Just as Ram began to feel the weight of disappointment settle in his chest, something unexpected happened.
A faint shimmer of light appeared in the air between him and Ling Xi. It lasted only a moment before a mysterious wooden token materialized out of nowhere, descending silently onto the table in front of them.
Both Ram and Ling Xi froze, their eyes widening in shock.
The token was beautifully carved, its surface etched with intricate patterns of vines and leaves that seemed almost alive. At its center was an emblem of a massive tree, its branches stretching outward in a protective embrace.
"Is… is this what I think it is?" Ling Xi stammered, leaning closer to examine it.
Ram reached out cautiously, his fingers brushing against the token's smooth surface.
"It has to be from Master Orion," Ram said softly, his voice tinged with awe. "There's no other explanation for this."
