The dim light of the infirmary cast shadows on Hruday's tired face as Michael and Roy entered the room. Hruday lay propped up in bed, his face drawn and pale from the wound, but his eyes were sharp, betraying a mind still keen despite his condition. Michael had been recounting the day's events, explaining in detail their attempts to set up the new digital inventory system and the ensuing chaos.
Hruday listened intently, his gaze focused on Michael. Despite his weakened state, he seemed to grasp the gravity of their predicament. As Michael described the desperate search for missing supplies and the unexpected discovery of their own room being tampered with, Hruday's brow furrowed in concentration.
Michael was outlining the sequence of events that happened this day trying to fegure out when this could have taken place , highlighting that they were using the app item managment tool and messing with the barcode generator.
"We had just started testing the CCTV feature of the app," Michael said, pausing as he realized something. "Roy, weren't we trying to connect the other devices and see how long the connection lasts and its range?"
Roy's eyes widened as the realization dawned on him. "Oh my God, Michael, we did connect the devices! We were testing the range and recording times!"
Michael's face lit up with a cunning smile. "That's it. We might just have our proof. If the Scout Leader yes because the last time we were inside there was no pile of empty lays packed so he must have come to the room
hruday chuckled haha that bastard wanted to trap us now he's the one who is trapped he dug his own grave
Roy said yes gritting his teeth i want to punch that demon eyes bunch criminal one and scout leader
The urgency in their voices must have conveyed something to Hruday, who nodded weakly but approvingly. Michael and Roy exchanged a determined glance, their plan forming swiftly.
They rushed to the storage room, their hearts pounding. Outside, they could hear Hector and the Scout Leader in a heated argument. The Scout Leader's voice was unmistakable, dripping with false indignation. "They've been hiding supplies! They're guilty, Hector. so from now on I will be in charge"
Hector's response was measured but firm. "We need to follow protocol. Let's see if they're telling the truth."
criminal 1 said What protocol you dumbass do point the fucking gun at us
haha Hector said were is the criminal 2 tho? did he run away scared that I would do something tell him that I do not hold grudges at all.
Michael approached Hector, his voice steady but urgent. "Hector, please, just give us a few minutes inside. We need to check something. We might find the proof we need."
The Scout Leader, sensing that Michael and Roy were up to something, protested loudly. "What are you planning? another trick!"
Hector, said seeing Michael's earnestness, relented. "Alright, but I'm watching you. he pointed his silver revolver at Scout Leader and Criminal 1, you to stay outside."
Micheal said Ahh Hector I would like you to guard us because I don't trust them they might lock us inside Hector nodded just before the scout leader protested hector pointed the silver revolver at them, finger on the trigger and putting his finger on the Barrel ready to turn the barrel as soon as shooting once, of course, shooting empty barrel
some noticed hecter pointing the gun and called other everyone came upside and then hecter explained the situation " this isn't what it looks like Michael is finding evidence here these guys weren't allowing it though some complained but were little hesitant because of the gun , his position and reputation of being fair
Michael and Roy entered the storage room, locking the door behind them. Michael's smile widened as he turned to Roy, who looked bewildered. "You know what, Roy? If they're accusing us, let's have a little snack. I mean, they accused us of hoarding food, right?"
Roy raised an eyebrow but followed along. "Seriously, Michael? then he quieted down "
Michael grabbed a packet of Lays from the nearby shelf, tearing it open and munching on a chip. "Whatever, man. We might as well enjoy it while we're at it. Let's find the evidence."
They moved quickly but deliberately, searching for anything that could serve as proof. As they combed through the room, Michael's eyes caught a suspicious glimmer behind a stack of boxes. He pulled them aside to reveal hidden phone devices, all connected to the CCTV system they had set up.
"Roy, look at this," Michael said, pointing to the footage being recorded on the devices. "The Scout Leader was in here!"
Roy's eyes narrowed as he saw the footage. The video showed the Scout Leader sneaking in and placing Lays packets and other supplies in strategic places, even eating a few. "He's planting evidence!"
The door banged open, and the Scout Leader stormed in, his face flushed with rage. "What are you doing in here? This is outrageous!"
Michael calmly turned to him, his voice cold. "Just collecting evidence. Looks like you've been caught red-handed."
The Scout Leader's face contorted with anger and fear as he saw the footage on the screen. "This isn't what it looks like!"
Before he could react, Hector and several others barged in, having heard the commotion. Michael pointed to the footage on the screens. "Here's the proof. The Scout Leader has been framing us. He planted the missing supplies in our storage room."
Hector's eyes widened as he watched the footage. "This… this is unbelievable."
The room erupted into chaos. The Scout Leader tried to defend himself, but his protests were drowned out by the growing chorus of voices accusing him of deceit. Michael and Roy stood their ground, their faces a mixture of relief and anger.
Hector took charge of the situation, his voice authoritative. "Everyone, calm down! We need to handle this with proper procedure. Scout Leader, Criminal 1—what you've done is unacceptable. We'll need to deal with this accordingly."
Criminal 1, who had been silent until now, attempted to escape but was swiftly apprehended by Hector's side men. The Scout Leader's face was a mask of defiant rage, but he was subdued and restrained.
With the immediate threat under control, Michael and Roy dragged Hruday with his bed out of the infirmary for a brief discussion. Hruday, though still weak, listened intently as Michael and Roy recounted the events, showing him the recorded evidence. Hruday's eyes narrowed with satisfaction as he saw the proof of the Scout Leader's treachery.
"This was exactly what I suspected," Hruday said, his voice faint but determined. "The Scout Leader was planning to undermine us from the start. I'm glad you found the evidence."
Hector nodded, adding, "It's clear now that the Scout Leader was trying to create division and confusion. His actions almost tore us apart."
also, we might have seen how he tried to take away hectors gun all the time he was always with those criminals demanding i really hadn't expected this
roy said yes he has been trying to control me at frist I did it out of respect now i see why
Micheal chimed in "I must confess here the thing I have been not telling you all because of the lack of evidence the scout leader had when we went to the hospital mission some of you might have noticed how i came running from the inside of the hospital it was because scout leader had deliberately trapped me by locking the hospital's medicine store door while I was giving oxygen tanks and other equip[emnt from their storage"
o"whh what whh" There was wave of small whispers of disbelief everytime they told something as they repeatedly saw the scout leader throwing trash and eating lays and sinking inside displayed in the computer monitor
Michael and Roy nodded, their expressions serious. "We need to move quickly to restore order and trust within the group. We can't afford any more internal strife."
As the situation settled, the Scout Leader and Criminal 1 were escorted out of the base, their fate to be decided by the remaining survivors. The mood was somber, but there was a sense of relief that the truth had come to light.
Hruday looked at Michael and Roy with a tired but grateful expression. "You've done well. Now, let's focus on rebuilding what was broken and making sure that we don't let anyone else sabotage our efforts."
Michael and Roy returned to their tasks, their spirits lifted but wary of the challenges ahead. The base was still standing, and they had managed to uncover the deceit. But the road to recovery would be long and fraught with new obstacles.
As night fell, the survivors began to regroup, their unity tested but not broken. Michael and Roy knew that they had to stay vigilant and work together to ensure that their community would not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity.
