After the horrifying event that took place in the holy house, the three had to deal with the aftermath because the angels were too traumatized and could barely even move a muscle.
Moses ran outside to check if Rameses was still anywhere to be found but he wasn't nothing showed that he was even there not a single evident pointing or better not even a small indication to show, nothing at all. Seems like Rameses just disappear into thin air.
Ezra was still looking and acting a bit strange, sure both Jacob and Moses just met the kid but something about him gave them this curiosity and questions.
"Where am I?" Ezra dropped the broom.
"Are you okay child?" Jacob asked.
"Who are you guys and what's this place? How did I even get here?" Ezra sounded so confused.
This wasn't what Jacob or even Moses was expecting to them not so long ago this boy just busted out an evil pharaoh that tricked everyone into think he was an angel.
Ezra looked around the place and what he saw scared him like it was supposed to scare a normal human being, he saw the pile of bodies, crying people and blood all over the walls and floor. He started to experience short breath, as if he was getting attacked by a panic attack or something similar to it, he stumbled around like he was drunk, he felt like he was overheating and got a little dizzy. So he just ran outside to catch some air.
Moses followed him to make sure that he is okay.
"Are you okay child?" Moses hesitant to get close to him.
"Is that a trick question? No, of course I'm not okay. I just saw myself in a room covered in blood and a mountain of bodies" he said.
"You don't remember anything?" Moses getting worried.
"No should I? I don't even know who you are and where I am, the only thing I remember is me in my house taking a nap and looking after my mom. Oh my mother, where is she? Is she okay?" Ezra getting worked up.
"Take a deep breath child, okay and please don't worry your mother is okay and well taken care of" Moses assured him.
Jacob came outside "I think you should come and see this" he said.
Moses took the hand of Ezra and went inside and what they saw left them in pieces, the two tablets turned color from their bright and beautiful gold to a rusty brown, decaying color.
"What is the meaning of this?" Jacob looked at Moses for answers, who shrugged too which means he didn't know what was happening either.
The now dead two tablets flew from the ground and floated in the air, they began collide with each other banging against each other creating enough friction that caused interruption of the whole of the the holy place. Making a sound like two asteroids crashing into the Earth's surface.
This sound wasn't that dangerous for the likes of Moses, Jacob and the rest of the other angels. But for Ezra it was painful and he was screaming in agony.
"What's happening to me? Aah" covering his ears and suffering a major headache.
The banging kept getting worse and worse by the minute, destroying everything in existence inside the holy house. The building was starting to crack, the pillars holding it tumbled bit by bit and for the giant chair. . . The granite holding it together cracked open and black shinning soil came out of it.
"Moses look" Jacob shows Moses.
Moses was busy attending Ezra who was really in pain and crying for help, his temperature increased so high even his own sweat felt like it was boiling.
"Can you please watch him for me? I'll be right back" Moses handed weak Ezra to the other angel to look after him.
"Don't worry I got him" the angel assured him.
Moses joined Jacob who was now speechless. "What's that?" Moses asked.
"I don't know but whatever it is it doesn't seem like it's a good thing" he replied.
The whole place was falling apart like it was just experiencing a level 4 or 5 earthquake, everyone was running to get out of the way to avoid being crushed by the falling pillar rocks.
"Stay here" Moses told Jacob. Who from the looks of it was glad to oblige " yeah like I was going to do anything"
Moses nod his head and showed a little smile, then went directly for the cracking throne he kneeled with one leg and looked back at Jacob. As if he was waiting for him to give him a go-ahead.
Moses tasted the shinning soil.
"It tastes like salt" Moses told Jacob.
"What?" Jacob couldn't believe him.
"Come taste it for yourself" Moses dared him.
Jacob didn't want to take the word of Moses, even though they were good friends he didn't trust him that much. After all these two liked to play pranks on each other, so Jacob tasted the salt.
"This salt tastes and looks like the one Edith turned into" Jacob said.
"You mean Lot's wife?" Moses asked.
"Yes her the only difference is the color but this salt has never been produced by humankind no matter how much we tried during our time, even now" Jacob explained.
"Then why is it black?" Moses curious.
"Honestly I don't know" Jacob answered.
While they were still focusing on the mystery salt, Ezra screams in pain behind them. They both jump.
"What's happening?!" Moses asked.
"I don't know he just started acting like this!" The angel trying to hold down Ezra.
Who was now apparently having a seizure.
"Hold his head up!" Jacob came running to Ezra.
Who wasn't making things easier neither was the big banging sounds of the two tablets, Ezra's eyes glew white like the first time he was coming here. He stands up and walks towards the tablets.
"Please stop" he ask nicely.
The tablets stop clashing again each other the sound gets better, the dust that was caused by the falling pillar pieces settles down, then a bright light shimmers coming from the tablets it dims down and now turned to gold again. But that wasn't the only surprised, Ezra was now lying unconscious on the floor. Along with a couple of unknown people all over the place.
