Alaric stepped onto the school grounds, headed for the library, but was knocked out by one of his bullies, Givonnani. Students burst out laughing as they watched him struggle back to his feet in agony.
Givonnani stepped back onto his feet, a gory sneer on his lips. Givonnani punched Alaric on the nose as he struggled to endure the internal torment he was experiencing. Blood poured out of his nose, but Alaric simply wiped it off and walked away.
"Fight back, you little nasty being. You stink like a pig; I wonder whether you have any clothes other than the ones you're usually wearing? Let me hand you a token, boy!" Givonnani blurted out and threw some money in his face.
Alaric took another step forward, but surprisingly the force of a broken vase was heard, it was slammed on his face by Givonnani. Alaric punched him in the mouth, starting a severe physical fight that lasted several minutes.
"What the hell is happening here?" Mr. Ben, the principal, used a harsh voice, causing them to split.
"Who started this fight between the two of them?" Mr. Ben asked, addressing his question to the students. To avoid Givonnani's fury, a student said, "It was Alaric," he openly affirmed.
"Yes, it was him,"
"He started it," Students shouted from various angles, supporting his cause. Mr. Ben felt enraged when he saw the vase worth $3,000 smashed. The victim would pay a high price for the damages.
"Alaric Hunter, you are to restore the school's property. If you don't do it within two days, you'll be suspended from school," Mr. Ben stated, storming out. Alaric strolled away without even a glance at his colleagues.
He knew Mr. Ben was a disciplined man, and that his inability to restore the school's property would eventually lead to his suspension.

Alaric remained on the rooftop, deciding that death was the only way to end his mysterious existence. The moment he lost his parents, awful things began to happen to him. Obtaining the sum of $3,000 is a risky endeavor for him. He doesn't even make half of that from his daily work.
As he attempted to jump down. Ding! A notification rang in his head.
{Congratulations, Alaric. You have accomplished a breakthrough. Level 1 can be attained using the following process}:
-Blood Quest: Drink blood every five hours. Do not show mercy to your victim; failing will cause you to suffer within.
-Desire And Lust: Fulfill your cravings on a daily basis, and keep your lust under control using your mind and emotions.
-Fangs: Try not to stay in a sunny spot. Host's understanding of how to utilize the weapon is still developing. It will make you lose control of your drive to kill.
"Who are you?"
I'm 'you,' and you're'me' I make you stronger and make your deepest wishes a reality. To be clear, I am your vampire system
Alaric moved backwards in streams, as if seeing a ghost in front of him, he said, "Am I a vampire?"
You have always been a vampire; you simply unlocked your system, which has a daily quest--the deadliest of them all--your innermost desires
"What do you mean, I am a vampire? My parents were human," Alaric yelled.
They may be human, but you are of the vampire lineage
"No, I am not. It is preferable to die than live in this world. I don't know you," Alaric cursed, crossing his eyes, and took a step forward on the rooftop edge. He had a flashback of how his parents had died. And he is hesitant to call his jump a goal.
Seems you're having a rethink; how about you do something to earn what you want
"Something like what?" Alaric inquired unwillingly; he believes the system is a live being, thus his voice was audible.
Restore the vessel within a brief timeframe. Just believe in yourself, and you will mend the vessel before the due date
"What the hell?!"

Alaric entered his workplace store; he works as a repairer in a less conventional engineering store. And you'll get paid $30.00 for every 5 hours.
His boss was overjoyed to see him; he was a well-spoken man who, for some reason, liked Alaric more than anybody else in the store.
"You're 5 minutes late, Alaric," His boss Massa remarked, waiting for an answer, "I'm deeply sorry, something urgent happened at school," Alaric replied honestly, and Massa merely smiled, "I understand, is there anything I can help you with?"
"I don't think you can. Don't worry, I'll figure it out. Just—"
"I demand; tell me, boy! I'm waiting," Massa remarked, mumbling his last word, "I was framed at school for breaking a vase worth the sum of $3,000,"
Alaric eventually whispered, grief lingering in his throat as he attempted to conceal his pain on his face.
"That's quite horrible. But I believe I can still help you," Masa responded, sliding his hand into his pocket and counting $40.00 before handing it over to him, "Dip it in; I'll give you a day off today. I'm sorry, that's the token I have; I know you work hard,"
"Thank you, Sir. I promise you a great job tomorrow, trust me," Alaric stated honestly, and Massa simply nodded in agreement. Alaric had been working for him for 5 years, and he knew Alaric never smiled, no matter how funny his statements were. He wished he would change over time.

Alaric could be seen sitting on his old mat within a gloomy, rough, and low-structure building. He could only avoid paying for the room by following the school program. He placed the broken vase in front of him and began attempting to glue it together.
"I can't fix the fucking thing," he cursed after attempting for several minutes and realizing nothing was speaking to him until he shouted out in desperation.
He begins loading pieces into a sack, but as he stands up, he notices the remaining piece of the broken vase drifting through the mist. It was repairing on its own, and Alaric observed his fingertips moving in sync with the power of the broken vase.
"Why is this moving? Is anyone here?" He yelled, but instead of his fingers returning to normal, the rate at which the vase came together accelerated, but he received an answer to his concerns.
In under 3 minutes, you've restored half of the vase. Your energy is insufficient to complete the restoration process. Host is suffering from lack of energy; finish the mission to restore your lost energy
Alaric lost his equilibrium and fell over his buttocks, "Are you still there?" he muttered, "I'll give you what you want, fucking let me be!"
