"What do you mean by that Ezra?" Damian and the others confused as hell.
"I mean God has been taken" Ezra stood by his statement.
"That's impossible Moses tell him that's crazy and he's out of his mind, God can't be taken" Valkyria not wanting to believe a word that comes out of Ezra's mount.
"Yeah but most of the times you know I got your back and you know I trust everything you tell me but this time you are wrong. Who knows what would happen if God to us and the world if God just disappeared" Jason agreed with Valkyria.
Moses was sitting in his chair looking at the faces of the team when Ezra just blurted out that God is missing, he could have tried to calm them down, lied to them or even changed the story if he wanted too. But he didn't and he couldn't because these kids were already deeper into this thing.
So Moses kept silent rushed to close and lock the door, told the team to do the same thing to the windows and also close the curtains. And they followed that order.
Moses kept moving around.
"Moses what's wrong?" Damian asked.
"It's really simple just tell Ezra that he is mistaken God is still there where he always was" Valkyria hoping that Moses would tell Ezra he's mistaken.
"He can't" said Ezra.
"And why is that?" Sarah starting to feel some discomfort.
"Because it's true" Moses not looking at them.
"What is?" Jason getting nervous.
"What Bringer just said God has been taken and it's been months now" Moses confirmed.
Hearing those words coming out of one person they never thought would ever mutter those words, changed everything someone from the sixteen year olds that thought they were here for some other reason. They just didn't want to believe it.
It didn't matter how much Ezra or even Moses tried to explain to them what it means they just wouldn't give them the time or day to explain, this was too much for more than a prank and if it was. It has gone too far.
"How did you know kid? I mean how did you find out?" Moses curious on how Ezra found out.
Ezra told them the whole story he told them that the first time he saw the Fallen was when he just invaded God's Palace, and he saw their conversation that led to confrontation. And the battle between them that he would have won but the Fallen cheated, then God disappeared.
Hearing that side of the story left the others in questions and they just looked at Ezra like he was out of his mind.
"What? Why is everyone looking at me like that?" Ezra unsure.
Then Moses informed that Ezra was actually asleep for more than five hours, unlike his teammates they were only asleep for twenty to thirty minutes tops. And they also told him that that's not the dream they saw, their dream was the birth and creation of a young infant child who's presence gave them a run for their lives. Hence that's why they woke up early it was out of fear.
"That's what you were supposed to see and witness too Ezra so how did you end up where you were?" Moses curious.
"You mean where the angels died?" asked Ezra.
Moses felt discomfort already Ezra was exposing secrets that they weren't even ready to heard, secrets that they hoped would be hidden for more than enough time.
"Wait, how did you know about that?" Moses starting to fear being around Ezra.
"What do you mean I'm telling you that's when I saw the Fallen and his little feathered demons eating and killing every last angel that was there, they are also the ones that devoured God and turned to mist then disappeared" Ezra telling them the whole story.
Fear flooded over all of them their hands started shaking Moses tried to hide it but the fear building up inside of him was too much.
"Kid, kid how the hell did you wind up in God's Palace no human is allowed to enter until the day of Judgement Day, unless" Moses trying to solve the mystery.
"Unless what?" Moses looks at Jason who he fears to answer. "Moses tell us the truth, now!" Valkyria not in the mood for riddles.
"Unless if Ezra was an angel we don't know about, maybe that's why he was rejected and called impure" Moses lays that out in the air.
"Hah hah hah very funny Mo" Damian laughed.
"That's impossible" Valkyria said.
"Unless" Jason leaning closer to the face of Ezra. Who was beginning to feel some discomfort.
"Dude I love you but you not my type" Ezra pushed Jason away from him.
The glare from the eyes of everyone else in the room that Ezra didn't understand left him doubting his sanity.
"If you are no angel how did you enter God's Palace?" Jason asked.
"I don't know I was taken there" Ezra told them.
"By who?" Damian, Valkyria and Sarah asked.
"By some guy by the name of Samael" Ezra under pressure.
Moses jumped out of his chair the very moment he heard the name Samael, fear flooded through him again this time he was shaking non stop.
"Mo are you alright?" Damian noticed.
"I'm fine, what did you say kid? The name tell me the name of the guy who took you" Moses' voice in fear.
"Samael" Ezra answered.
"What? guys what's with the faces?, he just called some random name. So what's the big deal?"
"I take if you talking like that then you clearly don't know who the hell is Samael" Jason said.
"Duh! We don't, now let's try this again who the hell is Samael?" Damian now curious than before.
"He's the one we don't talk about here?" Moses said.
"Why?" Damian kept asking questions.
"Because he's the" Moses interrupted again.
A beautiful god like looking man wearing a black tunic with gold bangles and a snake necklace around his neck appeared next to Ezra.
