Rem immediately noticed the irregular changes in Tero's soul energy, with goblins – the output of his soul energy would be low and enough to impale the goblins with relative ease but with the Blood scorpions, the output of his soul energy would increase to a point where he could impale and damage the Blood scorpions with ease.
That was a massive feat because he was easily able to counter the Thick skin of the Blood scorpions… so Rem arrived at a conclusion.
'His soul energy varies in intensity depending on the Opponent he's faced with,' Rem thought… in other words, Tero's soul energy was adapting to the Monsters he faced, making it easier for him to bring them to their end.
Rem planted his feet into the ground, his eyes locked onto the last opponent – a Blood scorpion. Rem moved forward, pouring soul energy into the Shortsword as he aimed for the eye, stabbing his blade deep and drawing it back.
