"Sigh is this what you really want Simon?" The baron asked, stressed out of what he just heard.
"Yes, I'm sure of it my lord" Simon answered full of determination.
The baron then glanced at his butler, seeking his input at the situation at hand, "You don't have to worry my lord, remember I managed to climb up to the tenth floor, I still have enough to live for two generations at most"
As the butler looked at his floating status window to confirm which was invisible to the others that were present in the room, so it looked like he was staring at nothing.

"Then from now on Simon, although I can't rid you of your seal, I hereby declare that you are absolve of your duties and that you shall be honorably discharged from henceforth" The baron declared with his butler next to him that stood as the witness for this ceremony.
The baron then provided the couple with a horse that was bred specifically to travel long distances, it had a mediocre speed, but it had a longer lifespan and rarely ever gets tired as it absorbs the nutrients from the grass several times more efficient than the others.
The baron also provided them with teleportation scrolls without any designated coordinates but rather the ones that selects the location by pointing it to the direction they would like to be teleported to, and as well as some camping materials and rations just in case of an emergency.
...
It didn't even take three days before Simon and Estella was ready to leave. So outside of the mansion, the baron saw them off, and watched them depart as the sun rose, he looked at the man's back like his parents did when he left, for the last time, as he'll probably never see him again.
Although he had wanted to keep him here because of his potential, the baron was a fair man, and if that is what he wanted to do with his life, he did not have any right in preventing him from doing so, thus the baron considered this as his final gift for him.
'Sigh I guess I'll have to explain this to the royals the next meeting, but it doesn't matter, I'll just find a new successor for the position of the guardian' As the baron went back into his office to do the unfinished works that he had left behind just like any other day.
And the rest was history.

"That's basically how it all happened" Simon said as he looked at Philip with a smile on his face.
'C-Crazy?!! all of that happened?' Philip thought in awe of the backstory his father just revealed.
"Do you know why I'm telling you all this? That is because I plan on passing down to you my sword technique" Simon said with a smirk on his face.
Then as they looked for wooden sticks and a suitable place to spar, Simon patted his son's head and said, "But if there's one thing you gotta keep in mind, this swordsmanship style has a big flaw, it's only used for dealing with humans, as such it is not suitable for fighting wild beasts who relies on their instincts to fight, but I'm sure you're not gonna have any problem based on how much stronger physically you normally are"
Simon then first demonstrated the basics of swordsmanship; he thought the proper posture when it comes to stabbing, slashing, blocking, swinging, and etc... Since a strong foundation is what matters the most.
Philip then imitated his father, beginning his path to learning the ways of the sword, also working up a sweat in the process not literally but figuratively.
Hap! Hap! Hap!
Swish! Swish Swash!
"Alright that's enough for today, why don't you go check up on your mom while I finish things up here?" Simon said contentedly, happy that his son also seemed to have a passion for the sword, as much as he did.
In which Philip immediately agreed to, "Alright father"
...
Creek!
Philip then arrived at the inside of their home, with his mother awake but still barely sober, so she began sleep talking, if that can still be considered sleep talking based on her current status.
"Ish that you Philp?" Estella asked sluggishly as her eyesight faded in and out.
"Yes, do you want some water mother?" Philip asked worriedly
"Forget about that and shit over here" Estella implored barely forming the words properly that were coming out of her mouth, as such some of the things she said could be misinterpreted, it's a good thing that Philip easily picks up on things.
("I'll just automatically fix and convert her words for you so that you don't get annoyed, my dear audience" The narrator narrated apologetically)
"A-Alright" Philip replied
Estella then began with, "Did you know how the love story of your father and I began"
'Sigh Not this again' Philip thought while expressing his disinterest through his face.
However, Estella misunderstood Philip's uninterested expression as an answer of no in her prior question, "I guess there's no way huh? Anyways it all began when I took on the role of vice chief of this village and was drafted to become a spy in the kingdom of humanity"
'What in the SpyxFamily?!!' Philip thought again breaking the fourth wall.
***
As I arrived at the inner walls of the kingdom of humanity and was admitted at the academy, I immediately started doing my job.
One of which was reporting to the Baldimore's and seeking help from them, a noble family where their founding ancestor was saved by my predecessors or the past vice chiefs, from then on, they vowed to help the village, so I was immediately granted scholarship by them.
A vice chief's job is bound to be bloody, as it is chosen by the village chief among the children that were to be sent to the kingdom of humanity, he begins by seeing those who can keep their mouths shut and are also the most prospective and loyal to our hometown.
If the chosen ones were to agree, the moment they become the vice chiefs they will begin collecting information in the kingdom of humanity, especially those who poses a threat to their village, as much as it is ironic, even though they are completely safe from the beasts that surrounds them because of the amulet, the looming threat of the other humans coveting their territory and invading them are much more likely to happen than the former.
Which is what us the vice chiefs try to prevent, by eliminating those suspected one by one until we retire.
So, on the surface I became a prospective archimage but on the shadows I was out there tailing and assassinating not just those who threaten our hometown but also those who threaten the Baldimore's.

"Amidst all of that chaos that happened around me to the point that I trained myself to become numb to it, your father just had step in and give me a reason to live and bring color into my faded world.
Perhaps because he was an innocent man who had only killed those who were evil, unlike me who had kill those who even had a chance to become innocent - No, I probably have already killed someone innocent, but that was what made me spark an interest in him, aside from the fact that we came from the same village and the two of us easily connected because there were things that only we understood as an outsider.
Suddenly, there were more important things aside from my hometown." As Estella all of a sudden cut her story short because she was interrupted by her hiccups.
Hiek!
"Anyways I'm glad that I can finally reveal my secret to someone that I've kept for years, thank you Phil-" As Estella began puking, it's a good thing that Philip had foreseen this and had already prepared a container for her.
'Crazy you mean that village chief that I referred to as an unassuming old man on chapter three was actually doing all that?' Philip thought to himself.
...
Meanwhile, after a few days had passed the carriage that the surveyor and the kids were riding was finally moments away from arriving at the kingdom of humanity.
"You're still going to give us the gold coins as promised right?" Estella's mother said not changing her irritated tone and face from the start, as if she had a constipation that kept on persisting throughout the day.
"Yes, you don't have to worry about that, I'm taking it out now" As the surveyor reached for something in the air, in the process his hands slowly got closer to the direction of Estella's mother-
"W-What are you doing? - A-Arggghhhhh!!! Splat!
But as it turns out, the surveyor was just actually trying to grab a fistful of her head to completely crush it to pulverize it.
"What did you just to do YOu Crazy BASTARD!!!" Estella's father screamed trying to attack the surveyor.
There were some few shakings in the carriage until it finally turned peaceful.
Shake! Shake!
Thump! Thump!
"Phew! I finally got to let out some steam" The surveyor muttered to himself before leaving the carriage.
"You kids go to the guards and present this plaque to get registered, and spend the rest of the day without me - here are some gold coins" The surveyor announced on the teenagers that can barely contain their excitement.
Thank you, mister!
Thank you, mister!
Thank you, mister...
One of the teenagers then pointed out something at the surveyor's clothes, "Mister you got a tomato juice spot at your back"
"Ahahaha I see thank you for pointing it out" The surveyor smiled back as the teenagers started running off.
'This is why I hate losing my cool, I thought I had enveloped myself with an airfield so that I don't get hit by any of the blood splatters, but as it turns out I missed a spot - how amateur of me' The surveyor thought to himself regrettably.
The carriage then got sucked in to the pocket dimension that the surveyor opened earlier, completely disappearing from the face of this world, never to be seen where it had arrived.
