Augur sprinted where his feet could bring him as the flock of ravens trailed behind him. He panted as he followed the trail of dirt.
TAK! TAK! TAK!
His step echoed as he didn't even try to look back; instead, his eyes squinted in front of him.
The thick fog covered everything except a small radius that the system had granted him; he couldn't even see which way he was heading.
CAW~!
One of the ravens behind him suddenly dashed forward, separating from the flock, and headed his way.
But before the raven could reach him, his foot suddenly hit against the body lying on the ground, sending him to fall over the ground face first.
THUD.
His face landed on the rough surface of dirt, and a hint of foul smell trailed over his nose as he groaned. He immediately tried to sit up as his grip tightened from the old broken lute.
Augur glared at the flocks of ravens hoovering above his place as they circled around him, flapping their wings.

His face was emotionless, but then his eyes suddenly gleamed and he glanced down at his weapon and thought to himself, 'Check skill.'

"Human, fresh! Meat!" The ravens cheered altogether.
Augur furrowed his brows and stood. "I don't know what to do. F*ck."
He glanced down at the lute, it was actually the same one that broke in his world. It was given to him in this world as well, including the strings he snapped together, dangling around the lute.
"Would this work...?" He asked as he gritted his teeth.
"Bard's Play!"
Ding!

Suddenly, a golden aura encircled his body, resembling a ring floating around him, and it also formed a set of translucent strings.
Augur's fingers also glowed with a golden aura as he was momentarily stunned.
"What? In a world..." he mumbled.
The Raven Death Flock started to dive down at him as he glared at them.
He used the fingers with the same aura and strummed the lute once as the golden ring suddenly emitted music notes and waves, followed by piercing sounds engulfing the surrounding area.
The Raven Death Flock suddenly dropped against the ground from a sudden shock of sound waves as they remained still.
The aura around him vanished, including the strings. He looked down at the creatures and said, "What? Are they dead...?"

[Status: In capacitated]
His eyes flickered as he heard it inside his head. Incapacitated is such a powerful skill to be given to him this early.
'But even for the skill effect of incapacitation... Intermediate isn't normal.' He gritted his teeth.
"Give me the stats of the Bard's Play."

[Cooldown: 1 hour]
Augur blinked for a moment and sighed. "Awfully bad performance...?"
His palms were placed over his face as he was frowning; the description was pretty accurate for his skill in music in the former world in which he had lived.
Although the skill was overpowered, the cooldown is too long to be exploited.
'Whatever... I need to get out of here. Luckily, 5 minutes is enough.' Augur thought to himself and his side as he started to sprint once again.
Tak, tak, tak.
After a repeated action of sprinting and resting, his pace continued until finally the fog started to weaken.
Moments later, he held onto a tree as he panted and wiped the sweat from the side of his face. Augur glanced back at Crowler Town as the thick fog covered it like a veil.

The fog suddenly becomes illusory, fading slightly to reveal the town.
Augur finally noticed the town houses already in wreckage, and the walls had much moss and algae clinging to cracked cobble walls.

Augur sighed before catching his breath for a long while, until he then leaned against the tree.
"System, check the map."

"Yes." Augur saw the system flash a screen of a holographic map, but as his gaze lay upon the map, he huffed a deep sigh as his hand pinched the bridge of his nose.
The map only presented him with a visible vision of where he had explored throughout the place.

His eyes flickered as he read 'Master Class'.
'I don't truly know what class grades it the best, but for now... I think that's overpowered.' He rubbed his chin for a moment in deep thought.
Even the map could expand if he explored or scouted the entire area, but that would be troublesome. He is still not familiar with the world he's in.
He crossed his arms and looked up at the sky, with a foul face, glaringly as he held his arms tightly. "Could I just accept that I transmigrated into a different world? How the h*ll did I die from that string anyway...?"
He sighed and closed his eyes. 'I barely read about anything related to transmigration; what is it... Is it comics? I faintly remember the line from my friends though...'
Augur bit his lips, and finally he mumbled, "Status open...!"
