At the same time, the wolf's powerful jaws snapped shut —
Only to miss entirely as Asrahoth twisted its body unnaturally, evading the bite by a mere inch.
Then, without hesitation, it retaliated.
Its massive arm shot out, grabbing the wolf by its throat before slamming it into the ground with a sickening crash.
BOOM!
A crater formed beneath the beast, dust and debris shooting into the air.
Rem barely had time to react before Asrahoth pivoted on its heel, kicking the goblin mid-air.
The tiny warrior soared backward, crashing against a ruined pillar, shattering stone on impact.
"Damn it," Rem muttered, clenching his fists.
Asrahoth had adapted.
It had recognized the goblin's speed and the wolf's raw power.
