While Lu Anru readily agreed with her mouth, her body remained motionless on the wooden stool.
White Horse waited for a moment, realizing that Lu Anru was just being perfunctory. With a tolerant expression, he asked, "Lovely girl, are you worried about not finding the right path?"
Lu Anru shook her head. Regardless of the truth, she could choose to find the exit and leave, re-entering the secret room where tasks were assigned.
Such situations were usually not considered unless there was absolutely no clue. Since the situation here was clear, there was no need to change.
While shaking her head, her gaze remained fixed on Snow White's face.
Just as White Horse was about to speak, Lu Anru raised her hand first, making a stopping gesture towards him, and picked up the European porcelain cup, tilting her head back to drink all the tea in the cup.
Setting the cup back down steadily, she waved at White Horse, showing a polite expression.
"Please continue."
White Horse was stunned, a hint of suspicion flickering through his mind as he pursed his lips. The words were already at the tip of his tongue, and Lu Anru's trusting attitude didn't seem like an act.
So he reverted to his caring big brother demeanor, softly saying, "I can have one of my rabbits guide you."
"Oh, so the rabbits are the ones you raise," Lu Anru said meaningfully as she gazed at White Horse.
Faced with Lu Anru's cold and piercing gaze, White Horse hesitated for a moment, suppressing the urge to shake his head, and replied, "Yes, lovely girl."
"OK, I've had my fill, and I'm ready to get down to business. Let's go."
Lu Anru's hand moved to the silver tray, preemptively drawing it out to block the plate Snow White angrily flipped.
White Horse panicked, turning to hold Snow White's shoulder.
Although she was a frail and delicate woman, she burst out with a powerful force, even more domineering than when she had burst through the door.
With a twist of her body and a push of her arm, she easily broke free from the restraint on her shoulder, reaching out to grab Lu Anru's neck with both hands.
Lu Anru dodged to the side, lowering her body and raising her sword, but Snow White leaped over her head, seizing the opportunity to stab her in the back as she landed. The blade struck Snow White's side accurately, staining her pale yellow dress red in an instant.
Although she succeeded in her attack, it didn't have the desired effect. Snow White stood tall like a steel warrior, only wrinkling her brows in pain, then turned around to block Lu Anru's retreat and launched another attempt to choke her.
The two clashed head-on, and the outcome of their strength was immediately apparent.
If it weren't for the height advantage, Lu Anru would have easily slipped through Snow White's arms and been caught long ago.
But don't underestimate someone who is only 1.5 meters tall. Several times, she relied on her petite convenience to deftly evade danger by skimming past sharp fingertips.
"Snow White, stop it, don't make mistakes again. She's not the witch in disguise."
White Horse hurriedly followed behind the two fighters, trying to reach out several times but couldn't match Snow White's speed, so he could only anxiously help Lu Anru find a way out.
"Lovely girl, I'm sorry, it's all my fault. Please leave. Go back to the forest the way we came, find the rabbit I raised, it can help you."
The juxtaposition of heartfelt persuasion and violent attack presented two starkly different paths, but it did not bring any warmth to Lu Anru.
Instead of stopping Snow White's attack, it only increased the ferocity of her assault.
Lu Anru wanted to run out and think things through, but it wasn't possible. Faced with Snow White, who had developed her own set of "Nine Yin White Bone Claws", she had no chance.
She wasn't crashing into "Sleeping Beauty" at all; she had clearly entered a classic drama by Mom Idol Jin Lao Ye. Seriously?
Sneering inwardly, she didn't hesitate to act to save her life. Rolling around, she crawled under the table and onto the floor. As long as she found a place to hide, she would definitely squeeze in. She had long abandoned her dignity.
The tables and chairs in the hall that had protected her were basically doomed, torn apart by Snow White's sharp nails.
Lu Anru rolled a few times and hid by the fireplace, using the iron pot as her last line of defense.
But from the densely pockmarked surface of the pot, it was evident that it had borne attacks that were inconsistent with its appearance and capabilities.
Snow White followed closely behind, and with two crosses, she split the pot into four pieces. Moving quickly, she grabbed Lu Anru's arm, pulling her out like a little chicken.
The last glimmer of hope faded from the girl's eyes as her hands weakly fell to her sides.
Snow White lifted Lu Anru's stained shirt collar, using a skillful technique, and pinched her neck tightly with two fingers of her right hand.
"Snow White, please spare the lovely girl."
White Horse rushed over, panting heavily. He dared not delay any longer, grabbing Snow White's hand and pleading bitterly.
"I promise you, I'll always be by your side. Let's not go back to the castle, let's live in our own happy little home. Lovely girl is not the assassin sent by the witch. Don't make the same mistake again."
As she increased the pressure of her fingertips, a sinister laugh suddenly rang out.
"Ha!"
The dim little face suddenly lifted, a sly gleam flashing in her eyes. Immediately, her arms wrapped around Snow White's arm, and with a sudden tug downward, taking advantage of the gap in Snow White's instinctive upward motion, she lowered her head and neck, thus narrowly avoiding the fatal blow.
Then, she flexibly twisted her body clockwise, the arc her arm could twist far exceeding the half turn already achieved by Snow White.
As all the ligaments in her arm began to ache, Snow White was already sweating profusely from the pain, and finally couldn't hold on and let go.
When she adjusted her strength again to grab Lu Anru, Lu Anru stood still in place without dodging or avoiding.
However, there was an extra hostage in her arms, the Silver Cang sword pressed against White Horse, threatening him in the exact same position where Snow White had just attacked her.
"You little rascal, you've been keeping a safe distance from us all along, I didn't have a chance to strike. No matter how many calculations I made, I finally caught you."
"Let him go!" Snow White roared angrily.
Lu Anru stuck out her tongue at Snow White, playfully saying, "Am I silly? Let him go?"
Her tender little hand deliberately slid the sharp edge of the sword along the neck, using an extremely insulting action to respond: "And don't try to scare me, be careful or I might slip."
"Lovely girl, I understand that Snow White has betrayed your trust, and you're very angry. You can kill me, but please promise me not to dwell on the fact that she just hurt you."
White Horse, with a deep sense of righteousness, turned the current situation between the two into a poignant tale: The Farmer and the Snake.
Unscrupulous Anru Snake didn't care at all and readily agreed, "Okay, I'll settle it with you now."
True to her word, she pushed the blade forward.
Snow White stood by, trying several times to snatch the sword, but fearing it might backfire and result in the sword being pushed further, she ultimately let the sword push forward, bringing an end to the ordeal.
With her hands constantly stretching out and clenching tightly, her voice hoarse with a desperate roar, "Let him go, I promise you, I won't kill you, you can go back the way you came."
From her restrained tone, one could tell she was very afraid of angering Lu Anru.
Lu Anru glanced at Snow White with surprise, sneering and asking, "Ha, no wonder you could deceive an apple. You really should improve your basic logical thinking. What's the point of dreaming big here? I've already found all the plk I needed. I can wrap things up soon, so why bother with the trouble of turning back?"
