The Vice-captain's proclamation caused Rem to turn to her, and he saw it – her eyes were burning with rage and her trembling palm held her sword, pointing it at him.
'There's hate in them,' Rem observed, she looked exactly how he looked when he had lost his father, 'Did she take a liking to the Captain?'
Soul energy burst to life around her sword.
"I'll kill you!" She cried out but Rem didn't pay any more attention to her, he had gotten his revenge and he needed to move on – observing the System panel in front of him, he absorbed Yokama's soul and got his skills.
The others, especially the members of the attacking force were on guard… their weapons drawn and their eyes fixated on Rem's next move.
Rem stood up and looked at them; they wouldn't be able to cause him that much trouble even if they came at him at their full strength. His eyes soon left them and wandered over the horizon, he saw something… A strange crooked mountain.
