"Mom, I promise to be a good girl. I will never trouble you again but just be safe," Destiny said, hugging Heaven even more tightly.
Heaven could feel how shaken she was by the whole thing. She tried to comfort her over and over again but she just won't listen. It's almost as if she was hiding something deep inside that she doesn't want to share with the others.
"Baby, did something happen while I wasn't here?"
"No, everything is fine."
After sensing how she didn't want to share anything at that moment, Heaven didn't bother pressuring her more.
The other kids were worried too. They both are the only ones who visit them every now and then.
They would get them treats, spend time with them and make them feel loved. They didn't want to lose them, no matter what.
After consoling the kids for a few more minutes, they decided to eat something.
