It was the weekend, and Allie stayed at Evan's penthouse the whole morning while he was out playing golf with some friends. He had invited her to join them, but she said she didn't like playing golf or watching it and would rather stay at home.
The whole week had been pretty hectic with the changes to be made to the new software. The entire R&D department needed to work together, and it didn't help that Anna Myers and Harry Gilbert seemed to be hostile towards Allie.
She just paid no attention to them and focused on her work. Sometimes it was annoying, but Allie made sure that none of the annoying team leaders affected her work. She needed to be productive and couldn't afford to waste time.
After finishing her brunch, Allie stepped out of the kitchen and was passing by the living room when she noticed the TV was on, and Nina was sitting on the couch.
