeless but it was something much more dreadful – his vocal chords had been burned away, as well as his throat. Intense crimson flames poured out from the Magus's mouth and threatened to engulf him within their powerful heat but Rem's eyes flashed, he leapt backward with the help of Flash Movement – his figure vanished just as the blast of flames descended, roasting the ground below them. The Magus's body slumped to the side slowly after and Rem retracted his Soul sickle… the soul of the Magus flowed into his body and gave him a 20 point boost in Magic, but not only that, he had actually gotten a skill.
