Damon shook his head, "I guess you must be hungry, Ava. Come." He held her hand, leading her to the table arranged on the balcony. "I prepared this specially for you. I hope you like it."
Ava responded, "You don't need to stress yourself this way, Damon. Besides, I had no idea you knew how to cook." She teased.
Damon insisted, "I have to. Cooking is not something I do all the time, I didn't want you to think I'm only good at fu**ing your brains out." As they sat down, he watched her tuck her hair behind her ear, trying so hard to hide the blush that had crept up her face.
"You didn't have to say that. You rotten man." She used her finger to pick up a piece of meat, dipped it in the soup, and ate. Damon couldn't help but be enticed by her. He asked, "Tell me, Ava, do you miss your family?"
Ava's gaze met his, and she nodded, " Of course I do. My mother will be really worried. We've spent almost twenty days here. You know this wasn't the agreement we had with her."
Damon remained silent, and Ava continued, " Why do you ask, would you like to see them?"
Damon replied, "Yes, but we're not going there together. You'll be going back tomorrow."
Ava was surprised, "What? But..."
Damon explained, "No 'buts,' Ava. This world is not safe for you. I need you to be protected. Tomorrow, I will send you back. I'll return to you as soon as the war is over. I promise."
Ava resisted, "I refuse to go! You can't just put me in your life and throw me away immediately like I'm some piece of trash!"
Damon countered, "Ava..."
Ava, growing angry, stood up, moved towards him, and slapped him. She repeated the action three more times. "Now tell me, are you back to your senses now or do you need me to reset your brain again?"
Damon, rubbing his cheek, smiled, "You don't have to hit me, you know. Do you think you can handle it here?"
"I guess it worked, you seemed like you needed it."
Ava assured him, "Yes, with this book." Her gaze lowered to the book in her hands, and she explained, "It's a 'Book of Names."
Damon asked. "How did you find it? I thought I kept it in my pocket."
Ava realized, "It's yours?" He nodded, and he smiled, "That means you can open it, right? Because I've been trying to get this thing to open but it wouldn't." She asked eagerly
Damon replied, "Not really. The book chooses who can open it and what it shows you before giving you the names of demons you can summon."
Ava's eyes sparkled with hope, "With this, who knows? I might become strong enough to stay by your side, and the book might choose me. That way, you don't have to send me back, am I right?"
Damon conceded, "I suppose." Grinning, he set the book on the table and pulled Ava onto his lap. He teased her, "Do you like me so much that you don't want to leave?" Ava blushed and nodded. Damon playfully challenged her, "I don't believe you. I thought you missed your family."
Ava replied, "What? I do like you, Damon. Is that why you want to send me away? Because you think I don't like you?" She looked somewhat sad.
"And yes, I do miss my family but I don't want to leave just yet. We came here together and we're leaving together as well." She spoke
Damon urged, "Prove it to me that you like me, silly." His hands moved to her thighs, and he suggested, "Do something, something you know I will like." His anticipation grew, and he was ready for her to kiss him.
Damon's desire for Ava was evident.
Ava surprised him by reaching for a piece of chicken, dipping it in the soup, and feeding him. She continued, and Damon moaned in delight. He teased, "Do you know what I feel like eating right now?"
Ava shook her head and asked, "Do tell, please."
Damon sensually replied, "You." He licked his lips, gazing at her flushed face. "You taste far better than this and anything I've ever tasted."
Ava voiced concern, "I think maybe next time, we need to use some protection, Damon."
Damon was puzzled, "What for? Why do we need that?"
Ava explained, "Damon, I'm still too young for a child. I might have trouble giving birth."
Damon reassured her, "You won't."
Ava persisted, "I will."
Damon lifted her chin gently and met her eyes, "You don't think I'll use some stupid rubber to prevent my seed from getting into your womb, do you?"
Ava conceded, "Fine! I guess I'll go on birth control pills; that's more effective anyway."
Damon was taken aback, "Ava!"
Ava defended her choice, "What? I don't want to get pregnant."
Damon took matters into his own hands. He placed his finger under her chin, lifted her gaze to meet his, and said, "You've been a bad girl, and bad girls get punished."
Ava pleaded, "Please stop, I don't want to do this" but he held her hand in place. Damon asserted, "I want you to count." He proceeded to spank her, and Ava counted each slap.
Afterward, Damon noticed her arousal and continued to please her intimately. They engaged in an intense and passionate encounter.
In a different scene, Damon watched Ava sleeping peacefully on the bed.
He whispered, "You are everything I could ever ask for. My most priceless jewel."
A ghost arrived with news about Norman, piquing Damon's interest.
"I have the news you asked for," He heard Sebastian's voice and turned to stare at the ghost.
"I hope it's something that would be of good use to me?" He replied. He opened his drawer, took out a cigarette, lit it, and moved to the balcony.
The ghost spoke, "It's about Norman."
"And what about that asshole?"
The ghost smiled, adding, "You'll be surprised by what he has done to himself."
