Shen Bijun's steps paused for a moment.
She suddenly quickened her pace, walked over, and then reached out her arms to embrace him.
Chu Yanshen's body stiffened slightly, then he patted Shen Bijun's back and asked, "What's wrong?"
Shen Bijun suppressed the sudden sourness in her throat and spoke in a soft voice, "It's nothing. Maybe it's because I'm getting married tomorrow, I'm feeling a bit emotional."
Upon hearing this, Chu Yanshen's body stiffened again, then he smiled and said, "My Junjun, you finally seem like a normal woman."
Shen Bijun pushed him away and rolled her eyes with a laugh, "What? Do I not seem like a woman to you?"
"That's not what I mean. It's just that the Junjun of the past was always unflappable, no matter what she did. Now, I finally get to see a bit of the shyness fitting for a young woman of marriageable age!"
Chu Yanshen's words, however, did not make Shen Bijun laugh.
