Feng Suyin was taken aback. She hadn't expected that Ji Yuzhe would say such a thing to her. She knew that this marriage was out of convenience, and truthfully, she felt a bit guilty that she was using Ji Yuzhe to her own advantage. She was aware of his feelings, but she didn't think she was worthy of such devotion and dedication from him. However, she couldn't deny the warmth she felt upon hearing his words.
"That's kind of you to say," She whispered, lowering her gaze again.
"I'm your husband. It doesn't matter that this marriage started out as a mere agreement," Ji Yuzhe replied softly. "You don't need to deal with everything on your own."
"That's assuring to hear," Feng Suyin forced a smile. "Thank you, Ji Yuzhe."
None of them said another word until they reached Feng Suyin's apartment complex.
"If you need help moving to your new place, just give Uncle Jia a call, and we'll arrange it immediately," Ji Yuzhe said after a long silence.
