Flashback,
"Mom, you guys always fulfill every wishes of Nivea. I also need a new pair of sneakers. The ones I wear are worn-out. Everyone makes fun of me. They call me names and I don't like this," the little Heaven whined.
Her parents helplessly looked at each other. They didn't have the money to buy her a new pair of sneakers.
They could barely find food to survive but they did get Nivea a pair of sneakers last month.
Ever since then Heaven has been running after them for one. Her's ones were in a worse situation but her parents failed in seeing that.
"My shoes even has a hole in them. I need new pairs," she cried out. And only then they realized that she was indeed telling the truth.
"Heaven, you are old enough to realize that we are poor. We can't afford to buy you a pair of sneakers! Grow up," her mother said while glaring at her face.
"But you got Nivea a pair!"
